With a pocket of cards, Phil resisted putting his hands into his pockets in case of unwanted grazing of thick paper to his flesh that might result in a papercut. Glancing around, a sound of shots being fired and things being hit caught his attention. "Ah!" was all Phil squeaked out, jumping at the sound of an arrow reaching its destination on a target.

Antennae shaking, he walked up to the horseman's booth watching others fire away. It was perhaps safer watching where those things were going than turning your back to them and potentially getting an arrow lodged in your behind unknowingly. That would certainly be an unwelcome pain.

"I'll give it a -shot-!" the boil said, voice particularly higher with his last word to imply humor about what he was about to do. It was just about the cleverest thing to him at that moment, attempting to take the edge of his nervousness with a joke. This was a deadly weapon he was holding and if he wasn't careful, it would injure himself or possibly anyone around him! It would take a few failed attempts of the mothboil holding the string together with the tailend of an arrow securely before he could even draw the bow. Once he had this accomplished, it was time to fire his first -potentially deadly- shot. "Everyone watch out! I've got a weapon here! It's firing!" Nervously, he felt a warning was in order just in case anyone had thoughts of running in front of his line of sight while firing; it could happen.

With wide eyes, Phil focused in on the target and managed to hit somewhat close to the center target. A slight smile made the boil's cheeks puff out a bit. "I did it?... I did it!" The mothboil's fuzzy antennae flopped up and down when Phil bounced on his heels in utter glee of this accomplishment. Trying for another, he fired off one arrow after the other, each progressively worse than the one before. He ddin't get nearly as close with his followup arrows, but at least there was still a prize at the end. Looking over the prizes, Phil ruled out pins due to the fact that the needle point could become loose somehow and pinch right through his skin. Of the straps, many had edges he was worried would get caught on things if he tried to attach it to his bag or something. He settled for a candy shaped one that looked okay. Bright colors were attractive to the mothboil; especially warm flame-like hues.

He heard some others playing this game with the boil behind the booth counter; something to do with yelling words at him as if they were fueled by a fighting fury. Walking up to the confidently composed boil, Phil's hands curled into fists and his eyes shut tight while trying to be as outwardly fired up as he could possibly be for this task. To onlookers, it might appear as though he was having tummy troubles or was holding his breath like some fleshy time bomb about to burst.

When he thought of what to say, the mothboil considered all the possible injuries he could have received today and what came out was something powerfully presented, but lacking as far as context:

"R-... REMEMBER TO BRUSH!!!"

From throwing daggers to trying archery, Belladonna was all about putting herself outside her proverbial comfort zone. Mostly because of fun and tokens, but other factors were playing in too! One never knew when they would need to suddenly take up a bow and arrow and start shooting. Not that the witch ever actually imagined herself needing to do this, it was still something she wanted to at least try!

The first shot was dismal, hardly even making it close to the target. The second shot was better, as Belladonna figured out exactly how to hold said bow and arrow and not get anything stuck to her, ahem, large chest. But the next two shoots were actually quite good! Not good enough to cure her last shot, but still better than nothing. Rather proud of herself the witch set the bow down and puffed out her chest.
Maybe she wasn't meant for archery, but she could at least do it!
...Given enough shots...

Blade Kuroda
Derp, can I get a pretty arrow please?

Horsemen. He was trying, he really was, to be nice. They set him on edge, still not trusting them. Kissing booth, dagger throwing... and now Arrow shooting. Arrows were not the same as guns, or daggers but- He paused.
Why were there so many stalls with weapons? Didn't they worry that anyone was going to take an eye out? Really, they were only missing an ax and sword based game and then they would have covered the basics. He admit though, trying weapons was kind of fun, given his use of claws and teeth his whole life. It was interesting to get the 'feel' how others lived when they did not share the traits he had.

Tail swaying the wolfos spent his seeds and gingerly picked up the bow. Head tilting, he plucked at the string, hitting his own finger in the process. So, just like the gun it took a bit of finesse. For Frost that meant luck. Wobbly, he notched the bow... and sent it going nowhere fast. It was a good shot, but what followed? Made him cringe. One of the arrows just kind of.. made a sad trip into the dirt.

He tried. And therefor no one could criticize him.

Blade Kuroda
He tried. Can I get fail prize pls?

Having left the snow-encrusted booth, Lifen had decided to go to another booth that seemed more enticing and home-like to her, a soft smile awarding the booth-leader Tseng as she allowed herself to pull up a bow that was placed for usage. It was already a little worn from the usage, but complaining would get her nowhere.

Pulling back the string, she let the first two arrows fly a little awry, trying to get the feel of the bow, the arrows hitting somewhere in the edge of the final ring, before she had decided. This wouldn't be terribly hard - and taking this thought in to conisderation, she deftly allowed two arrows sing in quick succession, the sound of the bullseye being hit with a comfortable thud making the little horsewoman smile wider.

Notching the final arrow, she let it fly, a little awry liken to the first two, but it still hit pretty close to home, making her feel pretty content with how she had done for her first try at hand. Lowering the bow again, she looked to Tseng softly, giving him a short bow. "That was very fun, thank you."

The Wolfos was determined to at least hit the bull's eye once. Why? Pride. Plus, he loathed to admit if it was something he could master, he no reason not to. Ears felt to back of his head as he tried again, the twang of the bow ringing out to him. The arrows were still fumbled, but, he was doing pretty well right? He failed, but- One solid thunk followed by another. Two bulls eye hits. Still, his first three were basically useless. Lusk was a lady, and she clearly was out to make Frost her b***h.

He growled. He'd not give up just yet but- He would come back to it. After brooding a bit. And maybe going to make a plea deal with Naryu.

It just made sense, to shoot more arrows. In fact, Freya thought she was learning a lot of great, interesting skills during Fright Night! She hadn't meant to learn anything, she just thought she was going to get to play games all day long. But really, one couldn't help but learn a little skill when they kept playing games like this.

She picked up the archery set, blew Tseng a kiss for luck, and let her arrows fly.

Her attempt was less than she'd expected.. but for two silver seeds, it was still worth the fun of trying.

Then what should she give Tseng for a name to call an attack, this time? He was a horseman, but she'd already covered that. He liked archery, and he liked pretty fluttery things, like the trinket he'd given her earlier. Hmm..

"PIERCING CHARM FLUTTERING ARROW ATTACK!"

What.

Just what.

She grinned at him sheepishly.

Az felt like shooting a few arrows so she came back here. She gave Tseng his two silver seeds and readied herself with the bow.

The ghoul let the arrows fly and was quite pleased with the result : 37 points. Not too bad really.

Plus she saw she had won 2 tokens. Brilliant !

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Marigold flitted into the booth, and by "flitted" it was actually more a cross between hopping and skipping accompanied by soft lilting cheeps. She watched in fascination as some of the students handed the boil manning the booth two seeds and was given five arrows in return.

Her feathers ruffled as she recalled the face-full of water from the dagger darts booth. But when she saw there was no bucket nor water, she calmed down some. Digging through her purse for the allowance her guardian had given her, she cheeped and handed two seeds. When it came to loosing the arrows, however, she aimed low and shot high.

Ooooh some hit the pretty circle in the middle!!! OwO!!!! Wait. Is that good? OnO???? "Mar-Mar make hole!!!" she squawked, pointing to the bullseye in dismay.

Score: 37
