No matter how long and hard she runs, she can never run from the truth.
It is a lesson learned ... just like any other.

Safeword could best be described as a mix between a counselor/therapist and a professional Dominant. He can provide kin with solutions to their problems in any way they need: whether by talking it out, examining their dreams and feelings, or providing relief in .. other .. ways. He is subtle and extremely concerned with both his own privacy and boundaries and those of others.

about Sometimes, the doe pretends her name is Coo, that she is supposed to be gentle and unassuming and compassionate. But she is not. One might say Coup is unfortunately named -- or perhaps her dream was unfortunate. It is not exactly comfortable for her to be constantly dreaming and planning of bigger, better ways to do things, to unseat and turn over the current way things are done.
Even worse when you are the daughter of one of the original Tidewalkers.
Even more unfortunate when you look just like Bitterleaf.

about He is his father's child and his right-hand man. A little overserious, responsible, prone to melancholy. Murkwood's love of fun and socializing passed on in part to his son, who prefers, given his name, to be around others. However, Not Alone's duties come first, and he is more apt to spend the day in quiet company with another, merely existing alongside them instead of speaking or interacting with them. This makes him come off as stern and standoffish, but is instead just his quiet, thoughtful, somewhat analytical nature coming out.

about A bit of a free spirit and a hippie, Goldenwood seems disconnected from this reality in that she apparently only sees the good in things. In the middle of a pouring rain, with her long curls muddied and plastered to her face and sides, Goldenwood would be able to say, with a pleased smile, that the plants will grow extra tall this season. Sometimes this specific mindset manifests to others as an unwillingness to face up to anything unpleasant or bad, and whether this is true or not, Goldenwood has never specified either way. That has not prevented those that are not so fond of her as pegging the doe as a child and a coward.

about This petite doe is self-contained, mildly imposing, regal and otherworldly, conveying her wishes in a perfectly cadenced, sweet voice that nonetheless brooks no argument. She often holds herself at one remove from almost everyone in an attempt to maintain a clear head. However, she seems to have a fondness for one doe in particular, the hunter of her small but closely-knit tribe, and it is here that her carefully nuanced and reserved demeanor breaks down.

about Not one to mince words or actions, Clean Break is an intensely focused, rather quiet doe who helps Featherfall and Water Runs Red in their bone enterprise. Clean Break seems uninterested in much beyond her current focus: she's not very good at socializing, and comes off as abrupt, distracted, and formal to the point of being rude. It is as though she relies on formulaic responses to get her through every day life.

She almost never sleeps. She is the wide-eyed, twitchy, snarly and disconnected bodyguard and muscle of Featherfall's bone-hunting enterprise. With her blood-shot eyes and her dragging hooves (or, sometimes, her twitchy and jittery limbs and wide grin), she realizes she is more than a little unnerving, and decides to embrace it.

about Shale is a practical sort, steadily putting one foot in front of the other. However, this practicality manifests into a sort of brittle hardness; he can be easily driven to lose his temper and snap, or else grow so brittle he might shatter. Being so close to his siblings and their differing personalities, this happens more often than he'd like. In between bouts of anger and irritation he is quite level-headed and restrained.
