 Lucien paused for a moment at the word 'secret'. He had a memory about his sister, that made him despise Miziki for a long time.
You like Nicole? Don't worry, I won't tell her!"
You could almost hear Lucien start to swear under his breath. After that, he had never trusted Miziki again. This was about eight years ago, and Lucien always held it against her. "Okay!" he replied to Xeven as he turned off the shower, get out and stared into the mirror. I look hideous.

  Xeven whined and banged her head on the door lightly. "Come ooooooon, Lucien. If you don't get out here soon I'm going to kick down the door!" She huffed and crawled into the center of the room. She dropped down on her side and closed her eyes, waiting for Lucien to return. "I don't care if you're naked. I'll come in!" she warned. Though she didn't think she could bear seeing someone naked other than herself. She didn't even know what a boy looked like under their clothes. They could have fifty eyes for all she knew!

Lucien let out a dissapointed sigh. His face was filled with sadness, and his eyes were wavering. I wonder where Nicole is now. he thought as he wrapped a towel around his waist and opened up the door, letting the steam from the shower pour out of the room. He started to walk out of the room and towards his drawer.

Xeven was getting to feel a bit agitated with everything. Her patience was wearing thin and she wasn't getting any younger. With an annoyed grunt she stood and folded her arms. The girl tapped her foot slowly, showing just how antsy she was getting. She wasn't used to having to wait for anyone since she was always alone. "Can you please hurry the ******** up..." she growled. Throwing her hands in the air, she stomped out of the room and slammed the door shut. She stood, moodily muttering to herself. "Is this going to be a frequent thing? Pissing yourself?" she snapped. At times like this she couldn't really control her words. They just seemed to spill out of her mouth.

Lucien snapped: He finally had enough of Xeven. He slipped on a new pair of boxers and jeans as quickly as he could and threw his towel to the ground. YOU F*CKED UP AGAIN, YOU IDIOT! he thought to himself as he ripped the door open. "GET OUT!" he screamed. Miziki jumped to her feet and ran towards the bedroom. Once he heard Miziki coming, he slammed his door shut and locked it. Miziki looked the the slamming door, then at Xeven. "What happened?"

Xeven stood, awestruck and speechless. She searched for words, actions that would patch things up quickly but she couldn't take it. She heard the words ' get out' too many times before. A small piece of her broke inside, but she wasn't going to take it like anyone else would. A switch had been struck. A switch that activated the intense feelings of anger and hatred within her. Without thinking, she banged on the door and started to scream. Tears spilled down her face as she clawed at the door, breaking her fingernails with the harsh impact. "Lucien! Open up this door! I'm going to kill you!" Though she was threatening him, her voice cracked and sounded vulnerable. "You can't just tell me to leave! You can't do that!" With each word her breaths grew shorter and her voice grew frailer. "Look what you did... I hate people, get attached to you so quickly and then tell me to get lost. Why would you do that?... Why?" Xeven coughed, trying to hold back all her feelings - but they poured out as if there was no end. "You're just like everyone else! I take back everything I said. Everything!"
She turned to Miziki and wiped the tears from her eye. "I hate him..." was all she could say. But deep inside she knew it wasn't true. They were just words of hurt. She cared for him and didn't want to leave. Her bottom lip trembled and she threw her arms around Miziki. "Why? I don't even know what I did wrong..." She rubbed her wet face into the other female's chest and heaved loudly.

Miziki held Xeven tight. "Oh my lord...come here!" she said as she lead Xeven into her bedroom. That idiot! she thought. Lucien fell onto his bed, embarrassed and filled with rage. He curled up into a ball as soft tears fell down his face. He knew he'd screw up with Xeven just like he did with Nicole.

As soon as Xeven entered the room she let all the tears fall freely from her eyes. She threw herself (quite dramatically) on Miziki's bed, not caring how pathetic she looked. Her sobs were muffled when she turned to plant her face in the large pillows. "I just don't understand!" She turned back to Miziki and wiped her nose on her sleeve. "I don't know what I did! He just makes me feel so weird," she sobbed obnoxiously. Pushing back the red-brown strands of hair, she let out an ear-piercing shriek. Little did Xeven know that she was going through a natural cycle that many sirens went through that included horrible mood swings and something a bit more strange...
The girl held her stomach and winced. She continued to cry but something other than emotion was taking over her senses. "He just makes me so... so.... hungry," she said with a small smirk.Licking her lips she looked back up at Miziki, hoping she didn't hear the last part. All she wanted now is to sink her teeth into Lucien's flesh.

Miziki patted her back. "Tell me exactly what happened in there? Did he hit you?" she asked, her voice filled with worry and angst. Lucien rolled off of his bed and groaned. His eyes darted to the door. Should I? He got up and unlocked the door, but he couldn't find the courage to leave the room.

Xeven shook her head. Xeven wanted to tell Miziki everything but that would include their little secret as well. She was torn between telling the whole truth or telling only most of it. "No he didn't hit me. W-we just had a slight disagreement and--" The feeling of hunger stopped her mid-sentence and she groaned. What the hell is going on? To let the hunger subside she bit on her fingernails but it wasn't enough. She furrowed her brows and glared over at Miziki.
Following her instincts she darted off the bed, out of the room, and to Lucien's door. Without a second though she pushed open the door and stared silently at the boy. She really wanted to say something but not before she tackled him to the ground, crawled on top of him, and started to bite at his neck and shoulder. She had never ate straight from the source before so she had no idea what she was doing. All she knew was that she had a horrible need for food and a male was defiantly a fitting meal for a siren.

Lucien was shocked: He had absolutely no idea how to react at all. He wriggled away from Xeven and let out a low yelp. "AH! I'M SORRY! I'M SORRY!" he screamed as he scuttled about the room in fear. Miziki watched the whole ordeal go down. She thought this was absolutely hilarious.

"I'M SORRY TOO!" Xeven yelled over Lucien's screams. But she still felt the need to rip off his flesh and feed off of his body. "Come 'ere!" The girl chased him around the room, trying her best to bite the boy. She finally caught him and pulled him close. "Just a bite!" she yelled, nibbling on his arm. This time she bit hard enough to draw blood. She pulled back and looked at what she was doing. "I'm sorry! I'm so hungry! This is your fault! You set off my natural instincts you... you... meany!" she scolded with a pout. She wrapped her skinny arms around the taller teen and frowned. "I'm sorry I was an a*****e! And for biting you..."

Lucien wiped his arm on his pants and sighed. "It's okay. Let's just...please forget about all that just happened..." he plead. Miziki just rolled her eyes and went back into her bedroom.

Xeven nodded, a smile gracing her face.She already felt better and Lucien was willing to put everything behind them. "Yeah," she agreed. She messed up big time for being so moody and rude. But this was basically a second chance and she was not going to make that mistake again - not intentionally that is. She gave him a quick hug and looked down at her feet. "I'm so lucky to have met you..." she said to herself softly. Xeven took a deep breath and smirked. She couldn't help but feel happy. "I like you, Lucien. Like, like you. Is that okay?" she asked innocently. Are you even supposed to ask for someone's permission to like them? How the hell does this stuff work?!

Lucien smiled and patted Xeven's head. "Of course I...like-like you!" he said as he started to walk out of the room. "You want to watch a movie?" he asked Xeven, until Miziki stopped him. "What the hell did you do to her?" she screamed.
