Ferros gave B0nez a thoughtful look, as if attempting to figure out what he was made of. "Doesn't your electricity risk your game?" he inquired. It was likely that the three of them would see more of one another if they were all here for the same thing, and it would be good if they weren't constantly at odds. He wasn't good at small talk, though. Tracey was better at chatting with other beings, but Tracey was taking a dislike to the ghost.

"Well, Saw-ree," B0nez sent Tracey a leering grin, starting the game back up, "Nah. It's more like, antennae or whatever. ...Where the Jack is my- s**t I didn't save it."

Tracey's death glare twisted into a self satisfied smirk, he knew little about technology, but he did know that turning off a game usually meant some manner of strife for the player.
"What a pity."

Ferros turned his head to look up at Tracey. He didn't know a great deal about video games either, his fingers being rather too big to work buttons easily, but he knew that not saving was bad. He could easily guess that Tracey had done that on purpose. He kept quiet.

"Ahhhhh, come on, you gotta be kidding me-"
B0nez swooped down, annoyed, to open and look inside with the letter box the human had indicated earlier, "You guys got any other games? How long are we supposed to stay in here, anyhow? When are we going to get to the good stuff?"

Tracey didn't drop the self satisfied smile as Ferros looked up at him, he felt like he'd righted a great injustice.
Nacht spoke up. "We can proceed whenever you like most likely, provided our human friend has set things up." Knowing Matt, he thought, you could never be sure. He figured at this point he had a decent handle on their respective dynamics. The big quiet one would have to be first, he appeared trusting but only to an extent, the angel seemed to hang off his every word, and had never shut up about him in Halloween. The ghost kid was practically a certainty regardless.
"I will go and check up on him." he said with a smile, bowing out of the room to go inform Matt.

When Nate arrived at the conversion room, Matt looked up from the control panel with a smug grin. "Got away already? I was sure the clingy one was gonna have you pinned down for another good half-hour. 'Nova said 45 minutes, though, so she owes me a good dream. The chamber's ready whenever. Got the paperwork all laid out for when they're done, too, just gotta fill in the relevant details after it's done."

Nate gave Matt an irritable look, crossing his arms. "Yes, well you underestimate my negotiating capabilities, just as you underestimate so much else about me." Eyeing the paperwork he added "The big guy first. If you do anyone else first, he'll back out probably and we'll have a problem with a capital P on our hands. Do the ghost last, he's keen." Stepping away from the paperwork, he rolled his eyes at the mention of a good dream, sometimes he was jealous, nothing Ixith did was ever much pleasant.
He hurriedly returned his thoughts to the task at hand with perhaps a little too much jumpiness at the sibilant hiss of her voice. "So! Set to go. I'll go tell the subjects. I need to get out of this golem as soon as possible.." He set off back down the hall, perhaps a little faster than he might have otherwise intended. He hadn't even noticed the weapon was awake all this time. Not... Not that that was a bad thing, of course.
<Good hatchling.>
Wiping the look of disgust and worry off his face, he smiled sweetly as he entered the room. "Good news! Matt says everything is ready for the power infusion. If you would all like to step this way, we will get you organised."

Ferros looked up and stood, offering his hand to help Tracey up. Truthfully, he was relieved that they could get out of the room; the atmosphere in here had gotten tense and very unpleasant. "I am ready," he agreed.

Tracey took Ferros' hand with a quietly grateful smile, he was excited but at the same time edged with a low edge of anxiousness. He pushed it away, all great power came with risks, it was the name of the game, the world was made up of people with power and those too scared to reach for it. With Ferros by his side, he wasn't afraid, the dragon was all the stability he needed. "Yes. Lets go."

Ferros kept Tracey's hand, his grip delicate but solid; if Nacht objected, he could object. He followed the other demon, making sure to duck carefully under the doorframes they passed through. It would be rude to break anything when they were about to be initiated into power.
He gave B0nez one thoughtful, searching look before they all left the room, but no more. The ghost would be working with them now, indirectly if not directly. With time and familiarity, he was sure, they'd learn to interact more smoothly.
---
In the conversion room, Matt waited behind the control panel. Lights flickered in a steady pattern, casting a weird glow across the human's face. He was busy with filling out three sets of forms, his spiky lettering crawling across the pages, eyes intent behind his glasses as he checked information from folders and screens. As the students entered the room, he glanced up with a cheerful grin that held a slightly manic edge. "All set," he said.
The chamber across the room stood lit and open. The display beside its door blinked steadily. AUTHORIZATION CODE ACCEPTED. STATUS: READY.
