"Too bad for you, your partner never quite made the cut," Ariane laughed, no longer taking to speaking to Kintama in her mind since there wasn't anyone to listen to her anyway. Taking a seat on the step right beside where Madison was, she took a moment to take a breather. No matter what they did, the crystals continued to proceed, trying to push out of the room; she was pretty sure that trying to block the exit was a stupid idea, but she had to honor the will of the fallen, right?
With a pained groan, she stood up, frowning at the crystals spreading across her skin. It was getting exceedingly tiring to move, and she used the remainder of her energy to smash another crystal... Only to find more growing at her feet. These things hurt, and she was so focused on trying to block out the pain that she could no longer make out what Kintama was saying. With a sigh, she held onto the crystalized Madison for support, closing her eyes as the world faded to black, "As if I'm going to listen to you, Judy."
And then she joined the rest of them.

No, she knew Izy's voice better than her own. And there were more noises--the sounds of clashing metal and screams, sounds much like war movies, ones from long ago. It seemed to separate her from the pain that was raking her body, drawing her into a story that she could almost see. 25/50

One hand came up weakly, slapping the fragment into the wall and shattering it. But something was wrong. Syd looked down slowly, showing Izy that there were fragments growing around her feet. For a second the world turned black for both of them--he could feel them start to fall. But she grabbed the wall, regaining her balance.
I love you, she repeated. I... I don't want you to die.

There was little use struggling as he fell, though for a brief moment he still tried, the crystals reaching out for him, wanting to add him to them, accepting him.
All he could really do was be angry. At the hunters for taking his precious Astridr from him, and at himself for not getting his proper revenge before they had gotten to him. Crystal was already closing over his frame as he looked to the top of the pit. If he ever got out the hunters would still have hell to pay. And they would not be able to pay his price.
Revenge, that was what was called for. He wanted it. Even as the crystal grew over his face his eyes stared up at the hunters. Revenge.

Leon didn't even get the luxury to say oh crap. the crystals swept up in a rush as he tried to whirl around and look for an exit. nothing but crystals. blocking every way out. not even Nid's power was enough to carve a way out as he swung with all his might at the slowly growing mineral fear. and it was pissed off at him and his weapon. the slow crawl became a white rush as it encompassed the boxer and ripped at his shirt and coat as it stole all ability to move. those tickets to the summer olympics frozen in place as the hunter yelled a roar of irritation, frozen for all time (and for clarice to enjoy sitting on a comfortable plush chair with a spot of tea) Bloodlust Dante MY CHARACTER LEON IS NOT IN PVP!
