At Esme's words, Naano barked at her "Don't act like you know anything. You have no idea what's happened here, you hear words but you don't feel anything we've felt.". This girl was cocky and hot headed, and Naano felt the need to smash her face into the ground.
The girl ignored her and brought her attention to Ayato. They shared an affectionate moment and began to walk away.
Naano's expression of anger and hatred quickly disappeared. It was a good show, really. The punch was a nice touch. "Fantastic" she said as she smiled It was obvious that she had broken Ayato's heart, although there was no choice. From the start she couldn't choose, and she did fall in love in the end. Her decisions were based upon both of them, and now as she held Ryan's hand she felt like all of her actions would lead to good eventually. Ayato's kiss on Esme's nose was a sign to Naano, he could be happy and fall in love with someone who wouldn't end up hurting two people at once. She honestly believed that.
And what was going on in her head when he told her he loved her? She certainly felt something, but nothing at all compared to being with Ryan. It wasn't that Ayato wasn't good enough, just that Ryan knew things.
All the s**t that had happened, all the drama and sadness, she was done with it. She was going to turn over a new leaf and continue on with her journey, she now had to find Becca's killer.
But there was one other thing she had to deal with now.
She faced Ryan, and looked at their connected hands. So he was a Cattivita spy, not a grunt but a spy. "A spy, huh?" was all she could muster up for a bit. Sure, he didn't steal Pokemon, but she knew that spies captured wild Pokemon and gave them to Cattivita. This made them stronger. But he hadn't hurt her in any way, nor had he betrayed her. "It doesn't matter whether you're a spy or a grunt. No matter what, you're strengthening them Ryan. But..." her eyes were still on their hands "Were all those things you said when we were walking here true?". She didn't want anything like what happened with Ayato to occur again.
Wait, they said a psycho was after them. "Wait!" she called out "Do you know who exactly is after you?". Her face was desperate now "Please, it may be the same person that killed Becca....". It was a long shot, but she needed to know. "You can hate me all you like, you can curse me all you damn well please. Hell, you can even hope that I'm dead right now but I need to know. Don't do this for me, do this for the innocent girl who you barely knew. The girl who never did anything horrible to anyone in her entire lifetime. The girl, my cousin, who had her heart open to everyone...and then had it literally ripped out of her."

Naano cocked her head to one side "My my, look what it has done to us all....". She was, of course, referring to Cattivita; hadn't it contributed to all of these horrid things? And look, just look how it changed them. Chuckling darkly she looked towards the girl and released Mizu "I've had enough of Pokemon related things for today to tell you the truth. Although I don't need Pokemon to destroy you" she said with a dark wink. Returning her water type, she sighed "Here we all are, and can no one else sense the evil surrounding us all? It seems that I'm to core of this disturbance...am I not?" imitating Ayato's cocked eyebrow she held Eva's Pokeball in her had. "She's not even mine...I didn't evolve her, she doesn't even want to be with me. My own starter, and she found someone she loved more...". Naano actually contemplated tossing the pokeball back to Ayato, and was about to, but stopped herself mid-throw as Shadow released himself from his own pokeball "Umbreon! Umbre!" ("No! Wait! Keep her! Trust me, i can make her remember!"). Sensing his eagerness for her to keep the Espeon, she placed it in her bag. Her hand crumpled against something, and she grabbed the drawing she had done of Ayato and sniffles. She tossed this towards him instead. "Hah, snowflakes." And she turned to walk away, holding Ryan's hand still.
Turning her head back, she looked into the blue haired boy's eyes. At one point, she had believed they would all travel together. Her, Ryan, and Ayato. Together. But she messed that up, didn't she... "Hide during the day, travel during the night. No fires, and change your names. Caps work well, and making friends in high places will do you nicely.". Ready to leave, she continued to walk and turned one last time "Oh, and don't die. You may not care for my life, but I'm sick of death at this point."
