Jerry sprung to mind, the guy was weird most of the time, but lately seemed to be even more frazzled than Rep could ever remember him being. "As much fun as that'd be, I don't really see ******** Twister or Hungry Hippos helping anything."

Which wasn't much, and wasn't ******** accurate either. He ended up with the axe stuck in the ground. Great. At least if he died he'd never need to cash in on the dress up bet.

Alas Rep, now you and Marcus were at a crossroads. Marcus though games might cheer people up. Or at least prevent things getting bet and then lost at a rather alarming rate. He hefted Tracey back out of the ground with an indignant grunt, trying to save a little of his dignity, which was pretty hard to do while still rocking a pair of dog ears
"I've seen Hungry Hippos turn to ******** war, can you imagine it in a room full of stressed out hunters playing for like, I dunno, a muffin or some s**t?" ******** hell he'd murder for a muffin. "There'd be blood on the hands of those hippos."
The boss got another dirty look as he spun around in a wide arc, driving the hook on the top of the axe in the creature's direction. ******** hell Marcus was doing a sweet job keeping its claws off him.

As the thing came at him again, Marcus blocked one swipe, deflecting the things' face with his fist. "They have claws I think. Stubby claws."

He raised a brow at the other hunter as again claws lashed out at him and again were deflected. "You are ******** good at this defending s**t." he laughed. "I'd never have ******** known it from all the sneaky hits you've thrown at me. I thought you'd be better at death."
He used the opportunity to attack again.

Blocking another hit, this one going for his face, Marcus hissed through his teeth as he barely set the claws into the wall and not him. He liked being sans scars. "Yeah well, trying. Been told I'd be better suited for Sun. First time Death has been suggested though."

Death - East
Apparently, in the time it took Gale and Wilson to kill off the little one Aleister had managed to calm down a bit. Which meant he was able to get his head back on and the illusion that was just an over-sized Ganger was a bit easier to hold on to.
He took Pookie, who was hanging from his shoulders and aimed for the monster hoping to hit it as he headed back towards the monster and swung the blitzball. He made a quick retreat afterwards, out of the monster's reach after getting sideswiped. He took a second to adjust the ears and go back to humming as he sized up the creature again.
HP: 36/40
DMG: 13 - 8 = 6

He called out before pulling the trigger. Roar happily let forth a fresh blast, ripping into the thing. The ears kept slipping in weird directions. Madison rolled her eyes every time and slapped the damn things back on her head. Really, it'd be easier to get rid of them, but who knew what the Sun leader would do if he saw her not being ~*in touch with her kiwi animal*~ or whatever the ******** least they increased her battle rage, or something.
She'd taken a sharply indrawn breath when the remains of the fallen Hunter's weapon had puffed up into an Insanity-beast; grimly, she circled the monster as the others took their shots, then jumped in. Having two blades rather than one gave her an advantage, in that she could flail with both arms and have a slightly higher chance of hitting something.
Maybe.
One of Kouki's blades met resistance, and she brought the other blade swishing through the mist to drive into that same resistance. The mist-beast recoiled backwards, and it seemed to her that some of its mass dissipated. Good.

He stayed a good deal back further than the rest, keeping his distance in order to shoot. Long range weapons were best used at just that - long range - and he was not the strongest in hand-to-hand combat.
I am not in the mood for this.

As expected, two of the critters that came about were easily killed. Though, one of the tougher things had come around as well. It was one of the ones that came from the crumbly hunter tablets, which as Deryk recalled, were a huge pain in the butt to hit.
After Gale took his shot, the death trainee ran up to it before thrusting out with Tooley, trying to aim towards its center. He found that if he did that he usually was able to get in a hit. And indeed, he did manage a decent one there.
