Terran very visibly blinked, looking up. "...Then what the hell are we doing?" The vamp-being didn't seem too pleased with this development, but he didn't do much more than that simply instance, just when he realized that he shouldn't question much.

He said nothing as he flagged down a taxi and got in, heading back to the hotel in which the two of them were staying. Even during the ride, he said nothing, his eyes closed in contemplation. There was definitely something wrong here...

The reason he didn't speak was simple enough. There could still be someone watching or listening, and he didn't want to speak of any of this to the cabbie, either. Hell, there could be someone following them, and he would have to get ready for them, which was why he had to head back. His spare ammunition wouldn't be enough, nor would his current weapon. When they got back to his room though, and he made sure that both doors and windows were secure... and praying that his act was good enough for whoever was watching so that they weren't followed back here...

"The place is hot. Very much so," he said as he unlocked his safe and replaced the Beretta with a USP Tactical .45, making sure that a round was chambered and a clip was loaded. "I certainly hope you know how to use a gun... because I fear we might have to keep our defenses intact while we're here," he said as he retrieved another gun of the same make and model, tossing it towards Terran without looking back.

Terran caught the weapon on his finger, twirled it a couple time in gunslinger classic fashion before bringing it to the ready. "I'm a surgeon with these things. I've got one on me, 'member?" He lifted up his shirt, not that it'd be seen, where a Colt 45. was resting under his pantline, his gun held in SAFETY with a clip on the button to keep it that way.

He closed the safe, locked it, and turned to nod towards Terran. "Forgive me- I had forgotten about that for a moment. What I saw in there... just disturbed me a bit much." He would not speak of it until they were in a much less conspicuous location, but one thing was for sure.

They couldn't go in there without having their every action recorded by the enemy.

"The only choice we have now is to infiltrate the Order of Charitable Monks itself. I don't want anything happenning that could break this mission, and any action within that building would have done just that."

Including, but not limited to, destroying that camera or the thing that made itself a cozy little nest inside of it...

Terran nodded softly, still confused as to exactly what just happened. "To be entirely honest with you? I'm a little confused. Like. Very confused... Very very confused." And so, Terran leaned to the wall. "Where're these Godly Men hidden out?"
PostPosted: Wed Apr 12, 2006 10:27 am

Damien shrugged, mostly to himself. "They're somewhere in town, though I don't exactly know the location. From the information I gathered recently, it's obvious that they're more than just a group of humanitarians. What their aim is, I don't entirely know yet. However, it would be interesting to take a look at the records from within the organization itself..."

That was, if they could get in. Or rather, if Terran could get in. He had to take a deeper look into the forums- there had to be something, anything about Yaits's last known location before he was abducted. A scrap of paper would do, if it helped him find out where the trail started.

Terran nodded some. "...And, how, exactly, do we get into the Order? Just barge in, guns blazing does not seem to be your optimal course of action." The man started twirling both guns, looking something like Ocelot for the moment. "I mean, you have some kind of plan, right?"
PostPosted: Wed Apr 12, 2006 11:01 am

"Of course. It was a strategy I was saving up if all the other options went dry. Which so far, they have... so then, here's the deal. One of us will infiltrate the order itself, becoming a part of their structure. It might take the one who manages to infiltrate the system quite some time, but during that time he can check the records via any means avalible.

The other will continue looking for traces of Yaits's last known location before he had gone missing. If it is found, then the two of us will head toward that location immediately. If not, we will continue following any leads found in the records, and stay within the order undetected, finding out their motives and strategy."

He nodded and sat on the bed, holding his head in his hands. Sighing deeply, he felt a bit worried for the other members of his team. This Black Op was starting to get to him somewhat... not to mention that there could be any number of those little "eyes in the sky" in any number of locations.

They could be compromised at any time...

"Long term infiltration, huh? I guess we could do that. So, which one of us is doing what?" And as soon as the question left his head, he regreted it. "...Oh hell. Lemme guess..."

Temple of Ymir, Barton.

