While Mitsu had finally indeed, freed herself, another shadowy tentacle popped out from under the door, smacked Leo rather dramatically on the face as if to say no-no, bad ghoul and then went back on its merry way. A strange, ominous feeling seemed to pervade from within Hellma's office, a cold gripping feeling that chilled even the heartiest of student visitors with promises of something called the Princess room. The key in Mitsu's hand seemed to glimmer a muted gold.
The box absolutely would not open, as Lou would notice, though it did clang and jangle slightly, bits of gold falling off to reveal more of the gold engraved lock.
Thackery would find himself the next key master, or really key purveyor, who now owned an extensive few pages of a secret key glossary (parts of it taken from The Field Guide Edition to Evil Boss Keys And More!) and the key in Mitsu's hand was by no means an exception. It clearly outlined the exact key in her hand and a name: Office Casket Key.
Flipping over the photo revealed to Taima that it was timestamped almost fifteen years back. It also had a strange series of numbers engraved on it: 45- 52-16/ 188.
The shredder squealed and clung to West every second in a way only an animated shredder piece of office supply could do, cord lashing back and forth angrily. The rest of the pieces of paper revealed only more timed appointments featuring everything from The Other Bathroom to a small snippet about boogeymen and then-
Halloween Daily - 4:00pm. There was no further message as to what that snipped of paper possibly entailed. OOC - The office can still be explored more or players can of course interact with other players currently in there! Make sure to post explorations in bold red.

Shun leaned over to try and see what key this one in particular might be. 'Orifice basket key?' ... He just remained silent. Chances were he read that wrong. He really hoped he had read that wrong. Because that just sounded wrong. Hearing a crash of sorts behind him, he saw a golden box of sorts. Hm. The box was gold. The key was gold. Perhaps there was a connection here. "Try using it on that box," he suggested.

Right, it was better to keep quiet during a covert operation. It seemed as if Mort and the rest were taking this eavesdropping business very seriously. She decided shouldn't disturb them then, and the ghoul nodded at the boil and left him to listen at the door. Edel took a few steps back to allow those who were more keen to get closer, as well to to move away from a certain flame demon who was being excessively noisy as usual. Better not stand too close, lest she gets caught by association. Lucky thing she didn't get waved to as well.
The ghoul was quite content watching the other students trying to make out what was going on behind the door until she was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of Muka, elbowing her playfully no less.
“It's been a while!” she whispered, grinning at her friend. A while indeed, the strix was looking a little different. “You're looking rather prosperous there my friend,” she giggled.
Oops, time to run. The ghoul tagged along as the students dispersed from the bathroom and headed back to the office to wait. Looks like the other students have managed to find themselves a chest and a few keys .... and a whole lot of trouble if they got caught. She would try to stay out of it though, despite the burning curiosity within her. Better not offend the secretary when she had a favour to ask of him after all ....
The ghoul found her way back next to Muka, poking him teasingly before asking, “How have you been?” She had also remembered how was sure she had caught sight of the strix dancing with a ghoul at prom ... ah, how exciting!

"A key...?" Lizzy's brow furrowed as she stared at the thing in Mitsu's hand. When Thackery's book revealed what it was, she tilted her head, looking genuinely confused, "Office... Casket key?" What was a casket doing in the office? Unless they used it as a way to store something... Which would be pretty cool, actually.
Thackery's explanation only caused only thought to pop up in her mind, "Is Mister Arel searching for... The key to someone's heart?" Cue QB's class effect of sparkle, sparkle, sparkle- It ceased when she realized that there wasn't someone to ship Arel with. At least, not that she know of, "Sorry, that was silly..."
Her cheeks might had turned a pale shade of pink.
"Are you sure we should open things without permi-" A pause; they had done things worse than opening a box. Besides, as a high school student, doing such things once in a while... This was pretty exciting, actually, especially since... If that really was Hellma who had grabbed onto Mitsu just now, the fact that she didn't come out of her room, and put them all in detention for making so much noise, made her wonder if maybe the headmistress wanted them here.
That or some headmistresses just want to watch the world burn.
"Do it, Mitsu, do it!" She egged her friend on, looking at the direction of the two students with the box, "But, be sure to ask permission from the boil... And that other boil... Uh, I believe that his name is Yin?" She vaguely remembered him from the 'Silk Webs' special event thing held in her room, several Octobers ago, near Scarentines, but the name of the boil-with-pretty-awesome-hair was lost on her.
Casting side glances at the other students around, she realized that she knew all of them, with the exception of... The ghoul who got smacked by Hellma. She offered her a sheepish smile, "Hi, by the way! My name's Lizzy... Uh, I don't believe we've ever met?" A small, small part of her was cautious, and she felt bad for guarding herself against people she had never met before, but... Better safe than sorry, right?
It didn't make her feel any better about having to do so, though.

