Auva nosed over the next item requested, smiling lightly as she did so, the jingle of a bell tied into her hair the only sound. Chandra chuckled at that, part of her knew and accepted that Sonnet would love a son... and one day, she hoped to give him just that. Part of her wondered though if they would be doomed to all girls, well not exactly doomed.... maybe their last and youngest would be a boy? Of course by that point Sonnet would be very outnumbered, a thought that actually made Chandra smile even as they got closer to Carlisle and Auva. "Morning." She said, noting that the pair were already hard at work catologing their inventory. "I have a favour to ask," she started softly, walking over to her daughter and giving her an affectionate kiss that made her blush even as she returned it. "I would like all those travelling with us to be checked out, fit for travel and all that." She said added the last part quietly, "I want to be prepared for anything that might go wrong or anyone who might need some extra help before we go... for example, how exactly could we make things easier for Haki and Eden, or is it best to just go with the flow with both of them?" She took a breath, hoping she hadn't spoken too fast in her worry and excitment.
"Good evening." Sonnet moved over to hug Auva and give her a kiss on the cheek after greeting them and when her mother was done with her. Distracted by one of the concoctions near by, pulling a face as he sniffs at it. Giving Auva's bell a nudge making it jingle. Smiling at her, not knowing where she got it but loving it, loving hearing any sound coming from her. Knowing danger could find her that way now but so could help. Looking over at Carlisle and his mate. Carlisle glanced at Sonnet and nodded to his greeting, smiling at Chandra. "Greetings to you both." Letting them greet their daughter before his attention was on Chandra and what she was saying, only to smile very sure this was her idea and Sonnet was along because he was part of the everyone. "Very well, I can do that, we shall start with you." Lookign at Chandra, as she was here and the closest. Aware that Sonnet was chuckling at this, wondering if his guess was right.

"Oh?" Chandra blinked in surprise for a moment and then smiled, she actually hadn't considered herself in her quest to ensure everyone else was happy and ok, it was if she had been an afterthought even to herself. "Ok." She said softly, more than happy to let Carlisle do what he needed. "Eh.... how do... eh... you know?" She giggled tilting her head and looking much more youthful. Auva smiled as he bell was rung by her dad, and she flicked her head wing to make it ring again in response, a new version of 'hello' just for her Papa. When he pulled a face at the smell she laughed silently, her body moving even as she was careful not to make any sound. The slight vibrations in her body made her bell ring all the more.
Carlisle smirked, most finding it hard to believe him a parent let alone a great great grandparent. Though he like many in the herd felt his years more than looked them. "How do I know what?" Golden eyes shimering in amusement, a glowing white in the moonlight. One of the few that had joined the herd recently that was used to being about at night. Sonnet smiled at Auva and gave her another kiss on the heek for her hellp, only to look down at her and grin seeing her laughing, the bell tinkling. Yes he was going to love that bell. Peering over at Carlisle and Chandra, winking at Auva not sure what Chan was up to but it was amusing to watch.

Chandra looked a little lost at Carlisles words and soon realised she had been misintrepretted in her fumbling, she chuckled softly. "Sorry, I was trying to ask how we.... go about this." Blushes a little, giving Sonnet a slight glare, not at all amused by his obvious amusement at her current situation, though the anger disapated quickly and she just rolled her eyes at the pair. It was nice to hear that little bell jingle as Auva laughed, and Chandra knew that Sonnet would love it as well. Their silent baby... they had both wondered if they were to blame, a mute on Sonnets side of the family, and a stubborness that had caused her own mother to remain silent until she met Maion. Would Auva one day talk? She really hoped so.... Auva smiled at her Papa and then at Carlisle and then her mother, she wasn't sure what was going on but decided it was obviously funny.
Carlisle clearly found this even mor amusing, managing to keep his expression serene and professional though his eyes danced. "Not how you are thinking apparently, its simple enough. Would you walk to that pine tree over there and back again please." Not about to start poking and prodding unless there was a need too as most didn't like it. Sonnet leaned to whisper very softly in Auva's ear. "Mummy forgot that she was one of the us that she wanted to get a check up."

