"Heh." She wasn't really sure about laughing so much at that one; sure, it was a joke but it was more than just a grain of truth in that.
Good for Lore, certainly, but a little close to home for the grunt, already slightly paranoid about things due to sharing quarters with Star.
"Well... That is a good thing t' know." She agreed.
She smirked again after that.
"Thanks. Uh. I don't suppose you have any tips on them? 'm not all that versed with electric types... Just know that getting shocked hurts."

"Ohh uh.. I don't have a whole lot of expertise in that field. ...Rubber gloves, maybe?"

"Heh. I'll see what I can find... If I survive, I'll let y' know how it goes."
She knew she didn't have any rubber gloves in the room- perhaps she could find out if Star brought some; she knew he'd probably hate the idea of her looking, or trying to look, in his things even to retrieve his pokemon.
He probably, quite rightly, point out she could just 'return' the magnemite to its ball, but Tambrey didn't intend to do that until the pokemon was out from under the bed and happier.
'Cold' returns were last resorts or for the fainted, as far as she was concerned.
She gave a little wave as she departed for her room.
"Wish me luck."

Lore offered an encouraging smirk, "I'm sure you'll do great." With that he turned to head back to his room and finish drying his hair.

Tambrey and Star's quarters were still the unholy mess she'd left. Fortunately Wheatley didn't look to have wandered out to shock anything else.

Should Tambrey hunt through Star's belongings, she'd find a lot of project supplies neatly organized in the drawers he'd taken from her side of the room. Lots of metalworking tools and piles of complicated doodads that looked to have electronics applications. One of the drawers did indeed have a pair of of rubber-coated work gloves alongside rolls of black wire and several packages of strawberry-flavored candy.

Should Tambrey look under the bed she'd find Wheatley still there. The last thing the little ball knew his master was angry and he had no desire to leave the perceived safety of the space under the bed. In the time since Star and Tambrey had left he seemed to have successfully gotten his magnets stuck together. At first it looked like he was just touching the metal tips, but the occasional effort to pull them apart and a frustrated "mite" suggested otherwise.

Well. Unless the place set on fire (and she wasn't counting that out), she couldn't really do too much more damage at least.
On returning to the room, the first thing she'd done was close the door and walk over to peer under the bed cautiously; checking on the Magnemite to see if it was still under there.
The revelation that it had gotten the magnets stuck together made her blink and then sigh in resignation.
Now she'd have to find some rubber gloves or something; couldn't leave the poor thing with its magnets stuck like that... but she wasn't going to touch it with bare hands.
Tambrey didn't empty the drawers as Star had; she was even careful with each thing as she sought out gloves.
The strawberry candy got a curious inspection- she picked it up and read the ingredients before putting it back- before she finally found the gloves.
"Hey down there." She addressed the pokemon under the bed, approaching. "D'ya want to come out? 'S probably easier for me to help if you're out here... Twinkle wants you back in y'r ball, but I'll let you stay out a bit 'f you promise not to shock me..."

When Tambrey first glanced under the bed Wheatley seemed too focused on his magnets to notice her. When she appeared a second time, now with gloves, and started speaking to him he blinked and looked up, "Magnemite..." After staring at Tambrey several long moments his body turned, large blue eye sweeping left, then right as he peered around the room for signs of pointy heeled boots. "Magne.."

"Not... entirely sure what that means so... 'm goin' to go ahead and assume 's a yes?" She stepped back, putting the rubber gloves on while she waited to see if the Magnemite would emerge.
"I'm not sure how long he'll be down there gettin' stitched up, nor how long it'll take him t' get back here if he decides he can do it without help... But y' can stay out until then 'f you want; goin' to guess you /might/ not get too much 'play time' out of the ball..."
It was just a guess- Star didn't seem to be the type, though perhaps with that Pidgeot of his...

"Mag..." Wheatley eyed Tambrey curiously. Once he'd decided it seemed safe he drifted forward and peeked out from under the edge of the bed at her, magnets still clamped together. "Magnemite?"

