After the brave rescue of the (rather ungrateful) minipet, Thackery pulled back and just let the unusual 'water' support him, lingering near Dexxy with limp exhaustion. This place really had too much to take in and understand, and they seemed to be getting nowhere fast. "Dexxy," he began, apprehensive. "You haven't ever been here before, right?" Jack, he hoped not. None of this looked very safe at all, especially considering that whole shard deal with the previous minipet. If something like that happened to one of his own... Thankfully, his worrying was cut short. "Oh! No, sir! I wouldn't ever go anywhere without your permission, ha ha, that's so silly!" She let herself 'fall' backwards to swim in a little haphazard loop before reaching back towards Thackery to bop him on the nose. He scrunched up his face and playfully gave her a push, laughing all the while - until he caught a glimpse of something familiar nearby. The two minipets appeared to be enjoying their surroundings about as much as he and Dexxy were, and bothering them might be the exactly what they didn't want right now, but...it couldn't hurt. "Hi, um...Mal?" He tilted his head inquisitively, trying his best to look sympathetic. Which was a little hard to do with a kitsupeito hopping in exuberant circles around him. ...! Malodore looked up sharply at someone actually using its name; Luce bared her teeth, a low rumble deep in her throat. But this minipet looked familiar. It couldn't quite place the name... not quite... " Si.... and I know you, don't I... I am afraid I don't entirely recognize you, mi dispiace..." At that response, Luce quieted, though she still gave the newcomer a wary look. Malodore's Stats Character: L.C. Mei was already quite irritated by the time she ended up in this place. So when she started towards the fragment, and got herself electrocuted only to have the damn thing disappear on her, her mood worsened. Things possibly couldn't get any worse now, could they? ...dumb question.Quote: HP: 15 / 30

The cwn pup's reaction sent Dexxy scurrying backwards to huddle down behind his master. Thackery had not quite expected either of the minipets' responses, but he swallowed the lump in his throat and tried to continue on anyway. "It's me!" Well, duh. Thankfully, he realized how stupid he'd just been and corrected himself before too much damage was done. "Um, Thackery I mean. I don't guess you'd have seen me as a real Cerberus or anything before, so it's okay, don't worry!" The kitsupeito began to slowly emerge from her hiding place, which offered just as good a chance as any to introduce her, as well. "And this is Dexxy, short for Dext..r..er...just Dexxy is okay." He offered an apologetic smile, hoping that his rambling was not too off-putting. "Anyway! Are you okay? We made it out all right, I...think, but it's pretty weird down here." Its voice trailed off, and it raised its head, peering around. It had to admit, this body had a very flexible neck. Useful. " Si, I am all right. And this is Luce... it is novel to speak with her, I must admit." Luce's ears perked a bit at the sound of her name, but she did not break her silence. "Though I wish I knew what was going on, and why, and this place - it looks like an ill-mannered scientist ran roughshod over it, leaving discards everywhere." Malodore's Stats Character: L.C. Evidently, water and treats didn't mix so well as it turned out.
When the water rose quickly, Ryan, like the others had been dropped into the next area, but the result, he was now waterlogged, or he would be once he was out of this place. Who knew that his fluffy little coat would act as a freaking sponge! Fortunately, being currently submerged in water, made little difference.
"And I thought the fluff was bad before..." He grumbled, followed by a sudden shock when he realized he was breathing--and speaking underwater. Was that even possible? Did these creatures have gills as well as wings?
He was about to check, reaching up to feel his neck, when something blinked to life in front of him.
Something shiny!
Mesmerized by it and without thinking he made a grab for it. Successfully snatching it out from the air. Though now that he had it, he could have sworn that it was making a strange screeching noise.Quote: HP: 25/30

Water had never been a big deal to the black dog. But being swept away and then dropped into somewhere without any knowledge of where you were headed was a frightening experience. Especially when you were stuck with being the size of a minipet. Seriously! The sooner he was back to his proper size the better!
That aside...
The black dog looked down, at the castle. Growing more and more confused by the second at what he was seeing.

The acknowledgement of how awesome it was to really be able to talk to their pets made Thackery perk up a bit, his tail wagging sluggishly in the strange atmosphere. Meanwhile, Dexxy's tentative slinking finally carried her to stand next to the little Cerberus Minor, where she currently attempted her best doe-eyes at the two strangers. Love me, they said. "Oh, good," he exhaled. "Yes! I wish I could talk to ALL of my pets! But we couldn't really find them anywhere. Hopefully they're not down here too. It's um....yeah, I think that's a good description of it." He paused for a moment to take another look around before attempting to wiggle the shard he'd found out of his collar again. "I did find this...thing?" He wasn't really sure what to even call it. "It was stuck in a minipet and the minipet was going crazy. Do you recognize whatever it is?" Something was .. floating? By some strange formed minipet. Thinking nothing of the other minipet Tikaanis found her self reaching for the piece of a fragment of something crystal like. The hunter was attacked by the gnashing teeth of the minipet. It grabbed her but the hunter, frantic to get away, kicked the creature. It floated off else where leaving Tikaanis to grab hold of the fragment and claim it for her self. The hunter stashed the fragment in her pelt where she'd stored the key earlier. Tikaanis was pretty sure she didn't want to fight with anymore minipets over fragments however tempted she was to float over and grab one. Maybe she'd try again later. For now the little mini Tikaanis wanted to find her friends or at least some other might be hunters gone mini. She floated there and eyed other floating minipets off to the distance. Her little crystal wings fluttered a little propelling her forward gently. A dark figure ahead was one she did not see until it was to late. Tikaanis bumped in to the rear of a dark looking minipet. She quickly propelled her self backwards a little in shock. Was this minipet like the one she'd faced earlier? Would there be a fight? "Uh.." Mini Tikaanis just hoovered there for a moment and prepared her self in case of the worst. Thackery yelped, surprised, diverting his attention away from the fragment to look at Luce. "We already met with words!" he cried. He normally might have taken it as an invitation for PLAYTIME HOORAY, but he didn't want to be impolite, and it would be especially rude to encourage her when he master wished otherwise. "But we can play later, when we get out of here. Or any time you want!" Dexxy ran cheerful circles around all of them, singing "play play play" with each little bounce. Fortunately for Tikaanis, Tybalt had yet to figure out there were even hunters among them. So when she bumped into him his reaction was a simple one of--
"Huh?" He craned his head around, blinking owlishly at the other minipet. "Oh, you are... ummm...." His voiced trailed off. Unsure of who he was addressing. "Err, sorry, the minipet form is throwing off my guess... You are?"

This dark dogs minipet voice wasn't one she recognized. Though to be perfectly fair she wasn't well acquainted with a lot of the new hunters let alone some of the old ones to really question if Tybalt was a student or a hunter. The clearness of who was who wasn't so vitally important to her at the time as much as getting unstuck as a minipet was. "Tikaanis," She gave her real name and eyed the dark dog mini.
