Kamryn stared at one of his role models in confusion. He wondered what was wrong, and with a sigh, he walked to where Kyri and Mona had previously been and laid down.
Kyrielle smiled as Mona followed her as they went to see Aila.
Cecelia sighed. "I screwed up Damir. That's what. I'm not perfect either. And now...now I'm stuck with my mistakes..." She said frustratingly at him.

Kai left.. Simple as that.. He turned and trotted away.. feeling less and less constrained the farther he got, until he was merely a speck in the sky,
Thalanir went over to Kamryn and sat down beside the foal. "You'll get to that stage too, Kamryn." He said softly, offering to pet the foal.
Damir shook his head at Cecelia. "Whatever you did... I forgive you.." Damir said softly. Even though he hurt inside, wondering what she had done, he knew that he could not blame her, not after breaking his promise to her.

This caused tears to fall even faster, falling from her face making a small wet spot in the dirt. "I don't deserve you Damir. I left when you needed me most. I...I can't live without you but I don't deserve you..." Her words cut short as sobbing ensued.
Kamryn leaned back against the human male with a sigh. "Why is it that everyone is always leaving, Thalanir? Daddy is always going somewhere..Cecelia has been gone for practically my whole life. I thought she was daddy's mate? And now Kai doesn't even want to be around me...was it something my mother did?" People always seemed to be leaving him and he didn't understand why.

Thalanir sighed as he pet the poor foal. "Damir and Cecelia.. are going through a hard time... You're grandma died.. and Damir went a bit.. haywire.. when he left.. He didn't know what to do, and then he met your mother.. Now your mother isn't a bad person, not at all, but when you and your sister were produced, It made Damir feel really bad, because he had promised Cecelia he would never hurt her.. but by being with Melody he had hurt her.. So.. Cece left because she just didn't know what to do.." Thalanir sighed, this really wasn't stuff a young colt would understand. "Its not because of you, Kamryn.. Your Daddy and Cecelia just have some things to figure out.. Neither of them were ready for kids or a strong relationship when they met, and with the war.. there's so much going on that its just too much at times.. And Kailyn loves you buddy, you're his buddy.. but he's almost never left the glen.. and that in itself is driving him crazy.." He answered as best as he could.
Damir sighed and lightly headbutted Cecelia. "You may not feel as if you deserve me.. but I certainly don't deserve you.. I don't deserve those foals that call me daddy, I don't deserve Kyrielle.. yet.. I have been graced and blessed by them, because they love me... Just like I love you... Thats all I need from you, Cecelia... your love... Nothing else..."

Kamryn listened to what the human was telling him. "Is my daddy a bad person for being with my mommy instead of Cecelia?" He asked suddenly, looking up at him.
A light hollow laugh escaped Cece's mouth at the playful headbutt. "I am with foals...Damir..." She said quietly, still keeping her head turned away, afraid to see what look might be on his face. The mare had only discovered it here recently, with the slight bulging of her stomach, the constant nag of hunger and the mood swings.

Damir swallowed, once... twice, before he nodded. He didn't ask what he wanted.. She would tell him if she wanted to. "Cecelia.. I would raise and treat them as my own..." He said softly, his cool blue eyes showing that he only spoke the truth.
Thalanir shook his head. "No, he is not. He is simply..." Thalanir tried to find the word, though he couldn't say 'human'. "He is an imperfect being, like me, like you, like your sister, like Kyrielle... like everyone. He is only Damir.. and we all make mistakes in our life, but they make us better and good things usually come from them. Like you and your sister."

Cecelia sobbed even more. How could he be so forgiving when she could not be? Why couldn't she forgive as easily as he? What was wrong with her? She shouted at herself frustratingly. "He...he doesn't know yet...I haven't seen him again yet...though he will undoubtedly want to know his children..." How could she even begin to explain how she had met Helios? She really couldn't, she thought.
"Oh...I..I think I understand." Kamryn said cutely. "What daddy did may not have been good. But the outcome of it was?" He asked.

Thalanir rustled the foal's short mane. "Exactly. It was very good." He chuckled and pulled out a sugar cube, offering it to the foal.
Damir sighed. "Cece.. I don't care.. I don't care who it was.. I only care.. that I love you, and I will love your foals if you let me..."

Kammy smiled and took the offered sugar cube. "Thalanir? You're Cecelia's bonded right? What...what is so special about her? Every one seems to love her for some reason or another...Daddy does, Kyrielle does, you do but that is understandable, Kai does, Mona does. I...I don't get it. She's never here so why does everyone love her?" Yes, Kamryn has some mommy issues.
At this point Cecelia whipped around, her head finding his shoulder as she leaned into him. Glad to have his familiar scent by her again as she relished his touch.

Kammy sighed, he just didn't understand that really. If family stuck together, where was his real mommy?
Cecelia nudged in closer to him. "I...I want that too Damir." She had heard everything he had said, and honestly wanted that back. She had been without him for too long now.

Thalanir sighed. "You're real mommy didn't want to be a mommy.. So Damir took you and Mona.. But I'm sure she'll want to come visit you some day, if not, you can go find her yourself, bud. When you're older. He felt something warm slip into his heart.. no Cecelia's.. Her heart was mending and he could feel it. It made him feel lightheaded and dizzy.

Kamryn just looked at the human. He hoped what he was being told was true. He had such mixed feelings about so many things he just didn't know what to do.
Cecelia smiled gently at Damir. "This time away from you Damir, has told me that I want the same. I couldn't imagine my life without you. I want to be your lifemate." She replied.
