"Her name is Nuika." She nuzzled the cub lovingly. "She found me." A small smile was gifted to the gray lioness.

Kall laughed as Ferrian pounced another meercat as it appeared on the grassy embankment. The cyan-marked King had gone on his morning rounds, and as he was returning, he had spotted Ferrian pouncing about. After giving the prince a few quick lessons, he had spent the last few moments watching the cub put his new techniques to good use.
Ferrian beamed at his fater and released the young animal, having not wounded it at all, and let it scamper off. He turned to his father and stretched, giving a tiny roar.
"MROARW." He growled.
Kall grinned and patted his son on the head with a paw. "Come now.. Let's get back to your mother, eh?"
Ferrian grinned. "Alright."
Dashira sat, curled on a rock, her paws hanging just over the edge as she peered down at the water. The waterfall thundered down before her, and every once-in-awhile, she would turn from the pool, to the falls themselves.
The silver-white mist flying off the water clung to her like diamonds wound in the green of her coat. The soft blue of the pool, tinted more deep blue/purple toward the center distorted the color of her face as she peered at it, turning her coat more a roiling forest green or deep blue depending on the light.
She smiled at her reflection, and splashed at it with a paw.

"Keyisha Nuika? She has my name!" Nuika exclaimed, having combined the two names together. Though a moment later, the thought left her head as she smiled at the cub. "I hope so... She said I could." She said referring to Fayola.

Ferrian perked up as he and his father neared the mouth of the cave, noticing a voice that didn't belong. "Dad.. There's someone here."
Kall smiled down at his son, scenting the air and nodding. "A new cub?"
Ferrian leaped into the air in joy. "YAY! Someone to play with!"
With an excited grin at his father he sprinted up and onto the plateau and toward the cave, sliding to a halt within. "HI!"
Dashira perked up from the water as her brother thundered into the den, rolling her eyes and giggling at him.
"Brothers." She muttered to the water. "What can you do with them?"
Her reflection merely gave a little shrug and smiled a little smile, the water rippling and whispering. It bubbled and laughed, telling her a sound-story. She inched closer to the edge and listened to it, feeling as though it spoke to her, telling her the secrets of the mountains, of the small dark places, and open valleys, as well as tales of Bird and Beast.
Dashira was content to sit and learn, ignoring her father's appearance on the plateau and his entrance into the den. The wind picked up, bringing her scent-stories of tall woods, a lush oasis, strange lions and prey...
She would learn all she could...

Whisper's grin grew wider as she listened to the little cub and the Queen.
"Nuika, what a pretty name~"
She purred, sitting gingerly at the mouth of the cave next to them.
Bored already, Blare padded back toward the river, a sigh escaping his mouth. His mother hadn't even noticed that he'd grown. Oh well. His oddly-colored eyes spotted a small, interestingly colored lump over near a waterfall, and he trotted over to investigate.
"Hello...?"
He paused, his eyes examining the bundle of fur. Why, it was a lioness!

Dashira, so absorbed in the sounds of water in wind, did not notice the lion until he was nearly upon her. She leapt to all fours and nearly tumbled into the water with a squeak. "ACK!"
She yelped and scrabled back astride the bolder, bowing a greeting. "Hello Blare.. I heard of you.. I'm Dashira.. " She smiled, hating the fact that she was the baby. 'I wish I was big...'
She glanced at his coat, admiring his beauty. 'He's stunning.'

He grinned apologetically, dipping his head in a small bow before speaking.
"Terribly sorry about that. Didn't mean to startle you."
He spoke, his voice low and rough. He looked up at her with his strange colored eyes, and sat down, facing her.
"I'm Blare.. Remind me of your name?"
He asked, looking down at his paws, dragging a claw through the sand uneasily. He felt bad having to ask her name, but he didn't want to have to avoid saying it.

Dash giggled, for she could do little more, and settled into a seat still atop her rock. She cocked her head at him and smiled.
"Dashira.. Dashi.. Dash." She gave a little shrug. "Kall's youngest."
She glanced at the water. "And as for startling me, that was entirely my fault.. I know better than to day dream, at least, I aught to..."
She scrunched her nose and gave a 'silly me' kind of look. "It's nice to meet you."

"The pleasure is all mine, Dashira, Dashi, or Dash. Which do I call you?"
Blare replied plainly, draggin his paw into the wet mud by the river's side. As she apologized, he glanced over to her, a small grin playing upon his face.
"No apology neccessary, for I do it all the time."

"No, little one, her name is Keyisha." Fayola chuckled, chuffing gently.
"If Momma said you could stay then you can. Daddy won't have a problem with it." Keyisha nodded, smiling. She had a playmate! At least one that wasn't her sister or her brother.

Nuika grinned as she struggled free from Fayola's grasp, which prooved not too difficult. She bounded at the cub, batting playfully at her ear flecks. "Want to play?" She asked her blue eyes wide with happiness.

Kall halted at the cave entrance, smiling as he watched a little green bundle wiggle out of Fayola's grasp and leap upon Keyisha. The sight of the cubs playing made him smile, and he gave his son a little nudge. 'Go play if you want to...'
Ferr shook his head and smiled at his dad, watching his sister and her new friend play for awhile.
Dashira gave a slight shrug. "Whatever you wish to call me of course, for they are all my name."

"Sure!" The older cub bounded away a bit, pointing to a set of rocks. "Want to play hide and seek?" The mist from the waterfall would obscure enough scent to make it fun and challenging.
Fayola turned to her mate and Prince. "Ferrian?" She patted the ground in front of her with a paw.

Ferrian grinned at his father then scampered to his mother, sitting before her and wagging his tail slightly. He sat up on his hind legs and reached out with a front paw to balance against his mother's shoulder, grinning at her.
"Yes mama?"
Kall chuckled and shook his head.

With a playful growl the Queen attacked her son with light licks of the tongue. She nuzzled him, playing gently.
