Danny listened carefully to Alexander, nodding as he told her what had happened. She shook her head however when he asked if she had been hurt elsewhere, "No, I'm alright... just wet," she said as she pushed her pink bangs from her face. She looked over her dripping body, then to Alexander, who was also wet. She wrapped her arms around his neck for support as he carried her, and she said quietly, "Wow, had you gotten there any later... I wouldn't be here, or alive for that matter. Luck was on my side, right?"

Hey, I figured I'd tell you now. I'm going to be leaving on Friday to go to drum major camp for 5 days. I'm 99% sure that I won't get any free time and no internet access, trust me, from what I've read about this camp, they work you hard. I'll be back on Tuesday, and I'll try super hard to be on as much as I can. c: xx

  ╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander smiled at her lightly. "I think Fate was responsible for this one." He said, looking to where his shop peeked through the trees. From there, it took them no time to actually get to it, and he unlocked the door with only a little difficulty, choosing to keep Danny in his arms. The smells of all the various herbs was obvious as soon as they entered, and everything was tinted green due to the many plants and vines absolutely covering the walls, which were lined with shelves. "Rasiel, I'm back and we've a guest, so please do not drag out anything you've caught." He called, his voice only a tad louder as he back against the door, closing it. It was then a small, furry red head poked above the counter, seeds from some plant clinging tightly to most of it. Alexander sighed as he moved to sit Danny in a cushioned waiting chair, shaking his head at the fox as he retrieved a stool for her to prop her leg up on. "You would think I would have learned not to leave you here alone for long by now." He said. "Stay there and don't lick them, it'll only make them stick more. Danny, please do make yourself comfortable while I get something to relieve your ankle." He said, smiling at her before going into the back. From there he brought out jars labeled 'Ginger', 'Multiflora Rose', and 'Echinacea', all of which were in a dried form. These he measured out into a small cloth, which he tied up with a string. He took a small teapot and filled it in a nearby sink before placing it on a hot plate. He reached then to a small pot of dandelions, from which he removed a whole flower and removed its flower, leaves, and roots, which he dropped into the water that was beginning to boil. While that boiled, he went back to the back of the store and came back with ice wrapped in a towel, which he placed on Danny's ankle. He returned to the teapot, that'd begun to whistle, and took it off the hotplate. He placed the packet he'd made in a mug and poured the dandelion infusion through a strainer into the mug as well. He let the packet steep a short time before removing it and placing it in the sink and bringing Danny the mug. He handed it to her before leaning against the counter before her. "That should take it right down. I'll warn you, at times it can come out with a bitter taste. If it is too strong, I can remedy that." He said casually. He looked over as Rasiel slinked along the counter top to him. Alexander shook his head again before scooping him up and moving instead to sit in the chair next to Danny, taking up a small empty teracotta pot as he did so. "Sit still so they come out easily." He said, sitting Rasiel in his lap and beginning at his tail. "You know you aren't supposed to get into the greenhouse." Be said, though the foxes rediculous appearance did end up making him smile, despite himself. "Oh, Danny, this is Rasiel." As they came up to Alexander's shop, Danny gazed at it curiously, taking in what it looked like. When they entered, Danny's eyes grew at everything that was inside, which was basically the forest itself. When Alexander spoke, Danny looked around for another person that might be in the shop, but didn't see anyone until she was sat down in a comfy chair. She sat back in the chair, breathing lightly and she closed her eyes, relaxing. This place had a calming effect on her, and she loved it. It was like Alexander's voice times ten. Once she opened her eyes, she began gazing wondrously at all the plants, and watching Alexander walk from the back room to a tea pot on a hot plate to his counter. When he placed ice on her ankle, she winced slightly, but stayed quiet.
She spotted Rasiel when he was walking along the counter, and she smiled, thinking he was adorable. Not everyday you see something like that. She took the mug Alexander handed her with a nod. She was hesitant to drink it, looking into the tea looking substance. She trusted that it was safe because Alexander made it, but she was unsure if she would be able to drink it all. While she contemplated how to drink it, Alexander made his way to her side, with the fox with him. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of the fox, still thinking it was brilliant. "Hi, Rasiel," she said, gazing at the fox. She tried to ignore the weird liquid she would have to drink in a moment. She said, "Can I pet him?"

