He followed her, walking a few steps after her to the bedroom. Jerem stood in the doorway, watching as she gathered the bag, some clothes, and a cat bed. He smiled. His arms were crossed over his chest as he watched her, and his gaze drifted away, back down the hall, and unfocused. Thinking, perhaps.
"I'll be able to sneak some stuff in when I go home tonight," he said, after a moment of dazed staring, "Probably not everything, things that I can hide in my bag. It's a big bag, so I should be able to put some of your things in it."
He nodded, looking back to Kiiro. He smiled again.

Kiiro listened to Jerem as he spoke and she realized that she may be trying to take too much at once. She sorted through what she wanted, putting the rest on her bed. "Here's everything that I want to take right now. I can get more later. I think the cat bed will still fit in there, since it's not too big." Kiiro told Jerem as she handed the stuff to Jerem. She wasn't sure that she was going to like it being away from the cabin and the mountains, but she told herself it was only for the winter.((Sorry if it's short sweatdrop And sorry I didn't get right back online xd I was waiting to use the Nintendo Wii and the tv.))

Jerem took the cat bed and folded it up, sticking it into his bag. Her clothing bag went in next to it. To make more room, he pulled his sketchbook from the messenger bag and set it aside. He'd grab it later.
"Alright. This should be good for now. Like I said, we have a while before it becomes urgent..." He smiled and leaned against the wall, watching Kiiro, "So, if you just set some things aside, I'll be able to take a few things each night I go home."

Kiiro watched Jerem put her things into his bag. She wasn't sure what she would have him take, but she knew she'd figure something out. Hearing it be said that it was still a while before it would be urgent to move her things Kiiro replied with, "I know. Oh, and I was wondering if it would be fine if I was a cat most of the time. I wouldn't really want your parents to see me. You know, because of my ears and tail?" She would turn into her human form if Jerem wanted to talk. But other than that she wanted to stay a cat since she was going to be going to the city.((Sorry I didn't get to this yesterday sweatdrop ))

"That's fine, of course," the young man replied, smiling. He pushed his hair off of his forehead for a moment, turning away some. "It'll be easier to explain a cat than a girl, anyway."
He added that last bit with a chuckle, glancing over his shoulder at Kiiro. Then he stuffed his hands in his pockets and started moving toward the front of the cabin. He took his messenger bag off of his shoulder and set it down by the door, for him to grab on his way out.
"So, since we have daylight left to spend, what would you like to do today?"

Standing still where she was, Kiiro looked at Jerem smiling a little as he said it would be easier to explain a cat than a girl. "I guess it would be a little easier to explain a cat than a girl. Especially if that girl has cats ears and a tail." She giggled. She walked a step behind Jerem and wondered what else she'd have him take tomorrow. But she then thought that she shouldn't be so readily jumping into tomorrow. There was still some time left today and she wanted to get as much out of the day as she could. When she heard Jerem ask what she'd like to do, Kiiro looked at him; her left ear lowered and her right ear standing up as she slightly tilted her head, thinking. "Well, we could walk on the trails or something. They all lead to the base of the mountain, so if it starts to get dark I could lead you down if you'd want. Or we could stay here and you can watch me attacking bugs. I love chasing squirrels up trees. I never kill them though."

He laughed, grinning broadly at Kiiro. "Whatever you want!"
He was staring out of the door, at the view, the sky. It was nice, and he probably could've done this all day. It was quieter, and nicer out here. He looked down at his shoes.
"When we go to my parents' house," he said suddenly, his voice low, "I'm.. Sorry. In advance. For any yelling you hear."

Kiiro looked at Jerem with a big grin on her face as she heard that Jerem didn't mind what they did. She gently grabbed his arm and started pulling him to follow her. Not entirely sure how he would react to being pulled, Kiiro slowed a bit and looked back at him. Looking at Jerem, while she pulled him along, Kiiro tripped, letting go of Jerem and fell right into a creek. The water was shallow, but she still started to panic and flail around a bit.
A few seconds later, when she realized that the water wasn't deep she stood up and looked down and her wet clothes. "This is just," She started before letting out a soft sneeze. "Great..." She grumbled as she rung the water from her still very soggy clothes and hair. "How'd I forget that was there?" She asked to herself, very unpleased about being wet.

Jerem was pulled from his thoughts as Kiiro grabbed his hand and started to pull. He just followed, not sure where they were going. It was kind of amusing, too.
He was still slightly distracted, so he didn't see the creak either. That was, until Kiiro suddenly let go of his hand. He snapped to reality and tried to grab for her hand again, but she fell into the creak anyway. He looked apologetic, but a smile was trying to crack its way onto his face. He tried not to laugh.
"Are you alright? You aren't hurt, are you?" He asked as he began shucking out of his jacket.
He took it off and handed it to Kiiro. Being wet in autumn weather was never very enjoyable. His jacket was light, but it would help a little.

Kiiro stood there in the water, shivering slightly as a brisk breeze blew over her. She shivered and sneezed again and got out of the water. Hearing Jerem ask if she was all right, Kiiro replied with, "I-I think so... I didn't get hurt, only a bit wet....." She wasn't happy at all because of her being wet. She then looked up at Jerem, who was taking his jacket off. Thoughts were running through her head and wondering if it was a good idea for him to take his jacket off when it was so chilly. Though, Kiiro had just fallen into water and it was going to feel a lot colder than it really was because of that. She looked from the coat to Jerem and shook her head. But she then thought of something that could work. A slight blush began rising on her cheeks and she changed to a cat before sitting on the ground, looking up at Jerem. She hoped that the blush hadn't been enough for Jerem to see, but if he had seen it there was nothing that could be done.

It took him a moment to realize why she had turned into a cat. She looked a bit scrawny with her fur clinging to her tiny body. He laughed a little, then put his jacket back on. Kneeling, he carefully picked her up and held her to his chest. He rubbed at her fur vigorously, getting some of the water off of it.
"Better?" he asked, smiling down at Kiiro as he pet her.

As Kiiro waited for Jerem to figure why she changed to her cat form, she curled into a ball. Her fur was wet and plastered to her body, sticking out in places. When she saw Jerem put his jacket on and kneel down to pick her up, she stood up and looked at him expectantly.
Once picked up by Jerem, Kiiro felt him rubbing her with his jacket as he dried her off a bit. She didn't feel quite so cold because of Jerem's body heat. After being asked if that was better, Kiiro let out a soft meow and started purring, as if she were saying yes.

Jerem nodded in satisfaction, and started walking. He was careful not to fall in the creak as he went. There was a trail they were following, but it wasn't very visible. He had a little trouble distinguishing it from the surroundings.
"Are we going the right way?" He asked, sounding very unsure of himself.

Kiiro had her head poked out of Jerem's jacket and she looked around. She heard him ask if they were going the right way and she meowed at him while pulling her paw out of the jacket. Then Kiiro pointed her paw in the direction of some very old oak trees, meowing again, hoping he'd understand and go that way. She knew if he went that way it would lead them down and off the mountain; to the outskirts of the city.

He looked down to see where her paw was pointing, and nodded. His feet tramped through the leaves and down the gradually leveling slope. He was beginning to recognize some of the landmarks as they went down the side of the mountain, realizing they were heading toward the city. It wasn't the trail he took, but his path wasn't that far from this one.
"Where are we going?" He asked quietly, half to Kiiro, half to the air. After all, he knew Kiiro couldn't respond as a cat.