Auva looked up as Papa spoke, surprised by the words... Mummy forgot something? Really? She grinned widely at that, liking that her mother wasn't perfect that she made mistakes too, though she supposed this just spoke volumes about her mother... always caring for everyone else over herself, always pushing herself past her limits when she would have told another to back off and stop hours before. Auva may not have ever said but she was proud of her parents. Both of them. Nodding she smiled at her Papa and leaned on him for a moment before wathing Mummy walk. Chandra blushed a little more and looked down at her hooves. Ok... so this was totally out of her comfort zone, still she perked up and did as she was asked, willing to accept the expertise of another in this. Chandra could likely beat Carlisle when it came to babies and midwivery, but that was it, the healer was generally good at everything. Of course, she would welcome his aid in delivering the babies if it was needed... and Eden agreed. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that. She took a nice slow walk, her hips swaying naturally from side to side. Soon she was back and smiled at the group, more than aware that they found this highly entertaining.
Sonnet let Auva lean against him, his wing draped over her, holding her gently, his eyes on his mate though unlike the healer his were warm and appreciative of his mates physical beauty. Not that he didn't think Carlisle could aprpeciate such thigns but the stallion was ever the profesisonal and even more so when it came to the mates of others. This was something Sonnet could appreciate. Carlisle watched her walk, his eyes asessing the movement, the fluidity, looking for any signs of discomfort. "Do you have discomfort anywhere? Any tight feelings in your muscles, joint pain?" Moving closer, tugging the stethiscope from around his neck, he would need help to get it on but once it was on he would leave it there till he was finished as it was a big help. He had no idea how the twoleggers had made such a thing but it increased his hearing greatly.

Auva snuggled into her Papa, quite happy to be in the warmth of his wings, suddenly she was wondering if she would have to walk like that in front of Carlisle... and the thought made he blush so brightly that she tucked her nose behind her father's wing.... oh no... what was happening? Why did she suddenly care what Carlisle thought... especially since she had been drawn to the sway of her mothers hips... did she walk like that? She cringed at the thought, suddenly hoping that the earth would swallow her whole. Chandra thought about it and shook her head, "No.... I don't feel any pain." Looks at the strange device, curious what it was but didn't commented. "I feel fine... more than fine, I feel great." She said softly. Her eyes darting to her mate and winking at him.
Sonnet smiled and winked back at his mate. Glancing down as Auva hid under his wing. She hadn't done that in a long time, but putting it down to nerves about leaving and embarassment about having a physical. Helping Carlisle with the strange device when asked though he was slow as Carlisle gave instructions as he went. Nodding Carlisle went over to Sonnet and the hiding Auva, the stethisope in place he walked back to Chandra, catching it carefully in his teeth and placing it on her chest, holding it in place with his nose, listening, then moving it listening again. "Deep breath in please and hold it." More listening. "Let it out slowly." Listening. "In again deeply thne breathe normally." Nodding after all this, looking in her ears and eyes getting her to open her mouth and say Ahh. Umming to himself as he works.

Chandra followed each instruction, wondering how the rest of the herd would react to this, but she knew she would never ask someone to do something she wouldn't do herself... though part of her wondered how Haki would handle this? "Do you think it's possible to do a check on Haki without touching him?" She asked after closing her mouth and flexing her jaw slightly, her eyes wandering to Auva as she wondered if the mare would ever find someone to cherish her the same way Haki doted on Heze... she hoped so. She smiled sweetly at that hope before returning her attention to Carlisle and falling serious. "So doc.... everything ok?" She teased softly, though she was actually a little nervous that it wouldn't be.
Auva didn't move or react, especially when Carlisle came closer.... please don't look... please don't look... was all she could think deseperatly.
Carlisle smiles with a general wampth at Chandra and nods. "It is more difficult but possible yes. And you are perfectly healthy." Looking over at Sonnet. "Next?" Having glanced towards Auva but not comment or focusing on her, not sure why she was hiding but knowing the shy mare would emerge when she was ready. Sonnet looked down to Auva under his wing, not moving till she either eased off or swapped him with her mother.