"Yes, he's docile as long as you aren't a bird or a small rodent that he can easily catch." Alexander said, scratching a small spot behind his ear that hadn't been covered in the sticky seeds. "He tends to try going after Skah if I don't watch him, and he's always dragging things in here." He said, shaking his head. He smiled when he noticed she hadn't drank any of the tea. "Ignoring it won't make it go away, dear." he said lightly. "But if you absolutely do not want it, it's you're choice of course."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Danny grinned when Alexander said she could pet Rasiel and she reached her hand out and began stroking what parts of his fur weren't covered in seeds. When he mentioned the tea, Danny frowned and brough both hands to the mug. She gazed at the contents before bringing it to her mouth and taking a gulp, squeezing her eyes shut in distaste as she forced herself to swallow. It wasn't the worst thing she had drunken, but it was kinda horrible to taste. She cough once after she pulled the mug from her mouth, looking to Alexander and saying, "See? It's alright. Nothing to it..." she said, trailing off while gazing back at the cup. She grinned at Alexander before laughing to herself, clearly showing that she was being sarcastic.

╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Alexander grinned and leaned forward. "Be glad I didn't have to use Goldenseal or Horehound." He said jovially as he reached into a drawer directly behind him. He pulled out a small bundle of leaves and some ground red herb that once he took the lid off could be identified as cinnamon by it's scent. He sprinkled it on a leaf from the bundle before reaching back into the drawer and pulling out a different leaf, which he placed on top. He then twisted the two over her cup until about three drops fell from them. "That should help the taste to be a little more appealing." He said. "Though I suggest sipping it."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

Danny watched as Alexander leaned in and she smiled at him. She was glad they had this kind of relationship. One where they sort of joked and were comfortable with each other as friends. Even though they had just met, it was nice to have a new friend. She watched him add something to her drink and she gazed down at her drink once again before taking a sip. This time it did taste better, much more tolerable. "Better... Definitely better... You're really good at this," she said, now looking Alexander over as she took another sip from her mug, the pain of her ankle dulling slightly.

"I've had a very long time with almost nothing to do but perfect my skills." He said. His tone was light, but his voice had gotten a tad quieter. "Anyway, plants are too hard to understand." He said, obviously changing the subject. "You just have to learn the basics really, and the rest you can sort of play by ear if you're resilient."╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝

As Alexander spoke to her, Danny gazed at his expression and noticed the volume of his voice. "Aren't too hard to understand?" she asked, one eye brow raised. It didn't seem that hard, as long as you knew what you were doing. She took another sip from her mug. "Well, I'm resilient..." she said, thinking. Now that she had this on her mind, she wasn't sure if she should ask. She had been looking for a summer job, and if Alexander was willing to teach her, she'd be willing to work here. It seemed like such a calming job. Alexander was calming enough to her, but him in his shop would be brilliant.

"Are you, now?" he asked, flipping Rasiel over to remove the seeds from his underside now that the ones on his back and tail were gone. "Do you get poison ivy or poison oak easily? Are you allergic to pollen?" He asked, apparently thinking along the same lines she was.

Danny thought for a second before saying, "I don't think I'm allergic or anything. I mean, I am allergic to peanuts, though," she said, tapping her finger to her chin as she contemplated. She took another sip of her drink, making a face, but returning to herself after a moment. She pulled her legs up on the chair, getting comfy. Taking another sip, she said, "And I think I'm just like any other person with poison oak or ivy," she now gazing down at herself, realizing she was only in her bikini. She might need to fix that in a second. But the weird thing was, she wasn't embarrassed in front of Alexander. It was like he was a long lost brother who she could talk to about whatever she wanted to. And of course, she couldn't just ignore the fact that she felt extremely calm in front of him.
