Just before standing up, Gene noticed a lot of...odd footprints. She gave them a quizical look, looked over to Roch, shook her head, and then continued to stay around for a bit, just to see how clean up went.

Could death grips be taught to non-zombies? Ow, Bells. Right where the trashcan had slammed its lid on him. "Yeah, voices," he answered the ghouls. "S-someone said my name . . . You too?" he directed to Alex with a thoughtful frown, a percent of the goosebumps returning to the back of his neck. Suddenly he was alright with the witch digging her nails into his arm; at least she wouldn't be pried off him so easily if something was lying in wait.
"Mrrr . . . S'not a prank. Knows full name somehow." Mort's shoulders tensed a little as he began to cast his gaze about, awaiting the familiar flash of white and gold. "Bad feels. Don't like fog, reminds've siege stuff. M-Maybe should go."
. . . Yeah, he didn't sound at all like he wanted to leave really, danger or not. Curiosity really did keep killing this cat.

Yin just...could not simply leave the booths. If there was something weird going on...maybe he would be useless, but just looking around he could see too many of his friends there. He could not leave them. Maybe if they just worked faster, got it all cleaned up faster, they could all leave. So he shook his head at leading the way. "No, but maybe...maybe you should leave. Try to find a teacher? I cannot just...walk away at the first hint of trouble." He had been accused of running away from his problems before, but...he was a year three now. He had to be responsible. He had to make his...his...mother...proud. Still he worked his way back towards where he thought the edge of the fog was as he picked up trash, in case the boil really did leave.

Riyo shook and kicked and screamed and banged against the can until she felt Deacon grab her. "Hurry!" She cried. Even with her constitution holding in her lunch was becoming harder and harder.
Then POP went the Riyo, and apparently she wasn't good enough for the trash can. The ghoul took a big gasp of air when the can decided to go after the trash instead of her, immediately clinging to the poor boil who had pulled her out. She might've smelled... A little sour.

"I- wait what? WAIT-" Ace yelped and threw his hand over his mouth as he tailed after Yin. "I wouldn't just 'walk away at the first hint of trouble,'" he said trying to pass as brave. Since Yin had no objections to picking up around the fog, Ace followed suit and crammed his hands in his pockets, just shifting trash under some dirt and behind taller blades of grass. "Wait so uh.. why do you like Cricket so much anyway? Is she nice? I've never met her, she must be really really nice or something."

The witch nodded at Amrita, not trusting herself to say much else. Afraid her voice would break and betray her intense fear of the fog (a fear she hadn't realized she'd even possessed), she did swivel around to look at Alexander. "The footprints aren't all that weird... Everyone left behind footprints... It mostly this um... Fog." Even saying the word was scary. But this was ridiculous! It was silly! It was foggy all the time around Amityville, there wasn't a thing to be afraid of. "It knew your full name?" Belladonna asked in a strained voice, her hands momentarily letting go of Mort. Then they clamped back down, a little higher. She didn't even know that information! Still, she thanked her lucky stars she hadn't heard the voices. That would have most likely sent the witch off running back to the safety of her dorm room. And while the offer to leave was highly tempting, the witch instead took a deep breath and waved at the air with one hand. "I am sure its just a trick of the mind. We've all had very long nights."After all! We're probably just hallucinating! No big deal, right?!

Somewhere in the general vicinity, A certain dragon had need napping for the past few hours, having pillaged the local villagers booths for loot. But now she stirred, realizing that the students had been roped into cleaning up the mess that was fright night, so got up to do just that.
There was plenty of trash around, so she bent up to pick a few papers off the ground to throw into a trash can. Except the trash can wanted something a bit bigger, and in a flash it had goggled up the ghoul as well.
There was some muffled protests as Poke's legs stuck out of the can, kicking franticly as she tried to dislodge herself from the bins grasp, and eventually she managed to pull herself out and then proceeded to kick the every loving crap out of the offending bin.

