Yarkuun Ephostera; a Phlemkariusite free trader from the Outer Phlemkarius Belt. The Phlemkariusites are a species similar to baseline Humans with the exceptions of their fragile, blue skin, advanced eyes, and what can only be called a cast-iron stomach.

Exxos The version that started the trend, in a world of ghosts and goblins, dragons and wizards, castles and the occasional dungeon-turned-pancake-house... High Fantasy!
Roll two 20-sided dice (2D20). Take the numbers you got and make the avatar accordingly. Ex: You rolled a 4 and a 7. With this combination you could be either a Gnome Bard or a Merfolk Cleric. Race: 1 = Human 2 = Elf 3 = Dwarf 4 = Gnome 5 = Orc 6 = Fae (Fairies, brownies, sprites, etc.) 7 = Merfolk (mermaids and aquatic races) 8 = Avian (Harpies, anthropomorphic birds) 9 = Angels and demons 10 = Human 11 = Elf 12 = Dwarf 13 = Halfling 14 = Goblin/hobgoblin/bugbear 15 = Lizardman/draconic/troglodyte 16 = Aberrant (Yay for a catch-all! Beholders, Aboleth, Mimics, Myconids, Illithids, whatever, make something weird) 17 = Troll 18 = Were-creature (Werewolf, Werebear, Weretiger, Weremolerat, etc.) 19 = Human 20 = Undead Class/Occupation: 1 = Barbarian 2 = Mage 3 = Thief 4 = Cleric/Priest 5 = Druid 6 = Henchman 7 = Bard 8 = Flamboyant Merchant 9 = Knight/Paladin 10 = Fighter 11 = Wizard 12 = Rogue 13 = Monk 14 = Ranger 15 = Tavern keeper 16 = Pirate/Buccaneer 17 = Ninja 18 = Noble/Royalty 19 = Warlord (fighter-noble) 20 = Craftsman (Blacksmith, Potion Maker, Scribe, etc.)

Isandriena I don't really understand what I'm doing but I'll do it anyway. =] You can go to the first post in the thread and read the directions there smile But please ask if you have any questions. It's not a contest or anything - it's just a fun way to see if you can find things in your wardrobe to match what you roll.

Exxos Science Fiction!
Roll two 20-sided dice (2D20). Take the numbers you got and make the avatar accordingly. Ex: You rolled a 5 and a 14. With this combination you could be either a Near-Human Merchant or a Reptilian Military Officer. Race: 1 = Human 2 = Arthropods 3 = Non-corporeal (could be gaseous, energy-based, trans-dimensional, even a hologram) 4 = Plant (may also be fungus) 5 = Near-Human (something that looks mostly Human, but is definitely not Human) 6 = Encounter Suit Enclosed (Nobody is sure what this alien looks like in its all-encompassing suit) 7 = Cnidarian (Jellies, corals, anemones) 8 = Piscine 9 = Mammalian – General non-primate 10 = Human 11 = Android/Robot 12 = Fantasy crossover (pick a favorite Fantasy race, such as elf or dwarf, and make it sci-fi. Warhammer 40k may be a good inspiration) 13 = Mutant or Post Apocalyptic Zombie 14 = Amphibian 15 = Reptilian 16 = Silicon-based/stone/crystalline 17 = Avian 18 = Mammalian - Cetacean 19 = Hybrid (Roll two twenty sided dice, apply both numbers to the race category and combine) 20 = Cyborg (Human/mechanical) Class/Occupation: 1 = Free Trader 2 = Futuristic Sport Star (swoop jockeys, pilots, guy who kicks space weevils through hoops) 3 = Smuggler 4 = Scientist 5 = Military Officer 6 = Entertainer (which is only slightly not code for Twi'lek hoochie) 7 = Space Pope! (Bonus points if you get Reptilian and run with it!) Futuristic clergy too. 8 = Ambassador (try to represent your character's race and culture!) 9 = Common laborer that keeps the galaxy running 10 = Security forces (police and guards and such) 11 = Medic 12 = Hacker 13 = Mercenary 14 = Eccentric local merchant (like a used speeder salesman or a droid merchant that specializes in gay robots) 15 = A mystical warrior (yeah, that would be like a jedi) 16 = Gangster/mobster 17 = Bounty Hunter 18 = Pirate 19 = Soldier 20 = Politician/Ruler

Oh oh! How about a movie theme? -- the categories can be things like superhero, rom-com, horror, James Bond, Disney, War flick, Thriller, Noir, Art Film, Teen Drama, etc. Maybe the second category can be the decade it takes place. There might be some overlap with the other themes you have here but maybe it would be unique enough for it's own thing? I don't know.... just throwing out the idea.

gaia_nitemareleft A movie theme! That would be great! The second category could also be the character. You know, the hero, the villain, the sidekick, the useless first to die character etc. ? whee Rolling for the Science Fiction! edit; mammalian bounty hunter or avian pirate... hmm, this is a difficult one since both sound so interesting. gaia_angelright

There might be some overlap with the other themes you have here but maybe it would be unique enough for it's own thing? I don't know.... just throwing out the idea. That's a great idea! You could have two separate lists of genres, so you could end up with combos like Sci-Fi/Thriller, Sci-Fi Romance, Horror/Romance, Comedy/Thriller, etc. Or one list could be genre, another one style? I dunno. Your decade idea is good too. Or it could be like indie film, B movie, blockbuster, etc.
