Who would have thought that being delirious never helps in crossing a table in the middle of a tea ceremony. It seemed last time Heidla was lucky. Or else the gnome was not that oblivious as she thought, because this time everything she did was all too wrong. First, when she decided to grab a cake, it tasted appallingly gooey and disgusting, then she was almost hit by a piece of broken glass! It was not a mind your manners case, but definitely a mind your size issue that she had completely forgotten. Desperate to restore her stamina she grabbed another cake. This time it was good enough to make her devour it in pleasant solitude in an empty upturned cup that provided a shelter safe enough... or at least, it seemed to be safe before it was suddenly smashed under the harsh attack of a familiar bronze teapot ornament.
She rushed out of it, licking her fingers and without thinking - again, Heidla! - jumped into a cup of coffee. Scalding coffee! The priestess was terrified - and forgetting all about her priestly manners and pride and trance experience she tried to climb out of it - helas, to no avail. Ta-ta-ta! Wasn't this experience similar to the death note you hear in the end of a trance session?

Akhem stood in front of a large table that was intimidatingly high. He wondered what the hell he was supposed to do now. Well might as well climb it.

He grabbed onto the tablecloth, and tried to hoist himself up. He put one foot onto the cloth and...

oof. He slipped. Akhem landed right on his butt. He hoped no one had seen that. He leaned forward, and threw himself up. He really needed to practice standing up. He didn't want to look this uncoordinated when others saw him. He climbed the tablecoth with his hands and small baby steps. What he came face to face with was not what he had expected.

Gnomes? and by the look of them not friendly. He didn't want to be their SNACK! Were they freaking kidding! He ran to hide, then started sneaking his way across the table.

And back into the mad hatters tea party he found himself. There was the same reaction as before as a bunch of gnomes fell silent and stared down at him with hungry eyes. From behind he heard a voice, and turned to find himself faced with what he could only assume was the mad hatter himself.

"Hiya ugly!" He called out cheerfully, then attempted to make a run for it.

Again he made his way for the maze, knowing that it was his best bet for getting out of here..as long as this time he could keep himself from getting killed by various obstacles and cutlery.

Things seemed promising to start with. He even found a piece of cake that while looking delicious he found himself avoiding simply because he was not a very big fan of cake. Yes, he actually appeared to have given the nasty gnomes the slip this time around and was just ready to do a little bit of celebratory dance when he found himself somehow falling into a cup of coffee.

Ahhhhhh it burrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrned! He cried out, he struggled, he flailed, and he felt his undead flesh heating up to excruciating levels of pain and torment. To make matters worse, it appeared as though he were being bombed as well.

Dissipation was actually a relief at this point.

Akhem started to make his way through the maze of the table....

He ran through something gooey, getting stuck along the way. GOD DAMN these legs. He had to wiggle out, eating whatever it was in the process. He felt weaker.

As he got out and tried to start moving something started to drip. And it was hot. He looked up and saw something starting to rain down on him. MOVE MOVE MOVE!

Whew. That had taken a lot out of him. He saw some cookie and decided to eat for nourishment.

He was immediately grabbed by a gnome! WTH!! he put Akhem down though in some other gooey stuff. Just GREAT. He started to eat out, but then he started screaming. FIRE! FIRE! HE WAS ON FIRE! HE WAS GOING TO DIE! Akhem rolled around in immense pain, knowing subconsciously that he wouldn't die, but feeling the worst. Undead and fire DID NOT mix.

He got up slowly and deliberately, searching for something to replenish him. He spotted some cake... maybe that would help? He tore off some and ate it, but he began to feel weird... like he was floating.. odd...

Akhem embraced the darkness as it seeped around him.

...and again Eisheth stumbled upon a wild gnome herd, but this time it was no surprise for her. She quickly hid herself beside the nearest tea pot, and waited.

Pausing for good 10 minutes, Eisheth decided it's time to make her way to the other part of the table. She carefully looked around, and spotted no gnomes: the way was clear!

The music was eerie, but oddly fitting for all the weirdness Taima had stumbled upon. Taima found her way blocked once more, this time by what looked like a giant table. She could hear voices above it, the clink and clatter of dishes being used and passed around. Maybe whoever was sitting at the table could help her figure out how to get out of here.

Tiny as she currently was, the flight to the tabletop seemed to take forever. When she finally reached the top, she found that she seemed to be crashing what appeared to be a tea party. Her guess was confirmed when the gnomes lunged for her, and she did the only thing she could do in her current tiny state: she ran and hid.

This time Eisheth was much faster: the alchemist remembered the approximate location of teapots and plates, and yeah, of course, forks: she would want to impale herself on one once again!

No matter how well she knew the way, Eisheth managed to jump right into some goop: probably some kind of jelly, or caramelized shallot marmalade, - she figured the exact location of things on the table is constantly changing. The next turn she remembered was blocked by a huge muffin somebody purposefully dropped to block her way, but it all turned well: avoiding the muffin mountain she discovered a cut-out, and finished her home run at the other side of the table.

Still jingling, Amarus made her way towards the music-- the strange music, which made her uncomfortable. Now it was begining to seem like a bad dream. She wished she had grabbed another of her ribbons to keep her warm, like a shawl-- not that she really needed it, being a ghost, and all... she allowed herself to become as transparent as possible, as though that could protect her from whatever was up ahead.

