"Thanks everyone, i'm glad you think I did a good job, and I don't know if i'll become a cook." If anything i'd like to just be happy with my life in the present." Rena had no idea what her future would hold. She was hoping that she'd settle down with a nice man, potentially Keiichi, or whatever guy she would find, and maybe raise a family. She'd love to travel, but she knew she couldn't leave Hinomizawa, so she'd have to settle for what she could get. If anything she'd be happy to know that she was going to be a better person than her mother, and if she did have a family she'd try her hardest to keep it together. As for a job cooking would be a very likely profession, either that or a paranormal investigator, Rena always seemed to want to believe in things like aliens or ghosts. She knew Oyashrio existed for Oyashrio was always over her bed watching her as she slept. There was always something out there, she knew that better than anyone, considering that her day-to-day activities involved exploring and treasure hunting. These considerations of her future flashed by in Rena's mind as began to dine on the food she had just brought. She did however fail to pay attention to the last thing Mion had said. Something about her mom, maybe?

Mion shook her head and waved her arms in a silly manner before looking over at Rena.
"Hey, Rena, you look liek you're deep in thought. What's on your mind?"

It seems like both of them are hiding something...
Chiiri picked Oliver up off his plate, setting him in her lap. Rena did seem like something was looming over her the entire evening. Chiiri decided it was best for the two to have their secrets for now. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a footstep right behind her. She thought maybe one of the guards had come in, but when she turned around, no one was there.
It is a big house filled with echoes...
Chiiri shrugged it off.

Nothing really, just wondering what my future would be like Mii-Chan.Speaking of that, what do you two have planned for the future? Rena didn't know Cherii very well so this might provide some insight as to what she's into. As for Mion, she had no idea if Mion wanted to settle down and start a new life or if she'd have to take on the obligations given by her current family.

"I'm studying to become a psychologist." Chiiri said, stroking Oliver. "I want to help people who have....problems."
Chiiri had several books on psychology at home, although the majority were still in boxes. The human mind always fascinated her, and when you study the mind, you can learn how to deal with anyone, or anything. Chiiri thought it was a very useful field for her.

Mion scratched her head, thinking about about her future, although she had dreams she knew she had a job to do.
"Well, I have to stay here, in Hinamizawa.
And full fill my role as the family head.
I can't really get married unless whoever wants to be with me chooses my family name.
And I have to have kids someday,
so the Sonozaki family with have an heir when my time is up."

"So you both want to stay in Hinamizawa? That would never work for me....Oliver and I are too stir-crazy." Chiiri smiled, thinking of her future. Maybe someday things will be okay for her and Oliver. "I hope you two find your happiness here. Granted, I don't much like moving."
I wonder why Rena is so set on living here. I can understand Mion, but...Oh well, it's none of my business.

"Hinamizawa is a good place to stay, it's not hectic and crazy. It's very easy and laid back.

Mion smiled at Rena.
"Right Rena? and thank you for that, it means a lot."
Mion had hopes that maybe, Keiichi would be the man in her future and they could run the Sonozaki family together..
.It made Mion slightly blush thinking of it but
she became saddened at one fact she forgot.

With Keiichi being the man he is, he surely wouldn't approve...

Girls are supposed to talk about boys, right?
"Are there any boys in town you two are trying to woo?"
Chiiri didn't know much about what friends talked about. Not anymore, at least.
She may have only been in towns for a few days, but she hadn't seen many other boys her age.

Rena nodded "Right, Hinomizawa is the best." Hinomizawa in a way could be considered the best place to live... or the worst. It was a lot better than the other place she lived for some time. What was the name? She didn't want to think about it. All should could remember was almost getting raped, and busting out windows. She kept her composure, and just scratched her arm a bit. The next thing however completely made a shift in Rena's mood, as Cherii asked what guys her and Mion liked. She didn't really know who Mion liked, she seemed more like the cool tomboy type rather than the flirty girly girl type. Either way she still might be crushing on somebody, as for Rena...Rena knew who she liked, but she didn't want to flat out say who he was. Her inner self remained calm, while her outer self was reduced to a blushing, sweaty state in shaking a bit. Not out of nervousness, but actually in kind of a blissful way. (In Lamen's terms) She had butterflies in her tummy. " Well I do like this one guy, he's really nice, and playful, and funny, and silly, and jus...jus....a great person." She wanted to say " I really LOVE this guy, but she couldn't bring herself to go that far." Now it was Mion's turn, who did Mion like?

Mion turned bright red upon hearing Chiiri's question,
she normally didn't talk about boys with anyone besides her twin sister Shion.
She was the only person who knew
Mion liked Keiichi.
But as she heard Rena describe her crush,
it sounded a lot like Keiichi
. No...it must be someone from that town she moved to maybe..that must be it...
In an instant it was Mion's turn.
Her heart raced and face bright red with sweaty palms.
"I..Well..Uh..I...I like..K--Satoshi! I like..Satoshi-kun!"
Dammit...I panicked...I couldn't tell them..No my best friend Rena..or Chiiri who've I've just met...
Why couldn't I just say I didn't have a crush on anyone?

Rena walked over to where Mion was setting and put her hand on Mion's shoulder. "Aww hey, don't worry even if he transferred away there's still a chance..." Rena stopped for a moment to wonder if she should tell Cherii about Satoshi. His "Transfer" was quite the sensitive subject, as she stood up staring at Mion. Rena knew that it was often best to put the past behind oneself, but if it was tearing Mion up maybe i'd be better if they talked about it. So Rena figured that maybe now would be the best time to ask Mion she could stay the night, if so maybe they could find more time to discuss Satoshi. "Hey Mii-Chan maybe I could spend the night here, then we could talk, and maybe Cherii too." It might not be best to get Cherii involved in such matters, but Rena didn't want to make a bad impression, besides more friends are often better than none. If anything she could probably get Mion alone to discuss privately, say if Cherii had to go to the bathroom, or go for a midnight snack. Above all, Rena was conflicted on how to handle the situation. This may not matter though, depending on the hands of fate Mion could decide to not let her or Cherii spend the night.

For second second Mion was shocked that Rena actually believed her fib. She was safe for now, but what if the matter was brought up later?
Would she tell Rena the truth?
After hearing the word 'transfer' Mion looked up at Rena.
She had forgotten for a moment how sensitive of a matter that was to Rena. Still, Mion faked her way though.
"Y-yeah...You're right...Rena.."
She looked down, ashamed she
had used Shion's feelings.
Great...I'm doing it again...Shion will be really mad about this..
"Oh, that's a great idea Rena,
it's better than all of us staying at
home alone when we could be enjoying eachothers company,
What do you think, Chiiri?"

"Oh, I think tha-" She was interrupted when Oliver hopped onto the floor, finding the nearest pillow and collapsing on it. He purred in content.
"...Well, if Oliver's staying the night, I guess I should too." Chiiri smiled.
"So Satoshi transferred away? How long ago was that?" She seemed to pick up a hint of sadness when they mentioned him transferring him away. Chiiri hoped she might be able to fill his void or something. Granted, she didn't care if she made friends or not.
She could live without them.
But these people seem nice. She probably won't have a problem here.
