Everything was put on pause when what looked like a neon rainbow descended from out of nowhere to rain on their parade.
Senga had absolutely no idea what an acid trip was, and he didn't exactly care to find out, but this thing was making him nauseous and all he knew was that he really wanted it to stop. Jupiter's balls.
Popping up to his feet, the newly made mini scrutinized his paws. How was he supposed to do much damage with these? Maybe his fangs would work better instead... -
Oh well, there was only one way to find out.

Tybalt watched as the light crashed into the earth. He had no idea what it was, but him being the curious black dog that he was, decided he could investigate further. Though, to be honest he wasn't expecting to find--
"A minipet?"
One would think, in a place like this, he would have expected as much. But apparently, his common sense was late to kick in.
The minipet was odd, however. It was strangely marked and every step it took, the ground swirled and its surroundings distorted. Was that a normal thing in these parts? Were minis more bizarre than he gave them credit for? Worse yet, everything was getting pulled in towards it and that, he could tell, was not normal. In fact, it looked down right dangerous and though it went against his very nature to even think about harming a minipet, they needed to stop this thing--before they all became a victim to it.
Too bad he was still a minipet himself.
Tybalt attempted to attack it, but his attack was clumsy and half assed. In fact, rather than an attack, he ended up flailing most of the time, barely touching the otokoyo. It was quite pathetic really.
"For Jack's sake! This is bloody ridiculous! I want my old body back! The one that can actually do something!" He all but howled with rage at this point, frustrated beyond belief.Quote: HP: 25/30

With a yelp, all of Thackery's festivities came to a halt. The light was startling in itself, but something appeared to be approaching them, descending from the glorious minipet heavens. And when it finally revealed itself, he knew why it came from above. It was a god. A god of Otokoyos. He'd thought the day could not possibly get any better, but he was wrong. So wrong. He was in the presence of something amazing here, and he couldn't pass up the opportunity to greet the otherworldly creature. "Hi, oh, wow, um, okay," he began, trying to shield his eyes with a stubby little arm. It was largely ineffective. "This sure is an honor, but...we kind of can't look at you, so, ow--" He winced as he drew closer to it, stumbling over something that he could have sworn wasn't there before. His depth perception seemed to be thrown all off by whatever aura the Otokoyo God was exuding. Desperately, he reached out to touch it, but smacked against it instead. Oh no. Oh no. He'd struck the God of Otokoyos. Thackery just flopped down and wanted to die. Faction: Cerberus Demon Element: Dark Location: Closet Entrance HP: 30/30 Turns: 0/3 Boss HP: 19/50

The day just kept getting better an better.
Not only were they stuck in some colour twisted landscape and stuck as strange little animals--minipets--whatever they were. But now there was some bizarre and warped creature? It didn't look harmless. Then again, considering it just came crashing down from the heavens and any surroundings close to it were becoming distorted, Ryan was willing to reconsider that last part. Besides, it was a creature of Fear. There was no doubt that no matter how small and weak they looked, it was still a little ferocity in its own right. In fact, this one seemed strong enough to do its own fair share of damage. Especially considering they were all still minipets themselves.
They were practically harmless...
Unfortunately, it didn't look as though there was any other option, but to fight. They were going to have to attack this thing and dispose of it themselves. Or try to anyways. They had to try at least. Which he did. Punching the otokoyo as best as he could manage with the little fists that this body provided. Which of course, hardly did a thing.
At least after this was all over, he could try and find out just which of these creatures were hunters, and which... weren't.

Fai jerked, looking around curiously as the world was sucked in--then decided that that wasn't necessarily a good thing. So he raced forward, slamming his shoulder into the creature. However pleased she had been, however, their reunion would not last long. The minipet which approached could not be ignored as the color began to drain from the very environment around it, blinding them with its sheer brightness. Even out of the corner of her eye, Eris felt the urge to look away from the blinding light, uttering an almost unsettled equine scream as memories of blinding WHITE threatened her sanity. NO! It could not be, she would not succumb to another hunter trap!

Shaheen saw the weird rainbow distortion thing. Shaheen did not like it. She got to her feet and not so gracefully bounded over towards it to give it a swipe on the nose. This time when Lily readied her orb to throw it again it began do give off a faint glowing light, it popped back from the creature with such force Lily hurt herself trying to catch it again.

▸ ▸ senga is currently roaming the closet entrance / battling a boss.Pleased - and extremely relieved - that this was in fact Eris, the Protector, his tail wagged back and forth, even though the Otokoyo's distortion of everything around them was making everything ten times worse. His paws felt sideways and hard to control, and the ground seemed almost slippery beneath his feet. It didn't stop him from loping over to the pony-turned-protector, pressing his muzzle into her flank when she fumbled to get back up. "Are you okay?" He questioned quietly, tail wavering back and forth as Shaheen lept to attack the distorted dog-thing too. It just wouldn't die.
Senga gave out a low woof of irritation, biting at it with his teeth and lunging for the neck. It wasn't very savage or fierce considering how fluffy he was, but hey, at least he was making the most of his new body. Who knew how long he'd be stuck in it, after all.
Afterwards, he backpedaled/wobbled his way next to Shaheen and Eris, and rather sadly stated, "I'm starting to miss my wings."Menu > Stats Senga : War ClanFaction: Horsemen.

As the last hit collided, the creature began to dissolve, flesh melting into skeleton and then simply bits and pieces of colour, leaving a single floating object behind brimming with miasma -
- It hovered, floating quite a bit rather unstably in the air, threatening to suck everyone into the distortion around it.
OOC - Congrats all battlers! You can now prize claim for the boss fight HERE. - The ??? object is floating in the air but it will take some effort to get there, as it radiates a strange pulse, one that pushes everyone back each step they try to take to get close to it. - If you are trying to grab the object, roll a 100-sided dice. If you roll 90-or higher, your minipet manages to get close enough - hopefully they can swim. You can only try for it once.

Mei's eyes grew wide at the shiny floating there. So pretty! She wanted it so bad but she just couldn't get to it. Its pulses pushing her back until finally she just gave up on ever trying to get to to. Maybe another shiny will appear....eventually.
