"Be saying things of little similarities, my friend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Decius said. Realizing that the girl would not leave him alone, the doctor decided to sit where the quiet boy sat. Perhaps if this girl was around that boy long enough, she would cling to him instead of the doctor.

Niji Hanwhen the child came back out, she was in the process of devouring a quadruple decker ice cream cone that had caramel and chocolate drizzled on top of it. {translation:}

 Kubinashi sighed and looked away shyshyly as the man sat at the table. "did you need something"he said, thouhh his voice came out amused instead of cold. He looked at the child and then away again, not used to being around others. "looks like she has good taste in sweets"he said, trying his best to open up. The doctor only beamed at the man he sat besides before seeing the girl with her ice cream. He tilted his head then looked down at his own: a banana split with every topping available on it. He supposed it made sense for children to have a sense of taste as good as his in the fields of candy.

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." So this is it, huh?" Fredrich murmured as he turned the car off. In front of them was the very warm and bubbly sight of the ice cream parlor, where few kids enjoyed treats with their parents and a couple dates began and ended. It was not at all a place for a man as intimidating and depressing as the detective. Fredrich got out of the car and moved swiftly to the passenger's seat, unbuckling Daniel and setting him on top of his shoulders. At least both Daniel and Ellery seemed to be doing better. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Daniel BerryFrom his high place in the world, Daniel looked around, cold eyes once again glaring at all the happy laughing people. How annoying this was. Wasn't there a far less joyful place? Oh well. At least he could keep making fun of Ellery. " Pink and pretty. Just like you, Ellie." " Keep pushing me, kid. Just keep on pushing me." Ellery walked over and opened the door, holding it open for the detective and the child. " Annoying little hairball." Daniel only laughed and stuck out his tongue. Ellery Advimi

Fredrich Waltz
In this world, one cannot say anything without proof to back them up." I find it funny how you were the one who cared so deeply for the - What was it you just said? - hairball." Fredrich chuckled and walked over to the counter. As he waited in line and looked over his choices of ice cream - finding vanilla with cherries to be appetizing - he heard a noise that made his blood freeze. " Lo and behold! Is that who I think it is?" Turning his head slowly, Fredrich, to his dismay, had his suspicions confirmed when a tall, muscular, and very handsome police officer walked towards them. " Detective Fredrich Waltz! What brings you to these parts?" he asked with a bright smile on his face. The smile left when he saw the kid perched on the tall man's shoulders, and he gave his friend a blank stare. " Yo, there's a kid on your shoulders." he pointed out. Fredrich looked at him as though he were an idiot. " I'm well aware of that." he said slowly. " His name is Daniel, and I've become his legal guardian." " Huh. Guess it's about time, huh?" the officer mused while scratching his nonexistent beard. " A lot of people usually think of you as a father. Hehe, Papa Freddy. I like it." he snickered, laughing harder when the detective growled under his breath. " Enough of that." Fredrich said while using his free hand to push his glasses up the bridge of his nose, trying hard not to punch the other man for daring to call him that. " What are you doing here, Cameron? I thought you were back in California." The officer named Cameron shrugged. " I heard someone was trying to hunt my old man down, so I decided to hunt them back and see how they liked it. Pretty cool, huh?" he smiled brightly and put his hands on his hips as he awaited agreement. Without proof, you'll never catch me. ................................................ ................................................

Daniel Berry" That was before he started becoming an annoying little-" " Hey, is he your type?" asked the boy after Cameron spoke, reaching out to poke his forehead. " Nice face. Kinda reminds me of Aquaman, but he doesn't have such dumb powers." The kid bent down a little, looking at Fredrich. " Is he your boyfriend?" whispered Daniel. " I won't tell Ellie if he is. Just kidding, I would. I like making Ellie upset~" The thin songwriter growled lightly. " Mouth shut, brat." Daniel only giggled and waited for confirmation. Ellery Advimi

Fredrich Waltz
Against us you'll never win... Fredrich felt his eye twitch when Daniel even thought of pairing him with the obnoxious cop in front of them. Before he could reject that a million times, the officer burst out laughing. "Me 'n Freddy? Of course!" Cameron laughed. He was lying, of course, but seeing that dumbfounded humiliation on the tall guy's face was absolutely hilarious. To further confirm it, he stepped towards the detective and laced his arms around his neck, causing Fredrich's eye to twitch more. "Come here, honey. Give us a kiss~" he teased and made a duck face. The entire background practically turned bright pink and flowers blossomed all around them. Few girls in the area blushed at the two handsome men together, but Fredrich... "Would you get off me?!" he seethed and punched the officer in the stomach. Cameron gasped and stumbled back a step, but straightened back up and laughed as if nothing happened. "Aww C'mon, I'm just havin' fun with ya, Fred." he laughed then looked to the brown-haired man. "So you must be this Ellie guy, eh? Nice to meet you. I'm Officer Cameron West." he introduced brightly and held his hand out for a handshake. ...so you'd better run.

