pdragon619 (allright these are the profiles for the other two children of Benten and Ayaka. These are meant to be Frosty's characters, but she's been MIA for a while now, and I can't just write them out of the rp. So if she doesn't come back I guess I'll be using them as well.)   Hotei Yoshi
Name: Hotei Yoshi
Age: 16
Race: Soul Oni: A halfbreed between a Frost Oni and a Soul Eater, gaining both races strengths while loosing some of the weaknesses. From the Oni they gain increased strength, affinity to ice, and increased alchohol tolerance. From the soul eater they retain the ability to manipulate soul fire as well as devour souls for energy. However unlike Frost Oni they can withstand high temperatures just fine, and they do not need to devour souls in order to survive, and have less side effects from doing so such as they do not change form or take personality shifts
Powers: Hotei excels greatly in the use of her family's saki based "golden mist" techniques, and has even expanded upon it to make it her own. She is also able to use ice manipulations and soul fire techniques, though isn't as good at it. Like her father she has insane physical strength, and prefers to go in with brute force when fighting.
Additional Abilities: Hotei has an incredibly high tolerance for alcohol, and her skills in battle actually increase when she drinks, utilizing the "drunken fist style" so to speak.
Personality: Hotei for the most part is very sweet and carefree, easily the most laid back and mellow of the three sisters. When she drinks however she becomes allot more brash and uninhibited. However she tends to shift moods when she's drunk, going from touchy giggly drunk to angry drunk very quickly. Her short temper when she drinks, which is most of the time, causes her to get into fights alot more frequently than the others.
Likes: cherry wine (her favorite beverage), her sisters, saki, her loving parents (especially Benten), her pet Benki, other alcoholic beverages, dumplings
Dislikes: being sober for too long, hang overs, people hurting/insulting her family, people who are to high strung.
Bio: Hotei is the daughter of Benten and Ayaka Yoshi, and technically the middle child of the "Yoshi triplets". Of the three sisters Hotei holds the closest resemblance to Benten in both appearance and attitude. However she does get her vibrant eyes from Ayaka, and they tend to change color based on her mood. She is a boneified daddy's girl, and since she was young tended to cling onto Benten like a magnet. She was raised along side Maika and Kirin by their parents, constantly doted on by their father who had all ways wanted kids of his own and thought the world of his daughters. Due to the success of Benten's company "Frosted Oni: fine wines and spirits" they were able to live a comfortable and peaceful life. Hotei in particular acquired a "taste" for the family business, and is outclassed only by Benten in drinking ability. Despite being able to cover up their supernatural traits with disguises Benten and Ayaka insisted the three attend the school where they first met, YMHS, so the three sisters were set out once they graduated middle school. Hotei plans to meet someone nice and settle down quickly like Benten did, figuring that since it worked so well for her parents that it must be the key to having a happy life, and hopefully taking over the family business when she gets older.
Extra: Hotei's name is based off of one of the seven deities of luck, much like Benten's.
Much like Benten Hotei carries a gourd around everywhere she goes. However its considerably smaller and full of cherry wine instead of Saki.
Hotei has a pet cherry mouse named Benki that likes to ride around in her considerably large cleavage.
When she set off for higschool Benten gave her his old coat as a gift, she considers it her most prized possession and wears it everywhere.
 Kirin Yoshi
Name: Kirin Yoshi (Uni)
Age: 16

