Short IC Response: The mare's steps were certain, mature; gone were the days of silly fillyhood and bouncing around, jumping off of hilltops just to 'fly' without wings. Gone were the days of her first-born children--Serren had a mate, had a family, and was now a grandfather of his own, and oh so young... Akiilani shook her head slowly, glancing behind her, to where she'd left Basil snoozing in the field. But...the rainbow was beautiful. They wanted a second chance at parenthood. A couple of foals to spruce things up, to bring back the days of gallivanting like colts after the children, a chance to prove to herself that she was NOT old and rickety... She was still young, still had years ahead of her, wonderful years with her forever-mate. Even if something happened, that she could never have children again, she would live out her life happy, just being by his side. As the summer breeze fluttered her bangs, she glanced up at the rainbow--pastel, beautiful, streaking across the sky like a searchlight in all of its brilliance. Rumor had it, this rainbow granted wishes...and a wish was just what Lani was hoping for. A smile graced her lips. "A baby. A colt or a filly. I don't even care if it doesn't have the gift of flight..." Even though she herself had fought with the pain of being the only daughter of three to be born wingless, when her sisters didn't even seem to enjoy wings and Lani was born to soar. One of his feathers and lock of his hair. Short IC Response: Hoto looked to the strange looking sculpture that was now covered in offerings. He wondered if it was even worth adding his to the pile but knew it couldn't hurt. He laid one of his feathers with a bit of his tail still attached to it on the alter and prayed. "Hello mighty god. I was wondering if you might hear my plea and grant me my fondest wish. I want to have my sister back. I need her sweet wisdom. If you could just point her in my direction that would be great." He nodded and then turned to slowly walk away. Would you like for it to be tikified?: Yes! Since I think mild tiki would fit into the family. Within reason of course. I want native markings but if you can figure out how to make them native and tribal, cool! I love seashells btw.

He had the strength of the highest mountain while I commanded the wind's grace under my wings..." He tipped his head slightly and narrowed his eyes. "One day, a foul wind brought the sands into the skies. The conflict soon had all divided. Many fell, many more were lost and assumed to be no more. My brother had been just behind me... A bead from her ankels and some feathers from her wings Short IC Response: She wasn't sure if she should, but she missed him dearly. Laying down some of her feathers, with the beads atop them, Mahina looked up and spoke from her heart. "I miss my brother, though it has been many seasons since we last spoke or saw each other. He was one of the few that could understand my need to be moving around, and I would like to have that back if I could. Point him or me in the right direction to be found." The whole time she moved around, in a sort of dance to show what she meant. Would you like for it to be tikified?: Yes.

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Pele listens to the wind as it hums over the open crater of the volcano. She stands for a moment, bathed in the light of the moon before she begins, slowly, to move. A silent grace fills her as Pele twists and turns, her language that of her body. She shows her soul through her dance. Wings open and close, powerful legs leapin and soft gliding to pointed landing. Her hooves match the rythm of the water falling from tropical leaves left by the late rains of the island day. Her voice sings, a language so ancient it is without words as she calls upon the ancient powers. From one moment she moves as lava, slow and steady, then she explodes with energy as if the volcano upon which she dances erupted into life with her. Her dance hovers and glides like clouds of ash before landing with swift violence in a rain of fire. Pele dances the life of the island to the star, a life of loneliness made more eerie by her wordless song. Then the dance changes, gentles as she dances opening flowers and visiting birds. And her dance, her song, her soul, vibrate with the life and the joy of life renewed. As she slows to the rhythms of the night of the island, ending, still beneath the light of the star, she stands, head thrown back. Her eyes burn with a longing unfulfilled in the dance and herself. Though the island knows life, it is without companionship. Rajiv often says how much she adores the vine that creeps up his hind leg and hopes that their children would share a similar traits. Quynh, upon greeting the mystical rainbow, deposits a quarter of the vine, which sprouts a small, white bud each summer; in hopes that this year, something fruitful will bloom from it. Along with a small buttercup, symbolizing his mother's love and accomplishments. Short IC Response: Quynh had been pacing the beaten path of the rainbow for tens of minutes, with his bangs dancing before his eyes. He knows that he and Rajiv are still young and should wait to have a family of their own, but being head over hooves in love makes you rush into those kinds of things. Right? His pacing slows and gradually ceases as he finds himself atop a small buttercup: his mother's favorite flower. He smiles inwardly, knowing full well the struggle his mother had in raising him and his sister but also what a treasure they are to her as she talks about them incessantly. If Mom did it all by herself, what's to keep Rajiv and I from being responsible parents? I'd never leave her side, or the kids. His unability to cope with the lack of a fatherly figured has plaqued him since he was a wee lad, but he's determined to show his new love and mother just how much he's learned to be a proper stallion and stand by his family. With new found courage, he picks the small yellow flower and climbs the hill that currently separates him from the wishing rainbow. Should I have told Rajiv I was coming out here today? Nah, she'll love the surprise if this actually works! He beams a toothy grin (as taught to him by his uncle Carthage) and makes his meager offering of a budded vine and the buttercup. Crap, she's gonna know something's up when I come home missing my bud... He turns from the rainbow, but is slow to leave it. Not only because he's trying to come up with a good excuse, but also because he's hopeful that he'll finally be able to forget the wrongs his father made and bring another treasure into his, Rajiv, and Mother's life. Who is Wishing?: Regalia
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Regalia was raised by his mother (whisper) and two brothers (battle & vidorun).
They were happy enough but the lack of normal (his brothers are mutants) and fatherly influence has made him a tad eccentric himself.
He loves drama. Well drama for other soquili then he sits back and watches it like a reality TV show. He is also a lover of grand parties he throws at least 5 every year.
One for each season
The dance of the beauties ( a ladies choice ball held in honer of the harpies.)
And whatever occasion he can think of to hold a social event.
He also tends to not make close friends very easily. He is charming and liked by many (of course hated by many more for being the rumor mill and as some would call him the prince of lies) but he tends to get along better with mares.

Would you like for it to be tikified?: Yes tropical flare could be interesting and some brighter colors could be interesting as I am do fond of those lip tattoos .

There had been another I felt close to, despite our differences, my brother had never seemed to find any fault with my kalona blood. I wish I had told him goodbye when I left, but I was afraid that he would have come with me, and he was so happy in our herd. But now, when i look back, I do wonder. Is he still happy? Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: I'm thirteen years old, I'm blind, I hope to become a warrior or dreamweaver, I have visions in my dreams I have since I was baby. I live in the village with Hanna who is my only friend and companion.
Even with my blindness I'm tough and work hard for the good of everyone around me. I hope the village gather things to help us survive the long winters.
I hope for a friend that could spend time with me and protect me as well as be my eyes and see for me.