Daniel BerryWhile Daniel laughed happily at Cameron's antics, Ellery merely rolled his eyes and smiled back at the officer. " Ellery Advimi, Daniel's other guardian," he counter-introduced, taking Cameron's hand and shaking as firmly as a man of his size and stature could. " He's my Mommy Figure!" announced Daniel loudly, to Ellery's disdain. The songwriter cringed. " Daniel, we've gone over this. I'm not your Mother Figure. I'm a Father Figure, just like Detective Waltz." " But you wear make-up and dresses and carry purses and kiss cute boys and-" " Seriously, who is feeding you these lies?!" " You're just mad because cute boys like me more cuz I'm adorable~" " How can a rotten hairball be adorable?" " Detective Freddy, Ellie's being mean to meeeee!" whined the little boy, eyes tearing up. Beside him, the songwriter sighed and covered his face with his hand. " What the Hell have I gotten myself into?" Ellery Advimi

Fredrich Waltz
Against us you'll never win... Cameron lifted his hand up and stretched it to ruffle Daniel's hair. "I think you're pretty adorable, kiddo." he said then let his hand fall limply to his side and looked at the shorter man of the group. "So does that mean you're with Freddy?" he asked and looked at the pale Austrian. "What happened to all that talk on the phone? You kept going on and on about how you were all complete with that kid named Eth-" His words were mumbled when a gloved hand was pressed tightly against his mouth. "I'll explain later." Fredrich hissed then leaned back. As much as he hated to do this... "Why don't you join us for some ice cream, Officer?" he asked just as the cashier turned and waited for their orders. Cameron rubbed his mouth then smiled at them. "How could I say no to free ice cream?" he said and turned to order a banana split. As the officer ordered, the detective sighed, "He drains me." He looked at Ellery. "I suppose it's a best friend's job to annoy you to no end, isn't it?" he asked with a halfhearted smile. ...so you'd better run.

Daniel BerryDaniel leaned for Cameron, grunting as he reached for him. " I wanna ride on Mr. Officer's shoulders!" he said, sticking out his tongue in concentration. Hearing Fredrich's words, Ellery snorted and shoved his hands into his back pockets. " And to break your things and almost kill you while they do it," he added, grinning. " I once let Lock borrow my bike, which in itself was stupid. Lock's always been so much bigger than me, so I shouldn't have handed over my bike that was built for someone of my size. I did, though, and when I tried to ride it after he gave it back, it literally broke into pieces beneath me and I got launched into the neighbor's pool!" Despite how angry he'd been at the time, Ellery still remembered it all fondly. Lock had pulled him from the pool and tried to fix the bike with duct tape and zip ties. Back before Fredrich, the man chuckled easily and smiled. " But hey, we're lucky. They haven't gotten us killed yet." Ellery Advimi

Fredrich Waltz
Against us you'll never win... Hearing the request, Cameron turned around and happily picked the boy up, landing him on his shoulders. "What do you wanna order, lil' guy?" he asked. Meanwhile, Fredrich chuckled lightly. "Or themselves. Cameron once tried to fix his gun by staring into the barrel. He shot his face right off. He's immortal, believe it or not, but was bedridden for three weeks, and I had to be the one taking care of him." He ran a gloved hand through his dark hair. "Sometimes I think I should just be a doctor instead of a detective because of that oaf." ...so you'd better run.

Daniel BerryDaniel thought for a moment, then pointed at a picture of a cone dipped in strawberry sauce. " I want the one! The one that looks like it's covered in blood!" Ellery slipped one hand out of his pocket to reach up and push his glasses further up his nose, smiling at the detective. " Trust me, I understand. A little while after we became friends, Lock brought me up to his treehouse in his backyard. Ten minutes after he get into this rickety thing, Lock tries to play jump rope inside, falls out of the window, and gets a broken arm, and broken leg, and two black eyes. He was too scared to tell his mother, who is admittedly the most frightening woman on the planet, so I had to take him to my house and keep him there for almost two months until his body finally healed for him to go back." Ellery tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, not even bothering to grunt as the troublesome hair moved back to his face. " It's like, you turn your back for a second, and they take that as permission to do all the dumb things you said were too dangerous and stupid." Ellery Advimi

Fredrich Waltz
Against us you'll never win... "Ooh, it does!" Cameron brightened and pointed at it for the cashier. "Give me one of those, too!" he ordered, making the cashier sweatdrop. Fredrich laughed, a refreshing change from his stoic attitude. "Yes, and even though they can wear on the nerves endlessly," He turned and smiled softly at the officer. "There are also countless times when they have been there for us." He could still remember when he was shot in the chest twice and once in the stomach. He was on the verge of death, his sight was already darkening, and before his killer could finish him off Cameron shot them and begged his father to save him. Even though that officer was an annoying moron, he was also the only one that understood Fredrich, and without him, he would've been dead. ...so you'd better run.
