Tacker clicked its metalic mandibles for a few moments and recoiled as the 'friendly' hand was outstretched. The palmsized spider lifted its front legs as it processed what the proper next course in action should be. This one here, the cyclopse fleshy, didn't seem so bad. Perhaps it would help defeat the evil stick! In a friendly gestured, and in processing what humans did when they first greeted, it shook 'digits' with this outstretched hand with a limb of its own It was quite satisfied with this move. Tacker inched closer to this person, while Talon wasn't paying any attention to it. Or, barely any attention.
Meanwhile, Talon had been regarding the other pilot carefully. Well, not any more carefully than he already had been in the beginning, but a bit more carefully than before. This one seemed to have seen similar things, or experienced great loss that brought on this fantastic 'luck'. As much as Talon guessed anyways. "If your luck involves spiked ceilings and the like, I'd be more than happy to write a petition to get Lady Luck herself to pick on someone else for a while" A small smirk replaced that thoughtful frown for a few moments before neutrality set in.
Every so often Talon would focus his senses on that door, wondering where that raptor was... And he could tell that the amazon yonderways was quite interested in the disappearance too. His danger senses were tingling... this wasn't going to be a simple drink it seemed.

"Has he now?" she said doing well to keep the concern well from her voice and face though she was quite worried, what was that man doing? Then again she would know soon enough, though she still couldn't help feeling a little impatient now she had to keep focused though.
"You're welcome," she smiled back, though her smile faded rather quickly when it came to his next news as her face became more serious. She felt rather disheartened that even regent didn't know anything "No previous sightings, or perhaps another who knows where he is?" she asked
Quin had been returned to his former position, and Riot, hell only knows what that thing did to him. Marcia ave only a single nod, at regents warning as she began to think "I see," was all she could say, she hadn't though the previous king to go down easy but something had obviously happened to make him loose his title and judging by her own past experience, it couldn't have been good. She didn't know who the previous king Had been, but it didn't matter she had a grudge to settle, if he was... less than before somehow.
But what else should she look for if even Regent didn't have anymore information about Ander's whereabouts?

Regent looked from Marcia, as his free hand moved to tug at his twin braided beard. His eyes slipped back to Risk and her words, as they where inquired upon. He wouldn't say anything about what the islander woman next to him announced, he just grinned as on that subject that was the voodoo's story to tell.
Nodding to Marcia and her nod, his spectacle gaze found her attention once more. A breath chuckle left his slightly cracked lips, evidence of a mild fit of dehydration. His hand moved from his beard to the white die on the table, a new subject a chance new bout for luck. A merchant had to make his money somehow.
"Ah, a roll for a answer for a question. Thems the rolls Missy." Regent kindly reminded her as his hand moved from the gesture of the die to a wagged finger tip to the bandit.
New inquire about same subject-still had to roll....
And as to what he knew fully, well...Only a well chosen question could attest to such and a roll of a die would revile.

Blitz's thin lips parted more in a smile as Tacker inched all the more closer. Not a digit was wavered as the spider's own little legs moved for his hand. With a paused chuckle, Blitz greatfully-but gently returned the 'shake' and greeting of the smallish spider.
"Pleasure, and well met Master Araneus." Mastered nodded to the little spider, as he shook his hand. . "ah-ha!" Blitz chimed softly, " Will you look at that-he is bloody clever isn't he...." Blitz grinned completely intrigued as he looked back over to Talon as the gesture of hand shaking was complete.
"Tell, me does he have a less formal name?" Mischief showed a smile, ('Araneus', being a more roughly translated in Latin to be 'spider') He always did have a affinity for the mechanical lifeforms, more then humans...after all they where on planet Zi before them.
His brow and body rose a bit intrigued as, from his slightly taken hunch-one he hadn't noticed as he was so focused on Tacker. Talon's words of luck and Spikes caught his attention once more to their own conversation.
"Ah, not quite. My friend..." Blitz answered, "though it does sound quite interesting..." He pondered a moment. "If not for Irony sake" Masters breathed another wine marinated chuckle, that hand that had propped his chin moved to line the corner of his jaw, where his ebony goatee ended. "If that is the case, she might need to change her name to 'Iron maiden'." Mischief grinned all the more.
Oh, the Cleverness of me....
After all a 'Iron maiden' was a sarcophagus of spikes....
He inwardly chuckled some more, as his finger tips pulled weakly at the strands of his half beard...