Auva didn't swap to her mother she simply brought up her own wings and covered herself trying to get her heart to stop racing. She couldn't run away, Carlisle was her 'partner'... oh no... why did that suddenly sound horrible and not enough? She nearly whimpered, especially as her mother approached looking worried... no, don't look at me like that, she thought. Her blush refusing to fade. Chandra smiled and chirped brightly, "Good. Thanks." When it was Sonnet's turn she stuck her tongue out at him playfully and chuckled before making her way over to Auva, the moment she did her expression shifted to concern and as she lowered herself to the ground next to her youngest she wondered why in the world she was suddenly acting like this... after all, she was usually comfortable around the three adults present. Doing a quick area check she ensured there was no one else around... what had got into Auva? Not wanting to make a big deal of it she wrapped her wing around the little girl and smiled softly, "It's ok sweety, it doesn't hurt. Promise." Surely it was just the examination that had her nervous, right
Sonnet moved over to Carlisle, starting to go through the motions of the exam, talking quietly, though most of his attention was on Chandra and Auva, wondering if there was more wrong than he thought. Carlisle, cast a worried glance over to the two mares himself, though he had not the foggiest what might be up, thinking this odd behavour for Auva.

Auva was aware of all the eyes on her, and that just made her shrink away even more... why was it when she wanted to be invisable she was suddenly very very visable. She gulped and turned her nose into her mothers warmth, trying to be strong. She would think about this later, dream about it she was sure.... but right now she needed to get a grip and act normal, because she didn't want people to worry.... not on top of everything else. In. Out. In. Out. She retaught herself to breath. Slowly the blush started to fade, and she hoped it wouldn't return the moment she looked at the healer. Chandra simply held her daughter, worry spreading in her eyes as she looked up at her mate, at least until the small mare slowly started to ease into a more comfortable position and her breath seemed to steady. She shook her head a little to portray the silent message of...'I have no idea what's going on'.
Carlisle could tell the worry of the parents as Sonnets heart rate had sped up, stepping back when he was doen with the exam. "You too are perfectly healthy." Looking over at Auva who seemed to be gettign a little better here. "I can do Auva next if she wants you here, or if she prefers more privacy that is fine too." Perfectly ameanable to whatever the young mare wants, adding in a way o tempt her out of whatever was wrong. "I can also teach you what to listen for and look for if you would like Auva." Not having any idea how far she wanted to take her learning with him.
Sonnet moved over to his mate, nuzzling her and Auva softly.

Auva would normally have jumped at the chance to learn more, but right now she wasn't sure it was wise to get too close to Carlisle, especially not to the point where he helped her but that device on and taught her to use it... that would almost be too... intimate. She gulped softly and shook her head as she stood up, her heart racing in a steady manner as she muster all her courage, and of course, tried not to look at the cause of all this. Copying what her parents had done she walked to the tree line and back, waiting for the question about if she felt pain before shaking her head, maybe a little too quickly. She just wanted to... run away. Chandra looked at Sonnet and then over at Auva, she was glad that no matter what it was she was at least trying to keep up with normality, something that wouldn't have happened just a short time ago. In the past whenever Auva had gone in on herself like that it had taken a lot of bribery and coaxing to get her back out of her shell... Chandra smiled reasurringly whenever her eyes met Auva's. She wanted to do more for her daughter... but what could she do?
Sonnet watched quietly, making no comment, his smile encouraging, silently cheering Auva on for doing her best even though she was clearly upset about something. Carlisle wasn't sure what to make of this, glancing at her parents, giving her another look over as she seemed to answer too quickly, not wanting to drag things out but also not wanting to miss anything. "I'm sorry, again please." Wanting her to walk again, his expression apologetic. "More slowly if you could."

Auva did as he asked, trying hard to control herself, to not think about her hips swaying or the natural elegance of her steps. Her ankle still stung ever so slightly after twisting it but it wasn't anything that was holding her back. Once done she stood in front of Carlisle with her head down looking at her hooves.
Chandra smiled too at her daughter, wondering if spending some time with Haki and Heze and others her own age might help bring her out of herself?
Sonnet watched, nuzzling his mate. Carlisle gave her a reassuring smile, this one more kindly than his usual one as he had spent so much time with her. "Head up please." Picking up the stethiscope to place it on her chest and listen.

