I'll hack into that pitiful firewall of yours... He immediately saw her tactics at the moment - attack him first and ask questions later. Ariyoul thought back swiftly to the efficiency of his kicks, and began to lash out with his legs at a fast pace, taking the Lolita Chopper head-on.
"Oh, what shall I do if you cut me with an instrument like yours?" Ariyoul asked innocently, frowning.
The hacker, still far more than simply prepared, ducked slightly, having his leg strike out towards the heel Roxie had spun on. ...until I can destroy your system completely!" Dumbfound, the girl couldn't believe her attacks weren't working. He easily countered, evaded and shrug off everything she threw at him. As she attempted to back away, Ariyoul tripped her and made Roxanne fall down with her guitar laid across her. Her immediate action was to push her skirt down as she sat up before trying scoot away backwards. But there was a problem, her back had hit the stage which meant there was no place to run. 'O-Oh no...' she whimpered to herself, the girl trying to put on a brave face before the man.Roxie's Stats HP: 165/500

I'll hack into that pitiful firewall of yours... Ariyoul's face almost reddened at Roxie's immediate action at tripping, and he shook his head to rid himself of the embarrassing moment he had there. The hacker saw her situation and held back a little as he threw a couple kicks at her and her guitar before leaping backwards, huffing. She must be as exhausted as he was. Taking advantage of the situation, he nearly rabbit-hopped and shimmied up to the boards lining the ceiling. He planned to stay on them.
He did have to applaud her a little, catching him off guard like that - it wouldn't happen again. He won't let it. Deliberately tracing his fingers along the rail, Ariyoul panted silently. He could afford to let out a few attacks with the last drops of energy remaining in his body.

Positioning the guitar in front of her, she succeeded in protecting herself from the boy's harsh attacks. Talk about kicking someone when they were down. She closed her eyes when he began kicking, only to open them to find nicks and scratched on her beloved guitar. Roxie's lip quivered as she ran her hand along the damages, a tear falling on the instrument. If it wasn't for her voice, it could've been her entry fee as she cherished it so. Ariyoul had retreated, could he have been tired? She was tired too and not just physically. If that was the case, the girl refused to let him rest! Using her Ovis pin, a lightning bolt would attempt to strike Ariyoul from above.Roxie's Stats HP: 165/500

I'll hack into that pitiful firewall of yours... Throwing his leg out in front of him, Ariyoul made a successful reaction in blocking the Ovis with his own lightning crackling around his right leg, directing the electricity to the wall opposite him. The idea dawned on him that she was keeping him from resting - they were attacking at about the same pace. The hacker gritted his teeth, panting silently. Roxie's instrument was now virtually unusable at the moment, wasn't it? Same with his current, weaker arm...
He ran his icy gaze over Roxie's face, stretching on the beam his body was laid out on comfortably. Painfully, the male wiped the sweat and dirt littering his youthful face. The only word flickering in his mind was "climax."
"Do you like roses, little sparrow? Their looks are so deceiving."
Exhaustion flooded his body, something he couldn't deny in the slightest.
"This is the ultimate time of the hacking, where you find out whether your efforts worked successfully, or your hacking was a failure, and you're locked out. Roxie frowned, wiping her tears as she saw her attack easily deflected once again. Close range or short range, he could counter her every attack easily. 'Just how strong is he?' the girl wondered, getting up on her feet. At his sudden and random question about roses, she wasn't sure what he was trying to say. In any case, Ariyoul seemed just about invincible. But wait, there was one thing that always worked on him. Despite it being dented and scratched up, the strings were still in tact. The sound would be altered but it could definitely still make sound. With the last of her strength, she struck the guitar with her pick, firing a sound wave in Ariyoul's direction.Roxie's Stats HP: 165/500

Youko Kenshi ((Sorry for taking FOOORREEEVVEEERRR, but I was having a serious writers block v.v)) -w- I'll hack into that pitiful firewall of yours... He was exhausted, to the point where he could hardly move a muscle. Wincing as he realized the sound wave was zipping towards him, he cursed under his breath, realizing that was one of the assets she had that he had never been able to respond efficiently to. While he had never been able to avoid it, there was one thing he hadn't dared think of. He mustered up the last of his strength to throw off his hoodie and launch the article towards the wave. As he watched his precious jacket flutter from the air, he felt his spirits drop. He loved that hoodie. He'll have to get another one soon, then, wouldn't he?
Hoarsely, he huffed, sprawled out on the railing without the potential to fall off. He had no fear of death - why would he need to be afraid? Ariyoul closed his eyes, the smell of burning things wafting to him.