"You concern for dat man?" Risk inquired with a slight tilt of her head. "I dun think it would be wise fo you to continue association with such a being." She added with a slow shake of her head.
Golden eyes had studied Marcia closely as she reacted and responded to the information given. Even Regent had failed to get anything past these watchful eyes. She leaned forward as if sharing a very important secret before she hummed quietly. "But let meh tell you, crazy outcasts do deh best out in dis crazy wurld which spat dem out..."
A small bit of comfort at least.
When Regent insisted that the dice be rolled again Risk leaned back in her chair and said no more, not even an offer to blow on the dice again.
Kreig finally peeked in the doorway brandishing a pack of cards in his hands. He looked about the room to make sure that his partner and his guest were still in the room. As he walked past the threshold of the door his holdup was made obvious.... The Raptor organoid entered the room with a puff-of a dinosaur known as 'Moe' on his back standing next to the shiny-metal bird Atelius (Whom had vanished months ago during Talon's encounter with the Bio ZOID Catastrophe.) The Bird ruffled his metallic feathers ruffled with joy as he saw Talon across the way.

Tacker appeared to smile at the greeting. Such a polite fleshling! So proper, so poised...and even addressed him in a weird but polite manner. Pleased, Tacker wiggled his mandibles like a Sir and skittered in a circle before 'sitting' right then and there before this great and awesome person. Talon was quite amused, but managed to look mildly annoyed at the same time. It wasn't perfect, but he would have to at least learn this new skill... Maybe. Okay, so he started snickering softly. "I call him Tacker. " The little -- well not so little as he was the size of a grown man's hand -- spider folded its front legs and seemed to rest its head on them, those beady eight eyes looking all around the room. It rather liked it here with these two. And that Raptor thing, wherever it was.
He had dared a drink of water, and it almost proved his downfall. Talon spluttered and nearly choked. It was either in laughter or in absolute horror, but Iron Maiden was a good name for this Lady Luck figure he was alluding do. It also fit the description of the mad woman that sent him into that blasted place that wound him up here drinking with the enemy ( again). After a few moments of chocking hacks while he tried to catch his breath, he started laughing. "That, is clever. I don't know if she would juice you or let you walk away, but that is damn clever. "
With another short laugh, Talon attempted to take a drink again. Carefully. Very slowly. And deliberatly. And with an eye on the clever man that befriended his arachnid companion.
Movement caught his eye, as did a familiar bark and rustle of metalic feathers. Talon stared. Jaw dropped and facepalmed. He muttered a colorful curse and realized that he was going to be out here for a long time. With a crooked grin, he glanced back at 'Blitz', "If there be any left, I would love a glass of that wine. I feel a very long story coming on. Very...long one indeed. " Even so, he was relieved to know that Atelius hadn't abandoned him. Incredibly relieved. It probably showed.
Moe had barked a greeting, wiggled off of the raptor and bowled over to climb onto Talon's shoulder, and flop on the man's head. Or, well cling to his head. It was heavy. Really heavy, yet Talon appeared to make the metalic lunk seem no more than the weight of a helmet would. "Meet Moe. .. A gift from General Niccodemus... And a thorn in my side. ( heart ) "

Regent shifted his gaze back to his Islander, his free shoulder shrugged, as he thought on Risk's words. His lips slowly parted to a amused toothy grin, to Risk's whispered words.
How fitting her words where.
Letting his hand rest back on the table, he let it slip to his drink. Moving the mug to his lips his gold eyes shifted to the door as it opened once more. It was habit for the Barter, to know his surroundings at all times.
One could not miss out on a possible costumer, now could they?
Setting the mug down, Regent took the time to move his hand to his lips in a ponder and learned over to Risk as if to say something. Though he only looked to her at the corner of his glasses having them taken from the Gentleman's reunion and laughter. They seemed to be having fun.