Powers: Of the three sisters Kirin has the greatest physical strength and agility. Her physical strength is on par with that of a full blooded oni's and her speed is considerable as well. She is able to use both soul fire and ice abilities, and incorporates both into her hand to hand fighting style, as well as combined them to make steam attacks. She can also use saki based techniques, but she prefers not to, though she does keep a canteen of saki on hand just in case.
Additional Abilities: Kirin fights mostly with hand to hand, however unlike her sister she fights using grace and agility, taking influences from taichi, kung fu, as well as her own natural powers to create an unique and fluid fighting style. She also was born with something called photographic reflexes, which means she can perform almost any physical action after only seeing it performed once or twice, this allows her to train and learn new moves incredibly fast, as well as learn her opponent's move and mimic or effectively counter them.
Personality: Kirin is very bright and bubbly. She's easily the peppiest and most happy go lucky of the group. She loves to train and work out and be outdoors, which got her in trouble when she was a kid for all ways sneaking out of the house. She's at the same time the girliest member of the three siblings, while still managing to be a major tom boy. Kirin loves her parents very much, but is highly independent so she can get a bit annoyed with how doting they are, unlike Hotei who practically lives off of their father's attention. She can come off as a bit air headed sometimes, but is actually scarily observant, having a near photographic memory.
Likes: training, fighting, running, sweets (needs the extra energy to train more), drinking (not as much as Hotei or Benten), her sisters, her parents.
[Dislikes: standing still for to long, stopping something before she gets tired, her sisters treating her like a baby, being teased for her one horn.
Bio: Kirin is the daughter of Benten and Ayaka Yoshi, and technically the youngest child of the "Yoshi triplets". Because of this she was considered the baby of the family until their little sister Aya was born. She takes most of her looks from Benten, but her soul eater and oni sides are pretty balanced, meaning she doesn't lean to far either way appearance wise. She was however born with only a single horn, and for this reason she was nicknamed Uni, short for unicorn. She hates this nickname though as Hotei used to tease her about it, and even with her cracked and crumbled horns Maika could allways claim that having two still counted for more than just having one. She was raised along side Maika and Kirin by their parents, constantly doted on by their father who had all ways wanted kids of his own and thought the world of his daughters. Extra: Kirin is named after the mythical one horned beast from Japanese mythology...because of her single horn ofcourse.
When she entered YMHS Benten bought her a small fan that allows her to build up powerful gusts of wind by fanning it. She uses this memento as a hair ornament when not using it for its intended purposes.

Name: Fran Caine
Age:80
Race: Viera : The viera have rabbit-like features, including long ears and supple limbs. They generally wear stilettos, possibly due to the shape of their feet, although there have been exceptions. Their trademark long ears grant them exceptionally good hearing, although they are said to have excellent senses overall. The viera are sensitive to Mist (just regular mist like we see when its cold)--if they are exposed to high concentrations of Mist, they will go into a berserk state referred to as a Mist frenzy. When experiencing a Mist frenzy, a viera can literally tear apart metal shackles and kill armored humes with unarmed blows.
Powers: Is great at using Support Magic. Or as people call it White Magic. Fran also has natural powers due to being a Viera. With her ears they can hear. Although it is not meant for hearing from a great distance they are able to hear the voices of the spirits of the woods. Alongside with good hearing she is exceptional to excellent senses overall.
Personality: Fran rarely displays emotion openly, and the only time she is seen losing her temper is when she is in mist frenzy. Fran speaks in a calm tone with an accent, but rarely speaks to people she doesn't know. When offended, she will act expressionlessly cold. Fran's goals and dreams in life are largely shrouded in mystery, but it is known she left her homeland to live a life of freedom. Although Fran likes to keep her distance from others, she is loyal to her friends and appears to care deeply for her sisters back in her homeland . Fran displays happiness by way of a subtle smile in a few occasions and when she does it has to do with those close to her.

Bio: All that is known about Fran is that she left Eruyt Village over 50 years ago. She had no intentions on becoming a teacher at all. One day while traveling she was scouted by a scout from YMHS. She was offered the job of teaching Archery class. She refused the offers numerous times until finally she accepted. The scouters were a bit stunned to hear her finally accept her offer. What were her reasons? Only she knew. Fran joined them in traveling back to YMHS and now lives there as their Archery teacher.

Race: Avian
Powers: Feather Manipulation: Cielle, being based of a bird, is able to create a vast selection of different types of feathers, they vary in size and shape and can be used for offensive, defensive or everyday purposes. This is her main power
Air Magic: Cielle has learnt air magic, being able to summon gusts of wind, tornadoes and manipulate air as if it were a tangible thing. She uses this in conjuction with her wings to create powerful attacks. Her secondary power
Greater Healing: Cielle has healing properties which mostly come from her feathers. The level of its power can vary from medium to great. Her third and supportive power
Summons: Cielle is able to connect with the more spiritual side of her heritage and summon great bird or air spirits,gods or even demons. This however, is not without a sacrifice of life force and leaves Cielle drained or even unconcious for an undetermined period. She rarely uses this power and only in dire situations. Considered her "Ultimate power."
Additional Abilities: Obviously, she can fly and at great speeds too. She is a master when fighting with polearms, being her preferred weapon of choice although she is also eloquent in hand to hand combat.
Personality: Cielle, for the most part is incredibly active and wild, ready to party and go fast often being very tiring to others. Recently, she's become more confident and is a bit of a flirt at times, chatting up fellow teachers in a friendly manner as a way of making both parties feel better. She does however, like to take things calm and slow at times, mostly when she's relaxing with nothing to do but to read. During classes, she can seem unforgiving and scorn those who can't keep up but she's actually rather understanding and loose,knowing how to take a joke and keeping some of her motherly traits from a long time ago. (Only to the students she likes of course.) While being all enthusiastic and carefree, when things get serious or there's lives at risk, Cielle drops all this and becomes a serious and determined person, a lot more like a certain teacher and ready to defend the school. And also the nasty, sly part of her emerges.

