Smiling softly he reached over and got the water. Alucard slightly stood up as his decently long arms reached over to pick up the water canister. After sitting down again Alucard drank from it, not placing it against his lips but in the air a bit, he drank the water down quickly as he sat back a bit drinking the water. Alucard sat up for a moment and screwed the cap on as he opened the scroll and read the scroll moe closely. As Alucard read the scroll he hispered softly, "Ryu," he said as he formed the hand sign three times. Alucard nodded as he felt like he would continue on to the next one, but before he did he finished off what water was in the canister of Urza's. "Sorry to drink all water," Alucard said as he slowly went to hand it back to her with a smile, "Thank you," saying as his stomach had calmed down a bit, as he was hoping someone could get him food later.Figuring that he had to finish this first, Alucard slowly went back to his scroll and started to read it again.

She opened the scroll, deciding that she should at least look like she was working, though looking at the seal was enough to make her head spin. She glanced away and returned to the position she was in before. "It is a sight... though I wonder what it's like from the top. Someday I'll go up there and look down on this village." it was always dangerous to go up there, and she listened to her father when he told her not to go up there. Though now that she was going to be a ninja, she would have the skills needed to scale it. She decided that when they would have the sensei's attention, she'd ask when lunch was. She was getting a little hungry as well, "Thanks a lot, now I'm getting hungry..." she said sticking out her tongue at him jokingly.

Urza studied the scroll as she worked on the next seal, quickly she worked her hands, her fingers moving like light itself in her gleaming armor, and like that she was half way done. "Blessing be upon me." Urza whispered under her breath in disbelief. If you had told her two days ago that she would be sitting in a room learning magical hand signs she would have thought you were crazy. But here she was, and so it was. Urza listened to Miyako talk about climbing the mountain and looking down onto Oto. "Now that sounds like a challenge... Count me in." Urza said, her voice strong with ambition. It would have been good training too, as no mountain was ever easy to climb, and Mt Oto looked particularly difficult. "There is not much we can do about it now." The girl said not taking her eyes off the scroll, "When the time comes we will eat like kings, but for now we must work like peasants."

The rest of the class seemed to plodding their way through the signs, most of the class about a quarter of the way through, while the more talented one's seemed to have reached about half way. For all of this however, Kina was sitting by in her seat slowly rolling up the scroll, apparently finished. She had already been working on the hands signs, truth be told, in preparation for her time at the academy. If their was one thing that she was able to invest herself in, it was studying. So though the physical aspects of the academy were going to put her through the ringer, in this side of things, she didn't anticipate having a problem. She noted that she drew Yuzuki's eyes upon finishing, but he didn't say anything or remark upon her success.

It was as she thought. He wasn't going to congratulate any single student on finishing...not until everyone was done. Kina, as a result, merely sat there patiently, awaiting for the rest of the class to catch her up. A few of them, her new friend Urza included, didn't seem that far behind her. However...





"Argh! This...stupid...and...and then...how the...but why..."

Kina looked over to the two students on the other side of her from Urza, Alucard and the new girl, who Kina hadn't caught the name of just yet.
Sitting at a diagnol from her next to Alucard, apparently lost in his own little world trying to silently work through the signs, was the boy who hadn't noticed she was a girl earlier, and directly next to her was the Gnome boy.

The latter seemed to be having a rather large amount of trouble with the exercise. "Arrgh! Stupid hand signs...why do they even call this hand sign bird?! It looks nothing LIKE a bird! Stupid people naming hand signs!"

"Here..." Kina reached over, grabbing the boy's hands causing him to dawn a look of surprise. "Like this...thumb here, index finger over here. See?"

Yokijo blinked looking surprised for a moment, before checking the scroll on his desk, then looking back at his hand. "Hey! Cool! That's right!" he gave a broad smile at the short haired girl. "Hey! You're the girl who did that finger wavy wavy thing too! Uh...ahem..." he shifted his eyes slightly. "Not that I...uh...needed help." he seemed to regain his broad smile "But still, you must be like, really smart then huh? Right?" he went shifty eyed again, looking around. "Say uh...do you think...maybe...you-"

"Could help you?" Kina suggested with a calmly bemused smile in place.

