Miranda stumbled along after him, not really enjoying this as much as he was. She looked in the next box with growing embarressment.
"Oh, come on! There's no way I'm wearing those." she said. Her blush deeped as he joked.

Miranda looked back at the box. What was with her? She was usually good at shrugging these off. Being thrown into this situation made her irritable, but she should at least try to make some light of it. Or else she'd go crazy.
So she forced a smile and tried to relax. "I don't know," she retorted. "I think they'd look better on you." She chuckled. That actually did make her feel better. Imagining Luke in those clothes sure did the trick. She bit back giggles.
"Let's choose the closest one." she said pointing and shrugged. "I don't think it's a building. Looks like a rock out-cropping. I wonder how many other ridiculous gifts they sent."

Miranda started to laugh harder as he joked about wearing them. She hoped her didn't actually but them on or she'd die from laughter.
She just shook her head when he grabbed the box.
As they neared the front door she wondered how that got there without them noticing. She rolled her eyes as he pulled out the book. "At least we'll be well educated." she said sarcasticly. "You have quite the parents, Luke."
Miranda looked around inside. "We're already back. Do you want to find the other four yet? It's up to you. I could use another laugh." she told him with a grin.

Miranda shrugged, "Sure why not." she said. "If you ask me I think they're over doing this. Just a bit." she said bringing her fingers close together. She laughed. "It kind of a turn off for me."
She suddenly shivered. "Why is it so cold in here? Is there a thermostat in here somewhere?" she asked.

Miranda pulled the hoodie close around her, glad for the extra warmth. She smiled her thanks and followed him back out into the night. She was surprised at how quickly the temperater was dropping.
Yet, walking around at night was very enjoyable. The sights and sounds. It was a little unnerving, but interesting. When they came upon the pool a really smile of enjoyment spread across her face.
"I think, this is a surprise I can actually enjoy." she admitted, stepping up the star-lit water. "It's beautiful here." Her voice betrayed her awe. Dipping a foot in she noticed the water was icy. It was spring right now. She bet this place would be perfect in the summer

Miranda looked at him. She first answer was to refuse. Then she looked at him and the challenge in his eyes. He was daring her to do something.
With a smirk she pulled off the hoodie and the silk robe. The gown was already small and snug against her shapely form. There was not much point in taking it off. Not unless she wanted him to see her nude.
She slowly started to wade into the water. She stopped when it was too her thighs and looked up at Luke. "You coming?"

Miranda got in deeper, then suddenly pelted with the icy water. She squeeled and wiped her eyes. She laughed. "Oh you are going to get it...." she said threateningly. She dived and swam over to Luke, knowing she'd get there faster than trying to run toward him. She stood when she was close enough and splashed him as much as possible.
She grinned and dipped underwater.