Likes: Orochi, Chris, mostly everyone else, flying fast, spicy foods, good music. fancy weapons.
Dislikes: Uppity students, being weighed down, uneccesarily loud noises, lightning powers, depressing people, obstacles/people blocking her way, overly pervy people.
Bio:Cielle was one of the original students of YMHS, taking part and surviving in many of the major battles they had fought in although she was known to go disappearing for days on end randomly. (To study, some people would say.) She excelled more in intellect than fighting prowess, often combining the two and using her knowledge of physics and science to defeat her opponents (especially in elemental battles.) She once disappeared off to hone her fighting and magical skills as part of Avian tradition. In the end, she graduated by passing her exams although she came quite close in the tournament. During the years after she graduated, she joined Ashura and his crew, helping him in secret matters. She came back to the school as a teacher some years after.
Extra: She's a bit conflicted and confused at the moment about who she actually sees as a potential love interest and doesn't like discussing it.
A regular visitor and patron of Benten's company.

(Just gonna throw up some mini profiles for a few npcs. I'm not making full profiles for them because they're just side characters. Mostly updates on how some of my other old characters are doing)  Name: Medusa "the Obsidian Viper" Race: snake demon Age: well over a thousand Tier: Boss Bio: One of the four great snake generals and right hand to Orochi during and after his reign, Medusa has proven to be the most loyal and cunning of Orochi's servants. After Orochi's mind was sealed Medusa was forced to seperate from him, knowing that Alabaster had caught on to her identity and motives, and instead turned her attention to destroying Rina and acquiring one of the 7 jewels (believing their power could unseal Orochi and restore his memories). To accomplish these aims Grenga has recruited Christopher Rant, and has spent the last 17 years training him to be able to defeat Rina on his own. In that time she also had an illegitimate child by him from an earlier affair, and raised her in secret, turning her into another weapon at her disposal. Several months ago (as in prior to the start of season 2) she left Chris to his own devices as she set off to settle her own affairs elsewhere, and her current whereabouts are unknown.  Name: Ashura Race: Demon God of Madness Age: older than time Tier: god Bio: The eccentric and mysterious god whose domain resides over all that is crazy and insane. Ashura is a "man" of questionable sanity and even more questionable motives. He rarely looks at things from a moral standpoint, committing horrible atrocities just as naturally as displays of kindness. The side he takes on any issue is first decided by whether or not it conflicts with his standing interests, and secondly by whether which side would prove the most entertaining. He plays the jokester most of the time, but this simply masks the very real danger he poses to all who encounter him. For the most part people are safe so long as he doesn't need them to die for one of his insane plans, though he does toy with people's mental health on a whim, and very much enjoys seeing people driven insane. His two known goals so far are finding and destroying Rina for reasons yet unclear, and building up the world's defenses in preparation for some inevitable catastrophe. In these ways he can be seen as a hero, though that is in spite of his skewed moral compass not proof that he has a good one.  Name: Kyurem Race: Zombie Age: late 30's (forever 18 ) Tier: advanced Bio: Kyurem was once a young samurai who fought on behalf of his small village, but was resurrected as a Zombie after being run through with a large sword in the middle of a battle. Formerly bound to Tryton's service Kyurem now serves under Ashura alongside Alice. Having learned of the history of the great threat that looms over the world Kyurem is staunchly dedicated to Ashura's cause, though has a somewhat shaky view on Ashura himself. He doesn't hate him really, unlike his former boss Tryton who he loathed with his very being, but he certainly doesn't trust him, knowing that one should never trust someone called "The Demon God of Madness".  Name: Benten Yoshi Race: Frost Oni Age: 35 Tier: Advanced Bio: A charismatic Frost Oni born in a mountain top village in japan. He was the first of his village to come down to receive proper schooling, and there at YMHS he met the love of his life, Ayaka Chiyo. Though their relationship was rocky, most in part due to Ayaka's personality shifting with whatever souls she ate, they never gave up on each other and got married shortly after Benten graduated by winning the yearly tournament. For a time they stayed back at Benten's old village while he pursued his dream of starting his own saki and other alcohol brewery. A year later Benten's dream became a reality when he opened his first bar "The Frosted Oni" which became such a huge success he was able to start his own company "Frosted Oni: fine wines and spirits" which began mass producing and distributing his various alcoholic creations, including his villages specialty saki. With his dream of becoming a wine maker realized he moved on to achieving his dream of making a family. With the money his company made Benten was able to move him and now pregnant Ayaka into a large estate and the two settled down to raise their three children Maika, Hotei, and Kirin. several years later Ayaka gave birth to their 4th daughter Aya, and is currently pregnant with a boy who they have yet to name. Benten spends his days managing the company and spending time with his wife and kids, and from time to time he bartends at his original frosted oni bar, located in the same city as YMHS. It has become quite a popular spot for some of the...rowdier teachers and staff. Also since his job requires him to do alot of dealing in the human world, Benten has opted to simply file down his horns instead of using a disguise.  Name: Aya Yoshi Race: Soul Oni Age: 9 Tier: normal Bio: The 4th and youngest child of Benten and Ayaka Yoshi. Aya is considered the baby of the family, and was allways doted on by both her parents and her younger sisters. Remarkably despite this overly nuturing environment she didn't turn out bratty or spoiled, though does come off as shy and introverted at times. She is a quiet child who likes to spend time alone in her room when possible. Her parents worry a little, but she doesn't seem at all unhappy. However despite being shy she is scarily strong. So far she has proven to allready match Maika in strength despite her young age, and shows alot of potential though she doesn't train often. Her name is obviously based off of Ayaka's, one that Benten fought particularly hard to get atleast one of his children named.