Deacon carefully kept hold of Riyo to keep her from falling over, relaxing when she clung to him for dear life and oh sweet Sally she smelled awful.
"Smells like, ah... We won't be the only one needing to go take a long shower." He tried to be kind about detaching himself from her, but his nose could only take so much rotten garbage smell, let alone at such a close vicinity.
-------
Yuki was wandering alongside Astra, seeming not too terribly bothered by the idea of helping clean up. The festivities had been fun, and helping get the grounds back to normal was alright by him.
He was a little disappointed to find that every one of the many token wrappers he found were carefully cleaned of their contents, though...

Yin knew what you were doing Ace. He knew and he purposefully moved over to pick up the trash, giving him an unimpressed glance that hopefully he could see in the fog. And then Yin's face went crimson. Someone...asking him about why he liked Nurse Cricket? Where should he start? How kind, caring, patient, wise, and amazing she was? How much knowledge was at her fingertips, the feeling of those fingertips passing over one's flesh, making it feel young again? "Yes she is," well, at least to him. Not everyone had the same opinion. And at least for the moment thoughts of her chased away the thoughts of the fog for him. "She is..." it looked entirely possible that he might pass out from blood rushing to his face. "She is..." could he just admit it to a stranger like this? Would that be okay? His voice completely cracked as he finally managed to finish his sentence. "She is adopting me." Yes, his knees did feel a bit week. Stay conscious, stay conscious.

Looking over to were Yuki was, she frowned as well, sad to see the boil unable to pick up a few extra tokens. But she then spotted more footprints on the ground which seemed to appear and dissapear at will..
"Yuki, do you see anything strange with those?" she pointed him towards the ground.

Shun heard his name again, though this time around, it was by a familiar voice. And it wasn't his full name. Still mildly weirded out from the previous call, he turned to see Junko not too far off. "Yes, Junko?" he asked, not sure what it was she wanted. Dusting his hands off a bit, he soon placed them into his pockets while walking over towards the Futakuchi onna.

Ace would never understand Yin's feelings for Cricket. Or probably any ghoul until he was a lot older. Well... probably not ever because he was not prepared for that. "oh.. OH.." he said with fake interest. "She's adopting you- can a staff member even do that?" he asked scratching the side of his face. Eventually he stopped moving the trash out of the way and just leaned against the side of a booth. "How long you known her?"

;O; y u do dis deacon?
Inch by gentle inch of being pushed away made Riyo's eyes grow wider and more pitiful. What happened to being comforted?! She almost got ate! Lip quivering, she held her arms out in an effort to get the boil to take her back, but even Riyo was having a hard time standing herself.
So she got frustrated and started taking her jacket off.

"Stupid jacking trashcans" Poke mumbled to herself, before she looked around, ears twitching. Was it her imagination, or was someone calling her?
It was strange, as she had never heard the voice in question. Her eyes narrows, a low growl rumbling in her throat. This reminded her very much of the weeks after the four clans...

Deacon actually felt bad when Riyo looked so sad by his actions. "Don't look at us like that... We can't help that you smell, now." He said, totally not trying to sound offensive but with those words in particular it was quite the gamble.
As she went about taking her jacket off, though, he stepped a little closer. "If you wrap it all up inside out, that should help." Then neither of them would have to deal with so much stench...
-------
Yuki squinted at the ground a little where Astra gestured, frowning in thought but shrugging a moment later. "I dunno, we've seen stranger things around here, haven't we?" Odd they might have been, they didn't raise any alarm for him.
The voice nearby, however, made the hair on the back of his neck stand on end.
"Did you hear that?" He asked the ghoul in a hurried whisper, wide eyes darting over to a dark booth about ten feet away.
It had called to him, and while he couldn't quite make out all of it - his surname was lost to him with his life - there was no mistake that the voice had been calling to him.
He shuddered lightly, gently putting a hand to Astra's back and trying to usher her away from that particular booth. "Can we go clean somewhere else? I want to go somewhere else."
