"Ja. Or even worse, both! Yeh'll be left tied here with the wrong idea on yehr mind the whole times, until someone else comes along and finds yeh sportings yehr wrong idea. So be good!" She laughed, clearly not actually mad at all with him, and enjoying every minute. She stayed in his arms longer than she meant to, soaking in the warmth of his hug. It was so ridiculously cute, the mere idea that he missed her just from being several feet away, locked behind a curtain for a few minutes. Sickeningly cute, perhaps. It made her melt.

She touched the tip of his nose with her fingertip, and smiled a goofy smile. "Is okay." She whispered. "I only has a few more teh goes. Then I am yehrs."

"Anything but that," he retorted softly with a chuckle, "what if someone comes by and takes me away?"

Granted they might pay Freya to take him back after a day or two but the threat was still there playfully lingering under the guise of a 'what if' that will never occur.

He let her touch his nose and he just quietly smiled a bit, "Well, alright," he said softly as he gave her a small brief squeeze and eventually let her go so she could get up.

Freya hopped off his lap and patted him on the head, before heading back in and closing the curtain. "So did yeh likes the owl shirt at least?" Not that she even needed his opinion on that one. Any and all owl shirts would always be hers for the taking, as she had a rather extensive collection already and would be supplementing it with this one as soon as she got home.

She really was almost out of outfits to try on, though. She picked out another nice, dressy outfit, slipping it on and making sure everything was settled correctly before opening the curtain.

"This ones maybe, for dancings? Or.." She hiked up the top a little. "Maybe not dancings." She didn't know how well her body could hold onto the dress. She wasn't as voluptuous as she used to be.

"Yeah! I like the colors and stuff." He liked the head pats, those were nice he let out a small happy sound and he just simply waited for the next outfit to appear from behind the curtain.

He stared at the dress critically, "Dunno, depends on the type of dancin' y'want to do. It doesn't look like a very flexible dress," it looked okay on her but it wasn't as effective as that one dress where he pretty much groped Freya on sight.

She looked surprised. Kettil's opinion was honest, and super helpful. Her lips tore open in a huge smile, which was odd considering there was no compliments to the dress or her this time, and she bit her tongue between her teeth.

"This is so much FUNS." She squealed out of nowhere, and then slid the curtain closed to take the dress off. It was flung over the edge, completely abandoned. There was one more dress she was not buying, thanks to Kettil!

"Okays." She murmured through the sound of clothing ruffling. "This outfits is for schools, and is kind of trendy. So I likes it, but is a little risky teh shows yeh, because yeh has teh knows teh latest in ghoul's trends teh knows if it's good or not. Still, I wants yehr opinions anyway."

She pulled away, wearing an outfit she'd never worn before. She tugged at the bowtie nervously. "I don't knows if I like this parts.. but it is very stylish."

Kettil blinked at her reaction and then followed it up with laughter it was always a new experience with Freya thanks to her reactions to various things, he certainly was never bored with her around - not truly.

"It is fun," he agreed in a cheerful tone and then he waited for her next outfit to become unveiled before him. He seemed thoughtful as he shifted up to stand up and approach her reaching up to tug gently at the bowtie, it certainly wasn't something he pictured her in but...

He gently tugged her closer by the tie, he didn't want to choke her, and kissed her lightly on the lips, "...This outfit has some uses," he grinned as he pulled away.

Freya didn't know what to think when he stood up again. Was she going to have to tie him down, after all? She followed his movements very carefully, but at first, it truly looked like he was just casing the outfit thoughtfully. That was so sweet of him. He was trying so hard to really give her an honest opinion, and take his time to-

Eyelids fluttered and half-lidded when he kissed her, and her brain stopped thinking for a moment. It was so hard to think, around Kettil, now. He inspired so much within her that had nothing to do with her brain. She fell into a hazy, distracted moment, and her lips turned up in a very small, but still silly looking smile. When he pulled away, she tugged him back by his vest, and kept him at kissing range, without actually kissing him. Just feeling him that close was enough.

"I likes yeh." Freya whispered childishly, as if admitting a schoolghoul crush. "I wants teh keeps yeh." Her fingers wrapped around a dread, and tugged on it playfully.

He was tugged back and he didn't fight it, he leaned toward her again and grinned a bit down at her, "I like you, too," he replied softly as he pressed his forehead against hers. "You can keep me for as long as you like."

To be honest it was getting more and more difficult to see a day without being this close to Freya. Each moment they spent together just further kept him planted to her side no matter what may come and ideally he wanted this to go on for as long as possible.

