Bruce looked at Sakura and said, "Well before we leave I need to get this Flame Badge." He chuckled and put his fist up and said, "Just because your sick I won't hold back. You up for the challenge Sakura?"

"Hey I was born to battle pokemon, let's battle," Sakura replied smiling; her aunt on the other hand gave her a stern look.
"No battling pokemon in the house, go in the gym or outside, please," She scolded her nieces eagerness.
"Yes, 'mam," Sakura slowly walked outside and over to the gym with Bruce and Dylan close behind her.

As the 3 were walking over to the gym Bruce noticed that Sakura was limping a bit and sighed but then started to form a strategy to win and said, "Hmm so Hitmonchan, Feraligater and Magmar will be the 3 I choose." He entered the gym being regularly a 3 on 3 battle and stood at one end of the battlefield and said, "So what are the rules Sakura?"

"Its a special one on one battle at my gym, but we each get to pick our three pokemon that will fight," Sakura replied as she picked her three pokemon. Dylan watched closely from the viewing deck above Bruce and Sakura.

Bruce already had his 3 picked and thought said, "Alright I'm ready." Pyro chose his Hitmonchan and Feraligater and Magmar.

Sakura had her three pokeballs in her hand, in them held Ninetails, Flareon, and Typhlosion all level 90 pokemon. None of the three have ever been defeated not by anyone, but she was going to go easy so Bruce could get his badge from her.

simon had fanilly been fully rested , and pokemon all haeled , simon then haed to they gym to challeng they gym lader there, as simon walked with a simle on his face,radey for what evre come at him .

Bruce's pokemon were also all level 90 except for his Snorlax who he adopted, he looked at Sakura and said, "Now no holding back just because were friends." He threw out his Hitmonchan as his first pokemon.

Sakura sent out her ninetails as her first pokemon, he was the weaker 90 level pokemon out of the group, but was still strong enough to be undefeatable. She sighed and replied, "I won't go easy."
Dylan on the other hand knew she would just because he knew his sister had a crush on Bruce; Sakura made her first move ember, which made a very small amount of damage on Bruce's Hitmonchan.

Bruce told his Hitmonchan to do Close Combat, he wasn't holding anything back and it did a good amount of damage to it and said, "No holding back now." He smiled and gave a smile to her.

Sakura smiled slightly, but again she used another weaker move that only did one hp of damage. Dylan watched the battle in amazement, he was amazed at how his sister wasn't given the battle her all.

Bruce frowned a bit and knew if he messed up her pokemon she would fight then he used another Close Combat to the Ninetails and it left her with barely any HP and he said, "I won't hold back Sakura!"

Sakura didn't reply and used ember again, this time lowering Bruce's pokemon by 5 hp. Dylan replied, "Sakura, what is the matter? You use to never hold back against anyone."
Sakura shot him a quick look as Bruce made his move; she felt slightly dizzy, but she still did not say anything as she waited for Bruce's pokemon to make its attack.

Bruce's Hitmonchan finished off the Ninetails with a Thunder Punch and said, "Sakura, if your not going to battle then I forfeit." He looked at her with a stern face and said in a serious tone and said, "I know your better than this. I see the fighting spirit in there and your not giving it your all."

Sakura sighed then replied, "Alright I won't hold back." Her face had turned slightly pale but she sent out her Typhlosion, the strongest of the three, and her first move was Dynamic Punch. The attack move cut Hitmonchan's hp by a little over half; she sighed again and waited to see what his move was going to be as she replied jokingly, "I WAS going to save my best pokemon for last but whatever I'll use him now since you keep telling me to not hold back."
