Once Mitsu jumped, Shun's legs tightened around her to make sure he was firmly on her backside. He leaned forward, grasping onto her fur. Hearing Mitsu's plea, he nodded silently and straightened up a bit to try and reach out for the falling Valkyrie.

Just to add insult to injury, he kicked her away as well. The reaper let out a sharp hiss as his foot connected with her…but now she was laughing as she fell through the air seeing her spear get him. She dismissed the weapon…and was content to not look at the rapidly approaching ground. Maybe she could just hope to Jack that she’d land in a way that she’d dissipate and—
“Oof!” Hel’s body jerked as she was caught. The ghoul’s eyes were as wide as saucers as a hand snatched out to grasp onto Shun tightly, the other fisting into Mitsu’s fur as she landed on the lycan as well. Well…this certainly caught her by surprise.

Hel had been caught! Mitsu just wished there was someone to catch her. As before as she descended toward the ground her legs began to lock up in fear. With her two passengers in tow Mitsu knew she was going to have to make an easier landing or risk hurting them all including herself.
It was a forced effort, her legs not really wanting to relax as they drew closer. Finally at the last moment her legs bent and she was able to land with a bit of a bounce to her step taking a few long quick strides until she was able to slow to a stop. It still hadn't been the most graceful of landings and even now on the ground the fear made her legs buckle and Mitsu found herself laying down to keep from full out collapsing. Oh sweet ground.

The demon had just started to reach for the spear in his side when it was suddenly gone. Hissing in pain he pressed a hand to the wound, lowering his eyes as the reaper was suddenly caught by her friends. Sneering Titus didn't stick around and instead took off back toward the demon dorms to nurse his wound.

It wasn't too smooth, but they had Hel now. Shun gripped onto her while holding tightly to his lycan, getting ready to brace for the incoming impact. The landing was a bit rough too, but they were safe. Letting out a breath once they were on the ground, he released the Valkyrie, and scratched Mitsu behind the ear.
"Good work. You faced one of your fears to save a friend," he said to her.
He knew it couldn't have been easy for her once being in the air like that.

It was a bit of a blur between being caught and the rough landing they had just experience, and all the while Hel could just only sit there shell-shocked.
Once Mitsu had landed and sprawled out onto the ground, Hel just ended up slowing looking back between Shun and Mitsu. The ghoul’s mouth hung open in utter surprise, and the look on her face showed that she was still trying to process the fact that Shun and Mitsu had worked together to save her from falling. They had saved her. Saved her. They didn’t have to, but they did.
If Hel was a lesser ghoul, she’d be balling like a b***h right now about having great friends and how touched she was.
Instead, she continued to look between the two, and shakily a hand came up to grasp Shun’s shoulder firmly. He wasn’t a hugger, she knew, so she tried to convey how grateful she was as she squeezed his shoulder. Mitsu though? Mitsu she could hug, and she did. Hel released Shun’s shoulder and wrapped her arms around the Lycan’s neck as best as she could, burying her face into the soft white fur.
“Thank you.”

At least they were all on the ground now, safe and in one piece. That was all Mitsu really cared about and the fact that it seemed Titus was gone. Or at least he wasn't pestering them at the moment.
Letting out a sigh of relief she tilted her head toward the ear scratching, letting out a happy whimper in return. It wasn't long after that she felt arms around her neck and Hel's voice by her ear. Tilting her head back she smiled the best she could in her canine form which really looked like she was baring her teeth. The only that that offset it from looking scary was the tongue lolling out of her mouth. "We've got your back." Mitsu promised. Hel was after all part of the pack, it only made sense to help her in her time of need even if the circumstances leading up to it hadn't been ideal.

Now that they were down, Shun petted Mitsu a little more, then went ahead and dismounted. He glanced to Hel briefly as she clasped his shoulder. He didn't say anything in return, but he did nod to her. Their beef was done with, so it felt natural to help her out in that bind just now.
As for Titus.
Well he wasn't even looking for the demon right now.
Letting out a breath, he continued to idly stroke his lycan's fur.

Her chest felt tight as she continued to hug onto Mitsu, nuzzling the ghoul’s fur for a few moments before she finally released her. The reaper rolled off of her and to the side, kneeling near by to scratch behind an ear as well. She didn’t know what else she could say at the moment without ruining it, so it was one of those rare moments that Hel kept quiet and just enjoyed it. Titus…she’d definitely have to keep an eye out for him.
She couldn’t let him do anything to these two…most certainly not.