Nickname: Mel
Age: Unknown. Seems 9 from look. But is way older than that. Yes a new Plus guys...
Powers: Unknown to many as of now, but he holds a cat named Grengar. The cat is a mystery, and all that is known of it is that it can use abilites to aid Melvin. Melvin can help himself by using the green jewel to help him since his body is physically unable to control his own powers at the moment. The only other powers he can control is controlling the cat and levitation. His other abilites consists of screeching which causes his enemies to fly away, like the cat, Grengar, and causing items to explode with touches of his finger. His other powers haven't developed since he is so young at the moment.
Abilities: Grengar is able to turn ferociously evil and increase in size. It attacks by attacking with it's nails, teeth, much like a lion. The cat has a state where it can go crazy and roar, sending a huge shock of a green light throughout it's surroundings to send enemies flying away. The green jewel Melvin uses is able to use short distant attacks. The attacks that he uses with them are simple such as creating spikes in the area around him, or levitating his surroundings and hurling it at his enemies.
Jewel thy possess: Wields the Green Jewel
Personality: Melvin is the whiny brat of the seven blindfolds. He tends to be a bit momma's boyish since his mother did nurture him as one of her favorites. He tries to be the baby and innocent to his brothers and sisters, but usually gets into arguments and fights with Lazuli. He doesn't like it when things go his way, and usually either cries or gets Grengar to cause his way to be made. He tends to get distracted a lot when he's curious about things. He's not really threatening most of the time, but when he is, his 'other self' comes up. It's more of a split personality that causes him to act an evil way. He's unsure why he recieved that way, but Tryton and the rest of the blindsfolds seems to know. They balance his crazy with being nice to him all the time, but Lazuli refuses to tend to the immature brat of the family.
Likes: Candy, Grengar, being the youngest, anyone that will treat him nicely, shiny things, and games
Dislikes: People that attack him or his family, people that don't treat him nicely, Lazuli, people who doesn't play games with him, not getting his way, and being thumped on the forehead.
Bio: Melvin is the youngest of Tryton's children. He loves being the youngest and tends to be childish although he is older than he looks. As a child, his mother, who is unknown to many, nurtured him and treated him the best out of all her children. The reason of this was because Melvin originally didn't have any intention or sign of being evil and crazy like the rest of the children. He seemed to have potential at actually being a good and normal child. Melvin never really wanted to be crazy and insane, but until Tryton gave him a new pet, he seemed to change. It was as if the boy fell in love with the cat so much, he decided to change after all. Melvin's mom grew angry at the fact that Melvin was changing into a mirror image of Tryton's young self. She tried to stop Melvin, but in result he ended up killing her. He slaughtered her and didn't realize it. It was as if he changed into someone else. Tryton didn't seem to grieve over the mother of his children's demise, and immediately started babying Melvin much like his mother did. Soon Melvin started allowing his split personality to come out more often and soon it was as if the little boy was lost inside. He goes back and forth many of the times, but in order to cause it to come out of him, people baby him.