Was this boil... A special needs scareling? After Lou's failure at opening the box, he shrugged and let the little derp have a go. Better his shoes than the vampire's.
"Well good job my little potato child. You get a gold star for the effort!" The boil reached into his pocket and grabbed... A gold star sticker?! Why the hell did he have those?
Either way, one gold star ended up on Yin's forehead. Lou wasn't sure which was going to be more fun, the part where he told the boil he'd been mistaken all along or if he figured it out himself. For now though, this served his purposes much better.
The vampire boil scooped the box up into his hands and looked around at the couple of people pointing towards them. "Hey now. Finders keypers." What an awful pun...
Oh. Wait. Well if it wasn't dog ghoul and her strawberry shortcake sidekick. what fun! The boil seemed to have a complete change of heart.
"Yes my dear. Come stick your key in my hole so magical things can happen." Anything to get one more innuendo out. "And introduce me to your pink haired friend." The boil sent a wink Lizzy's way before holding up the box to be violated opened with the key.

Ow, that smack had hurt. Leo rubbed her cheek, almost pouting as she did so. Turning to the pretty ghoul who'd addressed her, she returned the smile with a friendly grin. "I'm Leo. No, I don't think we've met before, but nice to meet you now!" She sent another friendly grin over to the approaching boil with the box, glad that he seemed to be on the same page as everyone else. It made sense, after all - he had a box that needed unlocked, they had a key. Couldn't get more logical than that. She inched closer to the boil, interested to see what the box would contain.

(Super sorry for lack of reply ;A; I was out sick all day yesterday)
More students filed in, Yin included, a ghoul with dreadlocks, Jove, and others. He nodded at the dreadlocked ghoul. "Help is always appreciated." Tags were wagging all over, as King looked to Mitsu and gave a small whine, tail stopping the wagging. Ear only drooped as Alex arrived with the news.
As some students went to work on the box, Thackery grabbed his attention. So that was the Key that had been taken from him. "Hrm, it is also possible he has lost the key he needs, and now seeks a replacement. Or he is as you say, a key thief."
Sighing, he sniffed the air, following the scent of cider. Arel should know better than to have- A thought flickered in his head. The secretary had been very... defensive of the picture of defenders, and with the trance only convincing Frost that he'd been misled- the secretary liked cider? Perhaps it would be good to use as a way to coax information from the short demon.
Going to under the desk, King began to look for some cider to 'borrow'.
"The secretary has secrets, and there might be something here with which to barter out from him."

"It's nice to meet you too, Leo!" Lizzy eased into a grin at the ghoul's friendly disposition.
When the boil came over with the box, she blushed at the wink, although the blush was not nearly at Mac-levels yet. She wasn't even sure why she blushed in the first place, because that was most definitely just a wink... And he was most definitely just talking about opening the box with a key. As if trying to make herself feel less silly about blushing at the boil, she smiled, "I'm Lizzy. It's a pleasure to meet you...?" She waited for a name, wondering why Shun and Mitsu hadn't introduced him, if they knew who he was.

It didn't take long before Shun realized who it was that had the box. "I didn't realize you swung that way," he said flatly. He frowned as Lizzy went on to greet the smut-minded vampire. If she watched she might have picked up on the fact that he didn't really care for this guy a whole lot.

No no no no no. No taking gifts from strange ghouls. He had issues taking gifts from most ghouls (Miss Danny excluded and as well as teas with purpose from Miss Xiu-Ying). He could not just allow this ghoul to give him gold, even if it was a small amount and on some foreign substance. The ghoul probably just had a bit of a screw loose, she somehow thought that he was part potato. Potatoes were vegetables, and therefore vile things. Walking up behind the vampire he cleared his throat, not wanting to interrupt the introductions but finding it necessary. "Excuse me Miss but there is no need to reward me." He was not sure how to hand the star over with the Miss' hands full with the box, so he just tried his best to put it back where it apparently belonged. On one's forehead. The ghoul might look a bit more feminine with a nice, decorative star on her forehead. Sexy Cocaine For the real star of the show *A* (PS, Yin has no issues. Really.)

It was difficult to harness the power of the ninja with a pissed off shredder hanging off of your ruined pants, but West was making an effort. He continued prodding it whenever it got too rowdy, but for the most part, he left it alone. It had to get tired of demon flesh eventually, right? Right? He peered around the bustling office, then took a few dragging steps toward Levi, holding the scrap of paper out to the ghoul while he looked to see what had her attention. "Th' Daily's a newspaper?" he asked. What were they doing? Keys, locks, boxes? It was like some prissy jewelry box party. At least the multitude of other things in the room kept focus off of them.

Shehk had totally come back before Pach was too busy to post this. Really.
Which left the Pricolici to begin sniffing about the room curiously, her ears laid back as she seemed to be going the route of so many canines before her. Hmmmmm. Maybe there was interesting stuff around there - well, it seemed like people were finding all sorts of things, but Shehk soon took it upon herself to go check to make sure nobody was coming. Since they still needed to keep guard when they were all so willing to snoop in the middle of the day.