Auva did just that, held her head up high and looked at the sky and the moon, hoping for peace and a miracle.
Carlisle puts her faster breathing and heart to her being anxious which she clearly was. Looking at her finally. "Now look at me please." Wanting to check her eyes and throat, his voice having become softer as he went trying to calm her, not thinking that it could also be seen as softer and more intimate.

Auva felt confused at the tone that Carlisle was using, it wasn't the same he had used for her parents... or was she just imagining that. She lowered her gaze, her eyes twinkling with a soft sheen of moisture as she looked him in the eyes. It was hard to keep the connection with the kind healer but she somehow managed it. Opening her mouth when commanded to, and following each and every order without question... even as her heart continued to flutter and she wanted to run away. This couldn't be happening... over soon... over soon... became her mantra.
Carlisle gave her a kindly smile, having noted the sheen in her eyes. "You're fine, You need to rest your ankle more but its healing well. Other than that you are a perfectly healthy young mare." His voice kind as he moves away from her, not wanting to upset her any more. Looking at her parents. "I'll go and start checking the others."

--------------LATER--------------
After seeing Carlisle and ensuring that Auva was ok she had gone about her other tasks, kissing her mate to wish him luck before doing so. She had checked in on Eden, spoken to everyone she could find about the check up so that they wouldn't be surprised when the healer arrived. Chandra had even lingered with Eden's little group and attempted to help with the 'Pulls'... she hadn't been very good at it but hoped that it would be good enough. Eventually she had followed her stomach and gone to gather some food, using a small bag to collect some for her mate before going to seek him out... she told herself it wasn't because she missed him when they were apart, that she wasn't just as worried about him as she was everyone else... but that would be a lie. She picked up his voice and smiled, "Sonnet?" She called, annoucing her presence so that whoever he was talking to wouldn't be surprised by her interuption.
Sonnet looked round at hearing his name, recognising his mates voice anywhere. Having been to visit his father and family, reassured that they would be safe, and had enough capable of protecting them. Stood next to Abloec, the pair had been talking, a bundle of something wrapped between them. Sonnet smiled at his mate and shifted closer to give her a nuzzle in greeting. "I thought you would still be busy." Still having other thigns to o himself but he would not skip out and miss time with his mate, he would jsut end up being a little later to what was next on his list.
Abloec gave a nod to Chandra but said nothing, thinking to let them have their greeting before excusing himself.

Chandra nodded softly, "I do... but I figured you could go some lunch." She smiled brightly, "I heard you had returned from seeing your Dad." She turned to Abloec as she approached and bowed her head softly in responce. She didn't really know much about the green stallion, knew that he had some connection with her own father and was old... but that was it really. Oh, and friends with her friend Cael, how could she forget about him? "I won't keep you long." She said a little apologetically as she turned to Sonnet and smiled again, nuzzling as he approached her.
Abloec shakes his head. "We are done here, I was getting directions to Eden's home to deliver some items I had found." Giving another bown he picked the bundle up by a strap in his teeth and turned walking away. Stumbling over a tree root before going out of sight. Sonnet smiled at Abloec and nodded to him as he gathered the bundle and left. Knowing the stallion all his life, though he thought of him more like an uncle than a friend. Nipping at Chandras mane and giving her another nuzzle. "Lunch sounds delightful."

Chandra tried not to leap to Abloec's side when she saw him stumble, her natural reaction to nurture coming out... but he was a grown stallion, and she learnt a long time ago sometimes there was nothing you could do or needed to do. She turned her attention back to her mate and nodded. "Berries and sweetgrass." She said softly, she wasn't planning to eat much, after the large breakfast and her lazy dealings all day she didn't believe she had earned taking a larger portion. Those training and heaving things around however had. "Things go well with your Dad?"
Sonnet nodded and gave her another nuzzle, hving just looked amused at Abloec's stumble, but then he knew how clumsy the stallion could be and that was mild if some stories were to be believed. "Yes, Aside from dad, Rock, Edward, and Ivory are there, not to mention that Addy... Abloecs daughter can probably hold her own in a fight. So I'm not so worried now as they have several around if any need help."
