Daemos nodded, "No... I-" He cut himself off as they all seemed to want to play with a puzzle. But he didn't have one. Pursing his lips he looked around for a moment before walking off a little ways and collecting some twigs - snapping them so they were roughly the same size.
Returning he smiled at them, "I've got a puzzle!" Without much explanation, he laid the twigs out in three rows, seven on the top row, five in the middle, and three on the bottom. "There! You play with someone else. We each take twigs - up to three, but they must be on the same line. If you take the last twig, you lose." He looked up. That was one his favourite puzzles because it was different every time.
"Is this okay?"

Keshi thought for a bit and spoke" this is more than ok." With a giggle she grabed 2 sticks from the row of 7. " It's your turm now right?' Keshi said with a smile.

He nodded, "Yup!" Daemos pursed his lips as he thought and then cheerfully took 3 sticks from the middle row. "You again." He grinned and waited for her to take more sticks.

((Well, I think since I'm going to be gone this weekend and this thread moves too fast....I'm going to take Lorelai out. ))
Lorelai watched the two playing and then got bored. This was not the kind of puzzle she thought they had meant. Lorelai yawned loudly, "I think I'm going to go. Nice meeting you and seeing you two again." Lorelai smiled and then walked away...she was ready for a nap.

Keshi bowed to Lorelai and said " It was great to see you. take care." With a wave goodbye she sat back down to contemplate the puzzle again. "Hmm I think I'm gonna take this bunch." she said as she grabed two sticks from the bottom row with a flourish. Keshi then giggled and said " Your turn."

((sorry for my slow responses guys, my internet has been spotty this summer))
Marisole had slunk back against a bush and was burrying her toes in the dirt, letting her body fill with the wonderful tingling sensation of minerals. She watched the game that Keshi and Daemos played carefully, trying to figure out the best stratagy, she let the sticks dance around in her mind until she figured out the trick to the game. And, with satisfaction she settled back and watched the other two play, wondering if either of them knew.
She waved goodbye to Lorelai, and was happy to have seen her again.

Daemos looked up as Lorelai left and pursed his lips. Had he done something to annoy her? Possibly bore? Frowning a little he sucked on his lower lips for a moment before waving after her, "Goodbye!" He sent a smile her way and turned back to the game. This was a puzzle. They'd said they wanted to play a puzzle.... it was a bit confusing but he brushed the thoughts away as he bent to study the layout.
At length, he took the single stick from the bottom row and nodded, sitting back cross-legged.

Keshi watched Daemos grab the last stick and the started to think. She rubbed her flower and then grabed the 2 sticks from the second row. "Your turn." she said with a smile.

The boy frowned as he looked at the remaining sticks. He'd lost any way you cut it. But, being a good sport, he chose a few anyways, and smiled up at the older Rosin. "It's a fun puzzle isn't it?"

Keshi Giggled. "This is really fun. I've never had anyone want to play a game with me. Thank you so much." She then took 2 of the last 3 sticks. " I wonder if she wants to play" Keshi said as she pointed with the sticks in her hand ovwer to Marisol.

Marisole's head snapped up at being adressed by Keshi.
"Eh?" she huffed. She had been happily zonning out looking at a tiny mushroom that was growing under a bush. "Oh..no. Um.. I... I dont want..." she hid behind her hair, her sallow cheecks almost blushing.

"Um are you sure. Cuz I'm sure Daemos would love to play with you. Besides I would really like to watch you both play a game to see if you guys do anything different." Keshi said to Marisole with a smile on her face. She then looked over to Daemos and said " Right?"

Daemos grinned at Keshi, "You're welcome!" As he bent to set his sticks back in place, he followed the other's gaze to Marisole. He offered a small smile, sensing her discomfort, but blinked as Keshi all but volunteered him.
Laughing, he nodded and sat back, waiting patiently for Keshi to replace her sticks. "Sure! I don't mind." He waved Marisole over, "Come play!"

Keshi Giggled. "Oops I almost forgot." Keshi said as she blushed and layed out the sticks in their places and smiled over to Daemos. Keshi spoke again " I think everything is in order to play another exciting game of .... ahh does it have a name by the way?"

Daemos laughed softly at her reaction and then paused as he was asked the question, "I.... don't know. I found it in a book, with a couple other games." He sat back to tick them off on his fingers, "This one, the x's and o's one, and SOS. They're all little puzzle games you can play with others." He smiled up at her as he leaned forward once more to study the sticks.
"Are you going to play?" He glanced up as he spoke to Marisole.