Until she reached the table. She stared at it, wondered how to approach it... Hmm. It seemed as though, while the table leg would be more stable, she would have difficulty scaling around the cloth if she made it to the top of the table leg and could go no further. Good thing acts of physical endurance were her forte. That, and apparently baking. She grabbed hold of the cloth, raised her evening-gown-like sleeve higher so that she could twine the cloth around her calves for safety, and began to pull herself up this way. An even pace, and she was at the top sooner rather than later.

The table cloth was filthy. She dusted her hands off, and tried to avoid further filth by going transparent again. And it was the table cloth of a very disgusting tea-party. She hid behind a teapot, and tried to observe her surroundings. Yeah, that didn't work. Probably because as she dashed towards a teapot, her bells rang. She'd been spotted by a gnome. Amarus hitched her gown up and prepared to book it.

As her size had been reduced considerably, her voice came out a lot quieter and thinner than she had previously recalled! "I can assure you, I am not in the least bit tasty."

At first, she tripped on her own dress. "Jack-damned shrinking," she cursed, "I would smash you all to tiny pieces, were I my normal size!" she called up at the hideous and vastly annoying gnomes.

At about that point, she dove into a teapot that had been emptied and turned on its side, wedging herself into its recesses where little hands and little eyes couldn't quite grab nor see her. She waited there until she was relatively calm again, her essence smeared across her hands, trying to dim her aura so that she was harder to spot.

Eventually, thinking she was perhaps safe, she peered out of the teapot and stared at the gnomes. She was busy committing each of their faces to memory before she tried to book it again, trying to avoid any snatching hands, darting behind a sugar dish and kicking a creamer over with her foot as a distraction before she grabbed hold of a fork and attempted to use it to catapult herself to safety. A dirty fork. Ew.

Whatever, it worked, and she made it out of there... What was next?

A maze was next. Amarus let down her glove evening gown, bell ringing again, and formed her hands into the Kuji-kiri for Rin, To, Pyo. The repetition of those symbols was helping her focus, and renew her resolve. It would work out, surely... One must simply have a warrior's mind, a warrior's resolve.

A warrior's 1/8th height inside a discarded sleeve. Whatever. A warrior's need to make do with the ridiculous situations one found themselves in. "Is it bad I still crave the drink that shrank me in the first place?" she asked aloud, sighing. Nobody could hear her anyway now, right?

Without really thinking, she ate a cake. It was so delicious, it was unbelievable. As she went along, she ate a second cake, and it was a complete and total lie. In fact, it tasted faintly waxy, and after a single bite of this cake she realized it was just a candle painted to look like a cake. She wasted five minutes standing in place feeling nauseous, trying to pick wax out of her teeth.

Once she was well enough to continue, she found a third cake. "Oh come on," she complained aloud, before feeling compelled to try her luck one more time. Amarus was kind of a gambler, it seemed, and she would rather test out cake after cake in the hopes of getting an edible one. This one was delicious, So delicious that it made her feel better about everything.

Until she ate the fourth cake, which wasn't even a cake at all, it was some kind of hard biscuit or toffee or something nearly inedible it was so firm. Someone had simply covered it in icing to disguise it as a cake.

In disgust, she discarded the cake, and wandered straight into a creamer.
Which started to sizzle, burn, and melt her clothes off.

Pulling herself out of the acid cream was.. interesting. Her evening gown was now in tatters, and she was back to barely being clad at all. It was scantily-clad Mad Tea Party time, apparently. Amarus smoothed down what was left of her acid-eaten dress and swore that whatever had been in her punch had probably made her pass out. Either that, or all of this was the product of whatever brain-consuming meds the Nurse had given her to treat a landshark attack. Jack-damned land sharks. She sighed, inhaled, exhaled.

Okay, well, she had made it this far. Now there was a plate of cookies. Amarus felt her knees wibble at the thought of consuming any more questionable baked goods. She whimpered, somewhere inside her imagination, the part of her that she had not experienced in a very long time. Apparently, baked goods were now nauseating. NO! Baked goods were wonderful! This maze was the nauseating entity, and she would not let it ruin baked goods!

"You are not going to destroy my love of cupcakes, Tea Party! I will conquer you, much better than I conquered the ram... and the land shark..." she muttered, and grabbed hold of a fist full of cookies, dropping all but one as she raised it to her mouth and took a chunk out of it with her teeth as if ripping a piece of meat away. "It's delicious," she stated aggressively, to no one in particular, before returning to her normal size and passing out.

This was just getting more and more ridiculous. The war chieftain found her now vertically challenged self striding up to what appeared to be a giant table, odd and teeth grindingly annoying music playing and raucous laughter and chatter coming from somewhere above. Her wings were still far too wet to consider flying, so she reached up to grab a hold of the table cloth, hauling herself up, ready to demand that somebody tell her how to get out of this wretched place.

When she reached the top, things went silent. Then shouting happened. Ugh, gnomes. It was true, she had probably kicked several of them at some point or another. She really had no attachments to them and she was always catching them looking up her clothing at her undergarments.

But these gnomes were bigger then her, and eyeing her like she were some kind of food.

"You wouldn't dare." She hissed, dagger flashing into her hand as she readied herself into a position for battle.

A voice behind her had her whirling. Curses, she was surrounded! Without even giving it another moments thought, she lashed out at the bulbous nose of the gnome in the tall hat and made a mad dash of escape, leaping off of the table and beating her near useless wings to help make her landing a little bit easier. Once on the ground she broke into a sprint to get away from the hungry looking and lecherous individuals who followed her.