Overcome with exhaustion, the guitarist fell to her knees, huffing and puffing for air. Yet again, he blocked her attack, though barely by sacrificing the hoodie her flagged around throughout the fight. It wouldn't work again, now torn up and seperated from him, which meant her next attack would hit for sure...unless Ariyoul went so far as to strip. The very thought made Roxie turn red in the face and as much as she wanted to turn away, she had to keep an eye on him. Looking beside her, she drew a rose in the dust that had gathered, the flower now on her mind since her aggressive opponent mentioned it, as well as a question mark beside it. Should Ariyoul look, he'd see her pointing at, the picture asking what he meant by the rose.Roxie's Stats HP: 165/500

As Roxie had predicted, Ariyoul did happen to open his eyes and loll his head to the side to keep the girl in sight, gazing curiously at what she was pointing at. She had designed a rose in the dust, and he began to laugh, looking up at the ceiling now. He thought over his reply to the girl, before striking upon an odd but accurate enough answer:
"Ah, the rose... You're curious about it? They are beautiful and weak, yet are so very 'dangerous,' they say. Think of them like me - I'm the malicious program that is harmless-looking, isn't that right? I would assume you thought I was a perfectly normal person in the transmission of our fight."
Feeling his face heat up a little, he sat up hurriedly and spat, "I did not just call myself beautiful."

The girl looked up at Ariyoul as he spoke, blinking in confusion. Was he really comparing himself to a rose? Somehow, it didn't seem accurate, him being attractive but his danger wasn't clear and present. 'W-Wait! I don't think he's attractive!' she told herself, a slight blush on her face. She tried to put it out of her mind but then Ariyoul said it aloud, making her blush even more. Roxie looked away, hiding her face, not wanting him to see. 'No way! He's a crazy, monstrous person who just happens to- N-No!' Why was she thinking this now? He had to have been playing mind games with her again. 'Not again...he can't fool me again. He can't be trusted or reasoned with. He's the one trying to kill me...' Roxie reminded herself, quickly calming down and standing to her feet. It was amazing how easily he could play with her emotions, but no longer. Her eyes came to rest on Ariyoul, thinking of a new way to defeat him or perhaps even escape.Roxie's Stats HP: 165/500

He did realize this conversation was something probably to catch him off guard - he had less health to spare than she did, currently, he thought. He could tell.
Almost tenderly, he grasped the ceiling beam, staggering to his feet, and huffed.

Roxie wasn't really listening to Ariyoul anymore or his metaphors and strange phrases. From his position, maybe she could escape after all. He was high up on a balcony and she was on ground level with the entrance staring her in the face. With a sigh, she held her guitar pick and hand and prepared to strum the instrument. Hoping to catch him off guard, Roxie would fake out, swinging her hand but not actually touching the strings and instead make a run for it.Roxie's Stats HP: 165/500

I'll hack into that pitiful firewall of yours... As his stamina slowly dribbled back, Ariyoul was seriously feeling drunk, but he was still alert. His senses quickly sparked when he saw Roxie picking up her guitar pick and the stringed instrument. He bristled, now in a dog sitting position - squatting somewhat with arms between his legs. Weird as it sounded, it kept him awake. Ariyoul recalled odd sitting and standing positions kept him awake.
"Oh, please - I'm a hacker. I can read movements," Ariyoul growled nonchalantly. What he didn't expect was her to falsely string her instrument. He scrambled off the beam after seeing the action. Something occurred to him - hadn't she tried to escape before? ...until I can destroy your system completely! Forced to stop dead in her tracks, Roxie glared at Ariyoul, seeing he had no intention of letting her go of course. He intended on finishing what was started and unfortunately for him, he was alone in that decision. She got in her defensive stance with her guitar facing her attacker and a hand hovering over the strings with pick in hand. Roxie could fire at any moment and knock him out of the way. Roxie was correct - of course he intended to finish the initiated melee between them. Impalpably, his gaze shifted to the ceiling beams he was simply captivated with. Did he ever mention to her that he loved heights? Best he shouldn't.
"It's a little disappointing how long this battle has been going on, don't you think?" the hacker asked aloud nonchalantly.
He wasn't prepared yet - he wasn't strong enough, not at the moment. He required a longer period of rejuvenation.
