B'nen, Attacking Sasar
It had taken B'nen more time than he liked to help with trying to ferry those who wished to leave out of Benden. But he'd also found those willing and ready to carry on the fight. Benden may have been lost for the moment, but Benden's riders were still here. And it didn't take the rider and Gneisth long to locate both their Benden compatriots and a few Trine dragons carrying on what looked to be a particularly chaotic battle.
He arrived just in time, sliding off his brown and into the fray, to see his twin brother K'en attacked by a man wielding a knife. "No you sharding don't--!" Sure, his brother's bronze was doing a good job of making a nearby wher sorry for daring, but that didn't mean he wasn't going to try to help. He threw a punch at the other man's shoulder, hoping to strike him off balance enough to make him drop the weapon. And if that failed, at least hitting the man might make him feel better? After what he'd seen with a relatively quick glance of Benden, he was in no mood to be merciful.

She pressed her attack.

Gneisth, Attacking Zornsk
While His was occupied with helping his brother, Gneisth's attention turned to the whers still plaguing the other dragons and riders. He did not want to interfere with the Queens' targets or battles, as they seemed to be handling things themselves. To help was to find an opponent that might prove troublesome left unchecked, then. A brown wher caught his attention, and Gneisth rumbled. Brown wher against brown dragon it would be, then! The dragon snapped at the wher, ready to bite.
HP: 60

And quite the calvary the Brownrider B'nen had brought along with him. Keela and her dragon were not remotely happy with how things had gone down at Benden, and both were quite eager to avenge the loss of their Weyr on the Shardin fools who were trying to do the same to this one. Once Taith dropped her off on the ground, the greenrider made no hesitation in attacking the nearest offending wherhandler, launching a punch directly at his face. Time for some catharsis.

Action/Attacking F'io "Well you certainly haven't proved otherwise traitor." Hus spat out at her taking the blow to the shoulder and bringing her own punch round for the woman's face. Chuckling she kept up her fighting stance after all Hus knew something this rider didn't. ====================================================== Hus

The Bronze Wher's claws raked her flesh and Halith cried out in pain, but that didn't slow her. Plexith and Velath were there to defend and aid her, and the Bronze turned its attention to them, giving her a moment to regroup after the sudden pain.
It was the attack on Plexith-- the one by a much larger, much more dangerous foe-- that finally drew Halith into a state of such ire that she lost her temper entirely. Halith stared up at the Brown dragon above as he swept down on Plexith and bugled angrily at him, losing all reason when she saw that a dragon-- a dragon-- was siding against his own brothers and sisters.
You would attack your own kin? What are you thinking! They are trying to kill us and drive us from our home, you wherry-brained feline-humper! Defend your wingmates and your home! Have you lost your senses?
She nearly lifted from the ground, prepared to attack the Brown in the air, when she was reminded of the Bronze wher that still needed to be dispatched if she didn't want the riders to be in even worse danger. Humans could overcome humans; humans would have trouble overcoming a wher.
She let out a wail at having to choose between her friend and her rider, and then lashed out with venom at Gretask, taking a page from Suunath's book by trying to latch her teeth into the Bronze's neck.

SCUM! ALL OF THEM! Cowardly beasts hiding in tunnels-- she would have none of it! Leaving Hers to deal with the human half of the filth (she trusted Hers to handle herself just fine), she joined Gneisth in working to take out one of the brown whers, slashing her claws at the beast with a roar. Revenge would be had, regardless of the fact that these were not actually the Benden whers.

Attacking Rase
Inside the building, Cetalese was having a struggle of her own. It didn't cross her mind that she might have been better off pairing up with someone, because she didn't have the time. As she attacked the man, doing damage, he returned the favor with a sharp hit in the back.
Cetalese, in reply, jabbed a punch into his side even as she struck up with her head, hoping to hit him in the chin. If she could knock this one out, it would be one less handler to deal with for the group overall. Talking, for this pair, would not be on the menu, either.

He aimed a heavy swipe with his claws, hoping to knock the small bronze wher further away from His with the strike. He would have to leave the protect of His in the hands of K'en's twin. Greta screeched as the stupid Bronzerider shoved the table at her, but she danced back anyway, trying to avoid the unexpected move.
"Unpredictable, too, in the worst way! Well, we showed you unpredictable, didn't we!" she said, laughing, as the rider ran from her. That left only the other one. She sneered at him, not at all tempted to get close yet. Gretask was being waylaid by a dragon; she wouldn't risk herself if others for her cause would risk themselves for her. "Maybe you should run like your friend, rider! A new day has dawned for Pern! Fighting can't change that!"

K'en, Attacking SasarB'nen! The bronzerider couldn't have been more relieved to see his twin. he was not so relieved, however, when the wherhandler turned his attention onto attacking his brother instead of him. "Don't you dare!" he shouted out, launching a punch of his own against the wherhandler. With two against one, surely he and his twin had the advantage. The Blue Wher that had been attempting to sneak by unnoticed while the dragons were distracted was Hansk, and he was very disappointed that his "get behind and attack from there" strategy didn't work. He squealed and tried to dance away from the dragon who had lashed out at him, the stripey big. Stripey big bad.
He turned to face his assailant, but was also trying to figure out where to turn or move that would give him some safety behind him, rather than placing him between the two dragons he was currently between. Hopefully other Bronze big bad wanted Brown big good instead. Safe that way. He hissed at Tyeth as he shook the leg that had been barely scratched by the Bronze's attack, thanks to Hansk's quick reflexes.
