Riku chuckled "Well I kind of have to in order to actually use you in battle. I can use most any weapon so that shouldn't be a worry."

Metatron had taken a moment to close his eyes and take a deep breath. Suddenly, he emmitted a flash of white light and appeared as an amazing 10 foot long, Japanese halberd.

Riku took the weapon i his hands "This is nice." He said with a smile. He spun it around a few times and performed a few combos of slashes and stabs with the weapon "Ya, I can work with this." He laughed.

Riku stepped up to a dummy and took an assessment of it. He quickly spun, aiming the blade at the dummies leg and chopping about halfway through it, he puled it back towards him to rip the leg and get the weapon back and as soon as it was out he flicked it up and caught the dummy on the chin, digging the blade into it he turned it and ripped away the material, leaving a big hole in the dummy.

 Reiko walked into the sparring room casually, she was touring the facility in order to get a quick assessment of where she should spend her time. She looked around at the people and the rows of dummies and practice weapons and smiled halfheartedly. It was nice but it didn't seem like a place she would spend to much time, she liked the other training spots more. She sat down against a wall and started watching the people spar each other, she wanted to get a know of how good the people here were and so far she wasn't impressed.

 Marceline had made her way into the sparring room, looking around she seen no one that looked like they'd impress her. The female walked to the back of the room, picking a punching bag and went at it going full pace not breaking a sweat. She missed once with a kick "damn it" kicking it a second time causing it to go flying of the chain that held it to the ceiling "that's the second one this week.".

Reiko kept watching the people in the room and saw Marceline miss one of her kicks. She giggled a little but then saw that she had kicked the bag off of the chain it was on. She smiled and well, was impressed, it took a lot of strength to be able to do that. Reiko stayed sitting, watching others but trying to keep focused on the girl as well, hoping she would do something to really impress.

The female looked over at Reiko who had giggled when she missed one of her kicks "what are you giggling at?" Marceline snapped at her before turning back to the punching bags before her, wondering what to do next she had grown bored of kicking and punching them. There had to be something here she could destroy.

Reiko shrugged "Oh nothing, but I do have to say. Your skills are very impressive, not many people could kick a bag off of the chain." She said with a smile. She stood up and walked over to her, moving her blonde hair out of her eyes "I'm Reiko, or Rei for short, what's your name?"

The female turned away from the punching bags, narrowing her eyes starring at the girl "Marceline." She looked Reiko over she seemed too happy, or something then again she thought anything that was happy was weird here anymore.

Reiko looked the girl over, she seemed a little grumpy in her eyes. Rei smiled at Marceline, thinking of how she could cheer her up. She highly doubted that she could do anything at the moment but maybe later. She walked over to a punching back next to Marceline and looked at it, she felt it to assess just how stable it was and once she drew her conclusion she backed up a few steps and put her hands up to her face, balled into fists in a boxing style stance. She loosened her body and did a few quick jabs and crosses before jumping and spinning, landing a perfect jump spin heel kick on the bag. Just before making contact with the bag she turned her heel into a blade and cut right through it. She landed on her feet perfectly and turned around to look at Marceline as the sand fell to the ground.

"I was going to use that, but you didn't do half bad for a first year," Marceline was some what impressed she had done better then most people she had seen around here. She looked at the clock before looking over at Reiko again "aren't you supposed to be in class?" giving a little smile after she spoke. After walking to the left wall Marceline gathered and pushed her soul wave length to her hand before punching the wall. There was a loud boom, dust and bites of concrete went flying after the female had punched the wall leaving a giant hole. She turned to Reiko again smiling laughing a bit "beat that first year."