(Ice is taking a break from Gaia, so Marcia has left the bar by default)
Risk gave a glance to the door when Regent had turned his attention there. Of course he would be taking notes on who entered the bar, unfortunately these particular guests looked to have no need for information. Three mechanical beings...
The islander heaved a long sigh as she leaned back in her chair and folded her arms across her chest. Well, so much for one of the best places to get information... or coin. The only customer so far had left in a hurry. Perhaps over some of the information given, it was as good as anyone's guess.
When Regent leaned over to her she glanced in the direction he had been looking at. A soft grin gently tugged the corner of her lip. They seemed to be having fun indeed.

Blitz's eyes shifted back to Tacker, as he skittered in a circle, and his finger moved and pointed at the being. He looked back to Talon. "I Like Tacker." He stated matter-of-factly, with a nod, that seemed to say; 'ever one should have a Tacker'. He could already hear a little jingle in his head: 'tack on, -clap- tack fun -clap- it's a Tacker. -clap clap-'
As Talon erupted with laughter, Blitz's finger slipped to his lips as he let them part with a grin.
He did enjoy when his 'work' seemed oh, so appreciated in any form of a reaction. "You like that, do ya?" He smirked only to let his hand shift from his lip to a gentleman's hand off of a roll of his wrist.
"Touche', good sir." Masters answered to his comment of juciery, he then let his hand and wrist tumble down and off the side with a bob of his head for a bow for his clever statement.
A silent sigh of relief couldn't help but leave Blitz, as he noticed his Dapper of a dino return.
"Oh, brought some known friends did you? Is that what kept you; good, sir?" Mischief asked looking up to his partner as his hand moved to the dark whine bottle at Talon's request. More so amused by the new guests and Talon's reaction.
"Of course, happy reunion. Drinks all around." The Male grinned mildly as he skillfully tipped the neck of the bottle into a spare glass for Talon. Careful to not slosh the deep red liquid.
"And Please share, I do love a good story." Blitz answered looking from the glass with his single eye to let it rest back upon the gentleman that shared the table with him.

"Unknown is a better word..." Kreig sighed than added an uneasy mechanical chuckle at the tail end of the 'breath'. "The bird almost ran into me with his round friend there. Said they were looking for a very intelligent looking individual, and than gave me a much more suitable description.... ah-" He turned to Talon and tipped his head just slightly. "-No offense to you."
Atelius's metallic feather's bristled at the insult to his descriptive skills. His attention snapped from the islander woman and barter man staring at him with their catish grins. He than hopped from Kreig's back to stand on the floor by Talon's side. "Well, it was a good start after all. One must know the kind of person being searched out. And my pilot is the best there is, it is only fair that he should be addressed as intelligent." He huffed in defense of his own words. His green eyes flashed as he looked up to his long lost pilot. "-and... and... oh it is so good to see you human.

Parting his lips in a grin, Regent's smile only softened with amusement at Risk's own growing. He was admittedly a little happy, to see her smiling and relaxing even if it was just a bit-especially after the little surprise they had been welcomed with.
It was fun, and Oh, the trouble they could cause....and did.
"Ain't that our luck, Love." Regent spoke tossing his hand to the air of the bar, letting out a breath. "We go fishing, only to have to have the fish swim off or already be well fed." He huffed, how is a Barter suppose to make his living with a lack of customers.
Perhaps, it wasn't the best place to come for the Trade.
Oh well.
Turning his head, Regent looked back to his Islander and let his elbow shift on the table where his hand propped up his head. Letting his gold eyes remain on his voodoo woman, who had him oh so bewitched.
At least they got 'out' and they where in no hurry to leave.
"Do you think it's the beard?" Regent asked quizzically as he raising his head a little, he pointed his finger at the twin set of braids. Bright eyes shifted to the corner of his gaze under the glasses as if to see the white tied strands.

