Nelo777Neko Hi, still cleaning up after Sandy here : so no time to torture cats and humiliate them by stuffing them in shameful get ups lol .... But here's a snap shot of Meepers by my grandma's fall harvest of various squashes. She was actually hanging there to harass my cousin's dog at the bottom of the stairs. Its beautiful! emotion_kirakira I love the lighting in it. It makes it seem so dark and so pretty. :3 Definently a good pic. Sorry about Sandy hitting you. D: Do you fare better than some or were you in the brute force of it?

Still not entirely sure of what he was doing in this picture. xd I got a super cute one of him a second later, if only it had a better background: I'll see if I can get a more fall-related picture soon smile

D: Do you fare better than some or were you in the brute force of it? Nah, I was actually pretty well off. I just had like a inch of flood water in the basement. Still have hot water and electricity. Everything is drying and airing out atm. Other people I know on the other hand weren't so lucky, that's why I'm bordering my relative's pom-chi in the basement. Notice the lack of a collar on Meepers...she figured out how to remove them with her back paws. No collars have ever stayed on more then a hour now. Maki had a collar on for 13 years....apparently old cats can learn new tricks from younger cats....... cat_stare So neither one of them have collars now. I'm considering getting them micro-chipped.

Are they allowed to go outside?
-I think all cats should have some kind of form of perma-identification (tattoo or chip), just in case, but moreso for ones that actually do go outisde since they're at greater risk of something happening.

Nope but Maki the tortie does escape every Blue Moon. ( Found out she camouflages perfectly with garden soil..... Lost her for a day and kept checking the backyard from the window. It took a few tries before I noticed a suspicious moving patch of soil.) Meepers hasn't ever tried to run out yet.

Sadly, I have no chance of getting any pictures of Frodo before the 15th. On the bright side, I did pet a calico that could probably work. She was skittish yet so sweet. I probably would have considered taking her in if it weren't for A) College, and B) I'm pretty sure that my mom doesn't want to watch anymore cats while I finish college. She already is taking care of Frodo, her own kitten, and my sister's cat.

Thank you cat_blaugh
I was trying to get his entire body in the picture, face included, but Orion just wouldn't stay put or look at the camera.

Natasha and Pepper are grateful for... each other! I could have said they were grateful to have a home instead of being strays/ferals... but really, it was pure luck that Pepper found her way to us, pure luck that she allowed me to befriend her, and pure luck that Natasha ended up getting along with an unspayed female (she is spayed now). So all in all, I think they're grateful to have one another. They did fight for a while and didn't quite get along, but now Natasha won't even eat her canned food without Pepper beside her, eating hers. And last night they were romping around together and playing, having a total blast. It brings me so much joy!

Minstrel is extremely thankful that he managed to find the one place in the house where the dog can't follow him. This is him sleeping in a blissfully dog-free under the couch moment.