His hands reached up to gently cup her face, his thumbs trailed over her cheeks, "Y'know," he said softly as he recalled her earlier pause over the word that 'labeled' their relationship to each other, "y'can call me whatever y'want, don't gotta be call me yer boilfriend," he reminded her. For all he cared they could make up their own terms. "I'll be whatever you want me to be, I'm yours."

That sounded nice. In fact, it sounded just about perfect. She was leaning her head up to seal the offer with a kiss, when his hands took her face and his soft voice breathed against her skin. The words were important enough to keep her focused, despite how easy it felt to fall into a haze again.

"Is not that I don't wants teh calls yeh my boilfriend." Her brows knit in concern. "Is just.. feels almost less important than callings yeh my best friend. Hooter, yeh don't knows how important yeh really are in my life. And yeh've always been that important. Yeh saves me from myself."

One of her hands reached up and pressed against the one on her right cheek. "Boilfriend just sounds silly. It doesn't cut it. Yehr a lot more than just my boilfriend. Yeh always were."

He returned the kiss sweetly and without any hesitation just a quiet lingering touch of his lips to hers and then he just stood there listening to her words as they spilled out and gradually his face lit with understanding. So, Freya felt that the terms 'boilfriend' and 'ghoulfriend' didn't encompass everything they meant to each other and to be honest he could understand that. Even when they had decided that they would pursue this side of their relationship...It seemed almost lacking and childish.

"You're more than just my ghoulfriend," he agreed back at her smiling a bit, "s'why my people that word I spoke of earlier. It encompasses so much more and shows the trust we have in the other person, more than just simple boilfriend or ghoulfriend because they lift us up and make us be more than what we are," he fell into a thoughtful silence.

This sort of thing seemed to take more serious consideration than he thought, even if his people's terms were adequate enough...

"Do we really need a label?" He asked curiously.

Kettil's understanding of how she felt overwhelmed her. It didn't surprise her - he always understood - but it filled her with so much glorious emotion that she was pretty sure she was about to burst.

But it was his question that saved her, and she blinked for a moment, before leaning one arm away. It reached as far as it could, until it grabbed the first piece of clothing she could touch. She pulled it back - it was the owl shirt, funny enough, and fiddled with the collar. She held the collar up to him, until only her eyes peeked out over it.

The label on the collar had the name of the store written on it. Forever Six Feet Under.

She covered the last three words with her finger.

Kettil stared at the uncovered word and then stared at her. It was so easy to give up on the term 'forever', everything it meant and implied he was hard pressed to say he could promise her a 'forever' with him and yet he could. Even if they weren't together as a couple he would still be by her side and fight for her, no matter where life took them.

There was a break in this thought. No, he couldn't think like that, if they both meant it then...

"Newák'a, forever is only possible if we both work toward it, if you're willin' then I am willin'," he said softly with a small smile, "I'd love a forever with you." His heart felt as if it was about to burst from his chest or at least claw its way out through his throat. He suddenly felt nervous, what if he had said the wrong thing?

Hearing it for the first time spoken in a way that was clearly meant for her, and only her, made Freya realize that she liked being called his wing. She kept the shirt held in front of her face, hiding her expression and the blooming rush of color in her skin. But she knew that was how she felt, because she'd known it even before they'd begun dating. Even when she was in love with another man, Freya knew she needed Kettil there by her side. It was more than some infatuated notion of love and romance. She crumbled without him. She lost her way.

Freya just wasn't Freya unless she had Kettil in her life.

She was grinning, underneath the shirt. But he couldn't see it. Because Freya was herself, at that very moment, in front of him. And part of that meant she was being a brat.

Kettil just stared at her as she hid her face from him and his eyebrow rose. She was either playing with him as usual or he'd upset her unintentionally but oddly enough he didn't feel the need to apologize and so ne didn't fall all over himself to do so. It was funny how one moment they could be having a serious conversation about their relationship one moment and then the next moment it turned into play and banter.

His head ducked down to try and peer at her, "Now I know y'ain't hidin' from me," he teased with a small grin trying to tug the shirt away from her face, he'd decided to play with her instead of being worried and taking offense.

Sometimes the boil learned. Sometimes.

As soon as he pulled the shirt down, it fell to the ground, and Freya jumped up enough to capture his lips in a kiss. It was difficult, as she was still grinning like a child, but she managed. Her arms wrapped around his shoulders to pull him down to her level, and there she told him volumes of how she felt about what he'd said. It was long, and simple, and sweet. Somehow, it was even a little shy. But when she finally pulled away, her eyes fluttered for a moment before looking up at the boil and parting her lips to tell him-

"Eh-hem."

Down the corridor, the attendant had finally come to check on them, and found that they weren't really trying on clothes much at all anymore.
