Athena was going to say something to him when he brought up that she said he was a looker, she simply pretended like she didn't hear him. She pet her cat and heard him give a soft meow. "He meowed." She smiled some and looked up at Noel. "I love cats." She nuzzled her own cat and closed her eyes. She heard him speak, she was trying to avoid the subject. She let out a breath as he nudged her. She gently pushed him away. "I did no such thing." She said moving away from him, her back to him. Her cheeks were a little red. "You're an air head. Not worth a penny in the world." She said, the mean and hatred comments coming out now.

Noel nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I had a cat before Salem. He was orange and small. We thought it was a girl, so we called him "Kitty Purry" Ya know, like Katy Perry. Buuut, a lady showed us his tiny balls, and we started calling him "Puss in Boots." Noel said, before frowning. "We even dressed him up as puss and boots... in boots on Halloween, and gave out candy. BUT. My dad made me give him away." Noel said with a sad smile. He missed his old orange cat. But he loved Salem all the same. He then grinned at her. "Then why are you blushing? Explain that."

Athena listened to him and blinked, chuckling softly. "Well.. That was... Interesting to hear." She looked down at her cat, she slowly put him down. "You would dress up your pets?" She blinked, her back still to him. She released a breath, facing him. "There is no blush. I don't blush." She scoffed lightly and moved past him to the shelves on the wall and she opens a cabinet, looking through the things just to occupy her nervous self. She finally heard her mother and she smiled, she was grateful for that.
Her mother came out with two cups of something to drink. "Here are some drinks." She placed them onto the table and she smiled. Athena blinked. "Did it take you that long... To make drinks?" She crossed her arms and eyed her mom. "Eavesdropping does not count either." She said puffing out her cheeks like a squirrel with nuts in its mouth.
Her mother laughed some. "Fine fine, I will leave you two alone." She said going to her room.

Noel grinned. "It was funny. And it was my brothers idea, not mine. So don't get the wrong idea, here." Noel said, before rolling his eyes a her. Not everyone blushed, that was true, because he read online that only certain people had veins in their cheeks that got full. Something really gross that he was reading on the internet one really boring night. "Well, that's not what I saw." He sang. "But I'll leave you alone about it. For now anyways."
He chuckled at the face Athena made when she mentioned her mother eaves dropping. It was adorable. Noel watched Athena's mom leave, and when she left he looked at Athena. "Your mom is pretty hot, just sayin' " Noel said chuckling, shoving his hands into his back pockets, looking at his drink.

She waited until her mother left before she would resume talking. She looked to Noel, closing the cabinet and she huffed out. "I could never dress up my cat, my mother has tried it before but yeah... Kind of didn't work well. He wouldn't budge or he would just flop over." She shrugged her shoulders lightly. She narrowed her eyes. "I wasn't blushing." She pouted a bit, but soon she gasped hearing him. She smacked him on his arm, not too hard though. "Ew!" She let out. She moved to her couch and plopped down onto it. "That was disturbing to hear." She shivered and made another face, this one showing she was more disgusted than anything. "She used to be a model until she was layed off because they found a younger one than her." She shrugged, she crossed her arms over her chest as she sat there, watching him.

Noel gave her a fake pout when she slapped him on the arm, and began explaining that her mom was a model. "Woah, that's cool. But I'm serious. She's pretty. And intimidating. She scares me. Like I think she's gong to chop my hands off if I insult her in any way." He mumbled, before pulling out his phone, and checking his text messages. He frowned, before looking at Athena. "Ugh, I gotta go Athena, there's an emergency at the house..." He stated to her.

Athena laughed some and looked at him. "She would. She is where I get my bite from." She smirked lightly and watched him pull out his phone, his expression went to more of the frowning type. She listened and nodded. "Oh alright." She said and she got up, leading him to the door, she opened it for him. "Text me this time Noel. Have to let me know what is going on.. Whether we are still going to the Awards thingie still and when I have to be ready by..." She paused. "I hope things will be okay for you." She said with a nod of her head.

Noel stuck his tongue out at her as she stood by the door with him, telling him to text her the details of the Awards show tomorrow night. "Yeah, yeah, I will." Noel explained, placing his hand on her face, and pushing her away gently. Noel chuckled nervously. "Yeah, I hope so too." He mumbled, shoving his hands into his pockets, and turning around, walking out the door, and down the sidewalk. "Bye, Mrs.Independent." He shouted behind him, walking down the street.

