((Reaction: You can tell that this girl is scared, merely from looking in her eyes as you give away your presence and she looks towards you. She doesn't appeared to be afraid of you, giving you the sense that she saw what it was that did this, and that you don't look anything like it.))

((Reaction: The General store is full of supplies, you note that like the Mayors house, and, from the journals contents you assume every other, this place has been straightened up and categorized to the most obsessive of levels. You find all the necessary materials to craft a few torches, but you are far more elated to discover a small hidden alcove under the counter that contains a few bottles of a oil. With some cloth, you could make rather effective incendiary weapon. It probably won't do too much harm given the quality of the oil, but if this...devil, is afraid of fire, then this will surely terrify it beyond reason.

However...as you search the store further you notice a few things...missing. Things that, though you are surprised you noticed, SHOULD be there, but aren't. For one, a few spaces on the otherwise perfectly categorized shelves are missing in the a section containing children's toys, and far more odd, the food stores are nearly completely pilfered, as though someone has been taking enough food to feed an entire village. As sharp as you are feeling right now, pun intended, you also note that all the needles, in any way shape or form, sewing or medicinal, are gone from the stock. It occurs to you that if indeed the devil had been the one taking the food or needles, everything would have been situated differently given it's driven need to tidy things up. Meaning that...there is another power at work here...or at the very least, another person working with the devil in his wicked deeds...))

Kina was peeling through the records in the secret back room that Urza seemed to have uncovered, her eyes flitting through them with a measure expression. These... these were... but then... The girl continued to search, focusing intently on her task. "But this...if this right then..." she stood up, staring at the papers with a revelation in her mind. "So then...if that's right then...then that's why the Otobe couldn't hear them, this is where they've been coming from...where they where attacking the village from. I have to-"

"My...but Otogakure does have such a talent for sending me lovely girl's to foil me...I am indeed starting to find myself a fan."

Kina attempted to turn around but she all to quickly found a hand around her neck. "Ah!" she tried to choke out a cry, but the hand...it was...draining her chakra... she tried to struggle, drawing a kunai from her hand and swinging it at her attacker.

"Ahahaha...well not nearly as lovely or dangerous as the last, but I do admire you spirit, young lady. I think I'll keep you. But please don't make this difficult, hm?"

Kina grit her teeth. It was no good...he was too strong. She was...losing consciousness. she instead turned her attention to the wall that he had pinned her to, taking the Kunai to it.

"Ahaha, what's the matter little one? Has my magnificence caused you to lose your reason? Such a shame. Do not worry. You will be fine after a rest...I am nothing if not a merciful man. Hn hn hn."

Kina gave a hard smirk even as she lost conscious, also lifting up her other hand, showing that she was pressing the button to the communication device that Mikito had given her....meaning this was being heard on his end of the radio.

"Hm? Hn...clever little witch. I do indeed like you."

Kina faded from consciousness.


Little girl

The little girl looked at Miyako with a look relief, immediately bowing to her with a stricken face. "Please! You...you have to save my papa...you have to save everyone! That big scary thing...it...it took them! It took them away! If you're a ninja you have to save them!!" she seemed hysterical and barely consolable.

Urza made her way back to the elders house, stuff in hand. She took a look out to where Miyako was supposed to be and saw a bright light burning in hand. It seems she had found a torch of her own. "Blessed be the Makers light." Urza sighed to herself as she dropped the object onto the ground and began to set up all of the objects if they were attacked. She began wrapping the torches and making sure they were oiled well. She would have to make sure the burned bright, and burned long, after all, there was no way to tell how long she would need them for. The second her weapons were made she would have to seek out Kina to make sure she got a torch, Miyako seemed to have one from where Urza stood but she would double check, just in case, and Alucard still seemed to be searching the shed. Urza began work on her tools. Urza made the torches and make shift bombs with no issue. Now she just had to distribute it to the others.

As the torch re-lit, the little girl gave a slight sniff. Giving a silent nod to the girl and looking slightly nervous. "You...then...do you have one of those really tough ninja with you? Like the one's that Papa even says could beat HIM up? Cause..." she looked like she might start crying again. "Cause that thing...it...it was stronger than Papa...he tried to fight it with the fire..but...it didn't work...the fire made it really angry... it kept it away for a little bit then..." she sniffed again. "Then the torch went out..and it took him away... Mama too." she seemed ready to stick close to Miyako. "Do you...do you really think you can beat it?" she didn't seem entirely convinced...but more then ready to put her trust in this girl if it meant she could save her family...

Urza watched the light from the farm get closer. It seems Miyako was on her way back... With another. Urza became very on guard her hand resting on the hilt of her sword so it could be drawn quickly. It was just a little girl... Urza's eyes opened wide. The missing children's toys. Was it possible this girl was working with the devil for whatever reason... Urza had no reason to suspect not so she kept up her guard. As Miyako approached she greeted her, "Well met Miyako... Who is the addition?" Urza presented herself as non-hostile as she could. Urza coughed grabbing a bomb and handing it to Miyako, "The devil that haunts this village is afraid of fire. Just light the cloth and throw it if you need to make a quick wall." Urza lit her own torch and looked around a bit. Kina was still inside doing research, perhaps it would have been a good idea to go check on her. "We should go get Kina some protection of her own. Besides, I've found a strange development that she may need to know." Urza suggested to Miyako.

Miyako had seen Urza come out of a general store and she handed a bottle of oil to Miyako. She had to be careful not to accidentally set it aflame with her torch. "She hasn't given me her name yet actually, though her father and mother were taken by the creature. She's the only person I've actually seen around here." This village was strange and things just kept getting worse. Miyako couldn't make heads or tails of anything. At least she knew it was afraid of fire. "I'll follow you then. She'll need to hear about this creature. The girl has seen it." It was the biggest news she had all night.

Urza looked at the girl with a bit of pause. Her mother and father had been taken. The missing children toys. She was the only one in the village. It all just seemed to coincidental to Urza. But she wasn't afraid of fire, nor did she look to be trying to make things tiddy, so that was good enough for Urza to had least not jump to conclusions. If she had seen the creature she would be a valuable asset. "Than we had best make sure she gets to Kina, have you informed Mikito of the developments?" Urza asked looking around the darkness. As much as she loved standing out in the open with a devil about, it put her quite on edge. "There is a secret room in the kitchen in the elders house. You take the girl and I'll take our rear. Stick close. Its been a bit too quite." The journal entry had been that day, and in the shed prior to where she found it. The fact the devil had not show his face was starting to male Urza nervous.