Amidst the other other buildings of downtown Barton is solemn looking temple done in the classic Greco-Roman style. The murals are depictions of various norse giants performing heroic deeds for the mortal races. It is a new building, recently erected but composed of the highest quality stone and marble, all polished to lustery finish. There are a few temple staff about, a profesional greeter has a post at the temple doors, not a preacher or a gaurd. There is no security, and all are welcome to hear the teachings of the order. There is a smell of freshly hewn stone that is not unpleasing.

Inside the temple is a well lit and freshly carpeted lobby, there are public restrooms, and a long receptions desk along the back wall. To the left there are confesionals. There is a small coffee & refreshement shop with tables and chairs for people to relax, but food or drink is not permitted outside it's confines.

Past the lobby is a the main ampetheatre of the temple, complete with overhead lighting, a stage, stage lights, and a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system.

Behind the stage are the halls, where the offices and keeps of the temple preists can be found.

New Order Party Headquaters

In the political district, near the forums, a small office building has been constructed where a vacant lot used to be. It is plainly labeled the New Order Party Headquaters. Political placards instructing passersby on which candiddates to vote for already line the windows. There is a sign on the grass that says: Vote New Order, We all know how the old order does things. Inside is a large lobby, well furnished, with two secretaries on staff to help people who wish to enlist for the party. Behind the counter is a slew of offices for the upper management of the party.

The building has not one, but two rent-a-cop, security guards, and a basic on-call security system manufactured by Yaits Corp Security Division.

((Hmm... the easy way, or the hard way?

*Considers doing both, but thinks better of it.*))

"Unfortunately, you are correct... You have the abilities needed to perform this undercover reconnaisance at the moment. I could do it myself, but I will be busy the next few days with attempting to locate the last known whereabouts of Yaits, as I was before."

He lifted his head and continued. "You are to examine any records, monetary or otherwise, within that building without attracting any needless attention. Take note- I meant needless attention. Sometimes, bringing yourself into the focus of everyone's attention is worth doing; remember that.

Take note that you are not to contact me until you get some hard, solid intelligence. I will be in this same room, attempting to get the location of the target. Do you follow?"

The plan was simple- he would make an attempt to find out what the order was really about, while Damien would search diligently for the last known position of Yaits before he was abducted. If indeed he found it, they would break camp, break their ties if any had been made, and get the hell out towards the next location.

If not, they would have to go with what they knew, if anything at all.

"Yeah. Anything solid. No problem. I should probably look these folks in to see if I can't get into it a little bit easier, huh?"

And so, Terran did a little research that night, and found out the basic uniform of the Order. Their theme was pretty much entirely Greco Roman, which is exactly what he got. A red Greco Roman shirt, sleeveless and short, coming down to a V on his neck. His pants came to just below his knees, black and puffy. Lastly was a pair of hand women black palm sandles. Rather soft. "...This feels really ******** weird."

He shrugged. "Then I suggest you get a uniform from their headquarters. It would be unusual if you went with anything less than their same garb, and not a simulation of sorts. Besides, there are better ways of infiltration than simply dressing as one of them. Had you not thought of signing up?"

The captain refrained from smirking. Many of his other team members were doing what they usually did in order to infiltrate- pretending they had lives and other things to do besides just sneak in. If he went in with something already on, suspicion would be raised immediately.

If he got one of their robes legally and legitimately however...

That very train of thought had briefly passed through his mind, but he thought he might be being paranoid. "...That is true... I shoulda stuck with my first idea..." He shrugged once before pulling the most classic of speed-forward RP technology. Grabbed his shirt and ripped forward, revealing his previous outfit.

Yes. I'm lazy. Sue me.

"So, where is this grand place located, anyhow?"

After entering a search for the temple in his laptop, he found the location immediately, clicking on the first entry that came up. "Interesting... it's in downtown Barton; the same place that we had left earlier today. Unfortunately, it's a bit late for any real action to take place. Perhaps tomorrow, when we are rested. This time, you will have to go on your own. Here- write down or memorize this address."

He moved the computer so that the monitor was facing Terran. As soon as it was confirmed that he had jotted it down either in memory or on paper, he would turn it back around.
