He didn't quite see what happened, but they were smart to not trust him with such important artifacts. "I am Minoru Hayate, student professor for the science department. When will I be able to see these scrolls?" He was a bit tight on time but he will make it work. "And who are you if I may ask" looking towards Hotarubi's friend.

Did they suspect he would do harm to the scrolls? No matter photo copies should do for now. "Hmm, I see...Do not forget to take one of the seal on the scroll." He wanted to know if this was the same sage he met 9years ago. "Rima of the night witch and Hotarubi the spring witch. I will remember those names. "Hayate-sensei, How come you're so interested in this scroll. In fact, how do you know about the one with the seal on it?" she asked. Maybe she would find out his intentions with this question.

It seems there was a flaw in his plans. No matter he just has to pretend for now. "There are whom sought control over others and then there are others who seek the world of infinite knowledge." He laughs weakly and replies in a normal tone. "I am one of the few that seeks knowledge over power." Even though that was partly a lie, without the two. There would be no balance in the world. "How about you just come to ghe Eternal Spring Gardens with me. You can look at them there. A photocopy might miss some details that can only be seen in person." Hotarubi said. In truth,she was actually going to sit there and supervise him as he looks at the scroll. Ateast nothing could happen then. If he tried to steal the scroll the protective shield around the gardens would incinerate hin if not dehabilitate him at the least.

Sadly it was only out of curiosity that he asked for the scroll with a seal. "I would like that surely." Minoru was curious of why did the witch change her mind. Was it perhaps another reason? Sensei likes to keep the gardens locked and secured to a ridiculous of wards and spells which I am not allowed to divulge information about except to tell anyone that if they attempt an escape or break in they will most likely die."

All I know is that he goes by the code name of Jager." A garden with mystical spell seals that could instantaneously kill anyone who tries to invade or steal the scroll. It was quite expected that of the sage. That he would place such a barrier upon his work. He doubts that the barrier was not really just a typical barrier either. There may have been some demon arts used to craft it. "Sounds like the old man knows his magic. I see...well then I will meet you here again, once the day of the night of bliss in the ever lasting winter." Ending their conversation with a riddle that was fairly easy, Minoru leaves the library like a ghost passing by. ((Exits))
