Eccentric Iconoclast Quelle est la question? ninja desole! what would ya do if the language you are learning became so isolated that every 2 miles someone spoke a different dialect and eventually split off into five unknown languages to the rest of the world.(and the language you were learning became extinct)

Kokoroki what would ya do if the language you are learning became so isolated that every 2 miles someone spoke a different dialect and eventually split off into five unknown languages to the rest of the world.(and the language you were learning became extinct) I'd try to learn the other languages. What would you do if you went to foriegn country as a tourist and two men in black followed you around in a black car, thinking you were a spy? (note: this actually happened to my grandma and her friends in the 80's)

chrystiana What would you do if you went to foriegn country as a tourist and two men in black followed you around in a black car, thinking you were a spy? (note: this actually happened to my grandma and her friends in the 80's) I would do things that would make them question my sainity. Like, go into a hat store and buy a large rubber hat and then ask them for directions to, like, the white house. What would you do if you woke up one moring knowing the language of your dreams, but it was the arcahic(spelling?) version of it?

I'd speak archaically anyways. xD I like archaic languages. I am very adept at middle English, if I do say so myself.
What would you do if you could learn a language that everything in the universe speaks, but you'd end up quadriplegic if you learned it?

I wouldn't learn (I tried learning Latin didn't work out) What would you do if the language you are learning became dead just after you became fluent in it?