Athena frowned as he put his hand on her face and pushed her away. she wanted to scream at him at how uncalled for that was, but she was silently frowning. She grunted lightly and pushed hair out of her face. 'You better text!" She yelled after him and then waved, smiling when he said bye Mrs. Independent. She closed the door and went to her mother, scolding her for the embarrassment. Athena eventually found herself going to sleep on the couch when she was reading about couple hours after he left. She put her phone on loud that way if anyone texted or called it would wake her.

When Noe got close to home his mom called him. "Go check up on your brother, please Noel." She said through the phone. "Yeah, I already know, I'm on my way home." he replied, walking towards his front door. "Alright. Good. Thank you Noel. Tell him his appointment is in two weeks." "Alright. Love you. Bye." Noel opened the door, and locked it behind him, before walking down the hallway towards his brothers room. "Hey Jude... feeling alright?" He asked, sticking his head into tthe crack in the door. His thirteen year old brother was lying in bed, hooked up to a small monitor. He was watching Spongebob Squarepants, while playing on his Nintendo. "Sup." He said happily, looking up at Noel. Noel grinned, walking in, and sitting on his bed. "Nothing. Tired... you feelin' alright?" He asked. Jude nodded. "Yeah fine. I'm all clean so far. Go take a nap, I'm tryna play pokemon." Jude said impatiently, shooing him away. Noel rolled his eyes, and stood up off his bed. "Fine, bye. Love youuuu." He sang, skipping out the room before walking down the long hall way and upstairs towards his own room.
He flopped onto his bed, before he pulled his phone out, dialing Athena's number.

She was woken by the sound of her phone. She fell off the couch and groaned out some. "What... The... F..." She stopped herself, she groaned out again, in a little bit of pain from the sudden fall. She grabbed her phone and looked at it. She was hesitant about it but she answered. She let out a light grunt as she sat up. "Hello?" She asked into the phone, she blinked slowly trying to make everything come into focus. She slowly got to her feet and climbed back onto the couch.
Her mother came out in a rush. "Athena are you alright?! I heard a loud thud!" Her mother exclaimed being loud.
Athena looked to her sleepily. "I am fine, just... Had an accident." She sounded sleepy and shooed her mother away that way Noel could speak.׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º× ♯♩♪♫♬♪♩♯ ׺°”˜`”°º× ׺°”˜`”°º×☆═━━━┈ღ♫ღ┈━━━═☆

Noel started laughing when he heard Athena's mom in the back ground, worrying if she was alright or not. "Hello?" She asked. Noel chuckled, hearing her sound so sleepy. She must've went to sleep when I left. "Yo, I have the details for the party little lady." He began, laying in his comfortable King sized bed. "It's tomorrow night , like I said before. It starts at nine, and it ends around 10:30. So, depending on how long you take to get ready is... the time you get ready. I'll be there around 8:45. Or whenever you're done. Um... what else... Oh!" He placed his phone on speaker, before continuing to talk. "Basically, I'm wearing a suit, so you should wear a dress. I think it's a white tie event, whatever they call em. Uh... I don't think I'm missing anything." He mumbled on.

Athena rubbed her eyes. "I will be ready by then, maybe a little earlier.." She said with a light yawn. "White tie event?" She questioned, for some reason she was having issues thinking because she was sleepy. She pushed up to her feet and made her way into the kitchen slowly, going through cabinets silently. "I was planning on wearing a dress anyways... Just saying." She said with a soft breath of air being released. She put the phone on speaker as she got herself something to eat, trying to be as quiet as possible while he would talk, she knew it would be rude to just rustle something loudly when on the phone with him. She stuck her tongue out a little and bit it as she was trying so hard not to make any noise.

He said simply, leaning back into his pillow. "I'm pretty tired... and you sound really sleepy. Should I call you back tomorrow?" He asked, the phone lying on the pillow, next to his head. He closed hi eyes, listening to all the static from the phone.

Athena nodded gently. "Alright.." She laughed lightly, she stopped what she was doing, literally freezing in place. "Um... Yeah. Call back tomorrow." She said then she smirked. "Good night and rest well, air head." She teased and quickly hung up before he got the chance to fit any goodbyes in. She smiled and then finally got some food. She ate, got ready for bed and went to bed early, the was looking forward to the awards thing to be honest.
