Pidgeot was severely startled by the sound that the Chatot made. "Wah!!" Cara had to hold on tight as the bird fluttered backwards a bit in the sky. Once they regained their composure, Cara growled a bit. "Grrr...stinkin noise maker..." They then resumed their chase of the pidgey for another try.

Catherine was finally as close as she had been before, but couldn't seem to get any closer.

The duo was now closer to the Zubat, but at the moment, they didnt care. They were catching up to the Pidgey and that was all that mattered at the moment. It wasn't their fault they couldn't see through the clouds to know that they were on a collision course.

Suddenly, the Pidgey darted in front of Catherine. In her surprise, she didn't catch it, and wasted a precious moment before continuing to fly after the Zubat instead of the Pidgey.

The wind currents changed again, once more in favor of the pidgey. This caused Pidgeot to fall back a bit but not to much.

The other racer suddenly appeared and Pidgeot had to back off and move quickly in order to avoid another collision. She screeched a dangerous sounding shreek at the Chatot and it's trainer in anger and aggravation for having made them fall back even further.

Catherine didn't even want to think about flying back to Shina with her prey. Maybe she could hitch a ride on the Pidgeot?
((Hey, at least it is just the two of us. We just have to keep it up until we catch the two remaining, and then, if need be, trade so you have the Pidgey!))

Catherine was growing sick of flying in the clouds. Her wings were not made for the damp air. The Zubat, on the other hand, seemed to be enjoying the damp air, the flying rodent.

The pidgey appeared to catch a thermal and rushed off ahead of the two. Cara yelled in frustration. "This is insane!" Pidgeot made a noise in agreement and sped on, going as fast as she could.
((I know, my fingers are getting tired and...I cant think of much to type up anymore X3 and yeah, least it is just us. Not that having more people would be bad. I have to run over to the grocery before the pharmacy closes and I dunno how long this is gonna last anymore X3 ))

Pidgeot was getting tired and so was Cara, but they kept going. Both of them were extremely determined to catch either Zubat or Pidgey, the bird preferably.