Their previous party had indeed some other obligations, she seemed to be in a hurry? Or perhaps the duo's intimacy had made her uncomfortable? However unlikely that was, the thought was slightly amusing to the islander. Who would have thought showing affection toward someone would actually ward someone else away instead of her usual tactics. No, she knew a duty driven motive when she saw one, and that being must have had something important to attend to. Especially when information was left unobtained.
Risk pulled her gaze from the dapper party across the way and returned them to her merchant. The grin remained pleasantly cemented upon her lips.
"Hmn..." She hummed before removing her chin from her knuckle than moving a hand to the tip of the braids. Her fingers worked effortlessly to remove the ties at the ends of them and undo the tight-knit braids slowly.
"Dat could be it. Dis ding is vereh intimidating..." She hummed again as she continued to work on undoing the braids the braids.

"And the cotten-ball you are about to unleash is not?" Regent asked, as her finger tips worked the braids from their careful twists.
"Hmm.." Left Regent as his head tilted just a little upward, so she would-though 'effortlessly' done- would make it easier. Watching her out of the bottom of his gaze, a laid back grin rested on his lips.
"Talented with your finger tips, like always." The old man spoke letting his grin twist into a smirk as he looked to his Islander black mojo mommba Momma.
The thought of the Dapper party across the way, quickly left his mind as he focused on his better half next to him.

The trip back to the Republic territory was a long one from where she had traveled and the rations she'd packed in the borrowed blade liger were long since depleted. Kyrea Sakashi needed water. Food wouldn't be bad either, but she was used to doing without. It was water that was the difficult thing to forego, especially when traversing mile after mile after mile of scorching desert without an oasis to be found.
The new Zoid she piloted was a powerhouse though. The speed at which they crossed the desert on this return was unprecedented aside from air Zoids that surpassed moderate level mach speeds. So, the time during which she's had no food was relatively minimal in comparison to times before. The once-decorated pilot pushed through the doors of the bar that so lingered on the outskirts of the territorial lines. Cold eyes drifted over those present, very quickly observing who might make this quick trip difficult.
She lingered on Risk, but even longer on Regent. The muscle was a danger, but the mind the muscle protected was often worse. Kreig was noted, as was Blitz. But she was too parched to talk. As always, the bladed shadow followed her. Upon all fours, the mechanical dragon gave nobody a moment of his time, glowing blue eyes pulsing a little dimmer than usual. His reserves had been used, but he allocated much of what he had left into not appearing to be spent.
Sakashi sat at the bar, a little distant from those present. In and out. She would make this quick preferably.
"Water, a tall glass, and fill this." The ragged pilot lifted a large leather canteen and set it on the bar table as the bartender greeted her with a nod. As an afterthought, she added "Please."

"Hmn, you-" Risk begun her words coyly and so confidently, but the rest of the sentence was dropped as was her confident air at the sight of the new being and her shadow entering the bar.
Her mouth hung ajar as golden eyes followed the woman to the counter where the bartender was promptly getting her supplies. Of all people to run into on an information gathering task, the republic soldier of 'legend'. Oh, but there was more to it than just the legend. That black shadow behind her, there was no mistake... she was here!
Risk's hands moved away from Regent's goatee as she quickly pushed her chair back and lifted from her seat. All intent to approach the Republic soldier was written on her posture and gaze. Eyes had been removed from regent and all focus was on the soldier.
"Kyreah." The islander spoke under her breath, the accent thicker as if the words had been held than suddenly released desperately.
Not long after Kai had entered the bar another figure covered from head to toe in dust ridden rags cautiously entered the bar. Shadow concealed eyes scanned the area before settling on Regent. Once sight had been locked on him the tall figure, roughly 6' 3", made his bold approach to the merchant. As he stormed closer one could make out a scared cheek and the raven colored stubble lining the man's chin and jaw.
