Atticus would say nothing as Shira would explain the purpose and reasoning behind her decisions on the matter to Eric. After which, Atticus would here Rai mention Ragnarok, as all of the others there seemed to have been on guard or showed some interest in the fabled blade, Atticus and Shira would be the only ones to have not really given it any thought. "Shira, this guy is beginning to get more and more interesting at each passing second" he would then say, as a hit of darkness would permeate around his blade, but it would not cause any harm to him or Shira, "But we do not have time for this" Atticus said as he would momentarily transform back into his human form and land in front of Eric, "Eric, now is not the time, to worry about such an insignificant weapon. We should focus on getting to the town before it is nighttime." he said as he would then look back at Rai, "I trust that none of you, want to spend the night in this type of weather, surely your partners don't. So let us hurry to the town." Atticus said as he looked back at Eric and then at Michi, "Let us go."

Eric already had Dara in Weapon form in his pocket so he was set. Eric smiled bitterly as he listened to Shira. "It's not bad, it's just not nice. You're a strong leader Shira, but you're too soft," he said. "I'll do it your way. But I have a question. What if they find out and turn against us? Then what? What if they want us there less than the kishin eggs?"

Rai wasn't in much mood to argue right now, all he know is that he has to get rid of those Kishin eggs without hurting those humans and it wasn't hard. If those human somehow found out about our true identities then I would erase their memory, as simple as that. He spoken for the first time besides summoning Victoria. Rai has the ability to control someone else mind and it was a ability where he don't use it often unless necessary. With Victoria already in weapon mode, he simply walk ahead of the others trying not to waste too much times worrying something useless. The sun was setting to the west of the sky and it would be night in a matter of minutes, it would be best if they can finish this within the next sixteen hours.

As the situation seemed to have been squashed, Atticus would glance back, once more at Rai, so that the two's eyes would meet. As that happened, it would seem that Atticus was talking to him through his soul, "Despite your appearance and power, I would not be so complacent. That will just make you a bigger target." was the message he was trying to send to Rai. Turning back around, Atticus would transform back into his weapon form and land right back in the sheathe on Shira's back. "This mission should be finished rather quickly."

Eric shivered slightly as the temperature dropped. The late evening twilight had sucked most of the warmth (what little there was) out him. Lights were on in the town, but far less than it seemed there should be for its size. Wind sighed through empty alleyways and creaked old signs. Some doorways stood wide open, the interiors of the empty homes and shops already filling up with snow. Some of the interiors were smashed as if horrible struggles had taken place there.

Other houses' doors were sealed tightly, the light from inside streaming from narrow slits in boarded up windows. Many of these houses seemed to be under siege, if the claw and teeth marks gouged into the walls and doors was any indication. Eric wondered what it felt like, to be helpless behind steadily thinning wooden walls as each nightfall nightmarish monsters came to bite and scratch their way through them, only retreating with the break of dawn and even then surely with promises to return the next night. "Poor suckers," said Eric as they walked past several houses where the walls had finally given way, leaving gaping holes that who-knows-what had torn through to get to the occupants inside. Fortunately the angle of the setting sun still cast the interior of these houses in shadow, sparing them from whatever sight might be inside.

Shadows flitted behind some of the boarded up windows as survivors gathered to watch them pass. Despite this, Eric still felt as alone as they were at the top of the world when they were hunting that candy-cane Kishin. He couldn't recall her name off the top of his head. He glanced up at the sky seeing the early pale starlight beginning to shine down on them. Besides the wind, Tsuzu's makeshift bells seemed to be the only sound in the air, lending their haunting melody to the deceptive calm. "This part is worse than the fighting," Eric breathed as they continued through the town.