The boy went slightly red. "Uh...well, ahem, not that I need it or something, but...ya know, it'd go even FASTER if I had help...right?"

Kina laughed and merely moved on to the next hand sign, showing the boy the proper form as he attempted to mirror her with a childishly innocent look now in place.




"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm."

Kina and Yokijo both looked sidelong as the figure of Mido looking at them from over the back of his chair, an uncertain, almost wary look in his eyes.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....."

Kina gave a gentle smile. "I don't suppose you want help too...?"

Mido shook his head. "No no...I'm good...but...I have to know." he pointed at Kina. "You're a girl right? You're not one of those really bishonen guys are you? I've been fooled before, but NEVER AGAIN!"

Kina actually started laughing at his expense, causing the boy to twitch. "I'm a girl."

"Thank you ancestors, I do not pay you enough tribute." Mido blassed, now clapping his hands together before the squeak of his chair pulling up to them sounded over the room. "Saaaaaay! You know when I said I DIDN'T need any help, I was just being...shy, yes, let's go with that. I totally need help!"

Kina chuckled as she nodded slightly, showing both the boy's the proper hands signal, Mido doing it wrong several times on purpose as an excuse for attention.




Yuzuki sighed and shook his head as he looked at the brown haired boy's antics, bring his palm to his face in silent exasperation, but he let it slide for now. They were, at least, working together. He cast his eyes between the two trio's, a slight smile coming over his face as he scribbled something down on a piece of paper before him, his notes on his report to the Otokage. What he wrote down?

"They might not suck." This was the highest praise that Yuzuki had ever offered anyone in writing, and quite frankly it would later get an actual laugh from the Lord Kage.

Urza formed hand seal after hand seal making sure that she memorized each and every one. She was sure Yuzuki would be unhappy if even a single finger was out of place, and she wasn't much in the mood for playing dodge the spiked metal ball. Urza looked to her fellow classmates, it seemed just as Miyako, Alucard, and herself had formed a tripplet group so had her new friend Kina, the loud one, and the womanizer. Kina had already finished and was helping her classmates with their seals. Her intelligence really is admirable. "I accept your challenge," Urza smiled, "But if it's all the same to you I'll be running in my armor." Urza opened and closed her hand feeling the cool metal on her fingertips. It still felt like a separate entity, and she wouldn't stop training in it until she felt more comfortable in it that out of it. Urza looked over at Alucard as he asked if anyone would be willing to help him with the language barrier, "Language isn't my strong suit, but I'll do what I can."

Going back to his scroll Alucard accepted the answers as he nodded softly. As his mind went back into training mode, Alucard started to form the next hand sign slowly. "O.O-u.ushi," Alucard said a bit struggling as he was not used to this to this word. As he worked on the hand sign slowly he was smiling softly. as he decided a bit of things. "Train someone with me tomorrow?" Alucard asked softly to the two he been talking to a lot already. Forming the hand sign fully he had spoken the word also, "O-ushi," he said softly as he was smiling a lot as he was finally getting it a bit. "Also w.where we get food when lunch comes?" Alucard asked as he was thinking of his stomach and how empty it was. It grumbled softly but Alucard kept working slowly as a few thoughts came to mind, 'If i can speak more clearly and less words messing up, then i might be able to perform as a ninja a lot better.' He had thought to himself as the scroll almost rolled up on him while he was reading it. Catching it he slowly rolled it fully out again and used his armos to keep it open.

The ox looked tricky, but it was just a matter of looking closely at the image. After entwining her fingers, it was really just a matter of lifting one hand up. "Tomorrow? Maybe. We'll have to see what sensei assigns us. All we know he could plan to kill us after class." Urza seemed to be lost in her own little world, she could pop the bubble, but decided against it. She wanted to be done with these damned handseals and get to the good stuff. On of the others was already done. Smarty pants...