Tambrey made a beckoning motion with both hands, trying to coax the Magnemite further out.
"Come on. If y' come out here, we'll sit on the bed and see 'bout, uh, unsticking your magnets there... Doesn't look too comfortable like that. Just," She paused and smiled cautiously "don't shock me. Please."
Electricity was still not her favourite thing.

Wheatley's lower eyelid rose up in the little ball's version of a smile. "Mite!" He rolled forward, then floated up to hover in front of the female-Rocket. Looking chipper, he waved his stuck magnets at her in greeting.

Well, that was cute.
"Hi." She smiled and waved back.
"Er. Right. If you come and sit on the bed and we'll see if we can get those unstuck, if that's alright?" She took a glance around quickly; looking for something sturdy, preferably plastic, and thin. A plastic folder would probably do, but she'd have to go down to the labs to retrieve hers at that point...
Maybe, with the pokemon and her trying, they'd manage to pull the magnets apart through combined effort.
"Alright, 'm going to... grab your magnets and try and pull them apart; I'll be nice and gentle but we're both going to have to put effort into pulling at the same time, okay?"
She was very glad that Star had had the gloves in her drawers.

Wheatley nodded enthusiastically at Tambrey's instructions. This lady was nice! Maybe even nicer than the other lady who'd come in Star's room. He glanced around the room, noting again that it had changed. Which seemed odd. He wasn't sure why Star had made such drastic alterations to his quarters or why he'd added the second bed.

Completely distracted by this thought, he was yanked back to the present when Tambrey started talking about his magnets. He nodded again and drifted up to the bed, sort of awkwardly tumbling through the air, "Maaagnemite! He plopped down on the sheets and smiled up at the Rocket.

So far, so good.
She was being rather more cautious than she would have been with a pokemon of a different typing, but -still- making sure to be as gentle and smiley.
Scary 'zap-capable' type or not, the Magnemite was cute and Tambrey wanted to make sure the magnets were separated; she didn't like the idea that it was probably uncomfortable to be stuck like that.
"Okay." She kneeled in front of the bed and reached for the magnets. "On 3, we both try to get these apart, 'kay?"
She moved to take ahold of them, still glad for the gloves.
"One... Two..." Pause, quick, nervous, breath and "Three!"

Wheatley nodded his understanding as Tambrey carefully explained the instructions. Wow, she was a good explainer. Not a skill everyone has, explaining. He found, his master especially, was lacking in the explaining department. But this woman? Top notch explainer. Five stars.

Realizing again that his thoughts were distracting him from the task at hand, Wheatley nodded once more and squinted his eye in concentration as Tambrey counted. He'd do this right. Show her he was a real pro.

On the count of three Wheatley shut his eye and pulled. With Tambrey's help, bit by bit, the magnets pried apart and with a final oomf, released. Wheatley's eye flew open as the magnets zoomed apart.

"Magnemite!!" He floated up off the bedspread, looking thrilled and waggling his magnets. "Mite magnemite!!" His tinny little voice cheered and he clapped. With a little clink the magnets were stuck fast again.

Wheatley blinked and looked at the two shapes, joined before him once more.

"....mite."

Clapping.. right. Not.. not the best plan.

Oh good.
A cooperative pokemon that would, apparently, listen to people other than the trainer.
She tugged and bit her bottom lip a little, trying to work out just how hard to pull without hurting the pokemon, but also slightly worried about getting her hands stuck between the magnets or getting an electric shock.
"Yay!" She grinned as the magnets were parted and the Magnemite floated into the air. She clapped in a natural reaction, realising a fraction too late what it would mean for the pokemon to do the same.
Her eyes widened at the thought and then she slow blinked, smile sort of turning into a slightly bemused 'smile' of 'I-can't-believe-that-just-happened'.
"Uh." She adjusted her glasses and then patted the bed, gesturing that the electric type come back down, giving a little bit of nervous laughter.
"Aheh. D'you know... If y' could, uh, reverse the poles on one of those things for just a moment, it'd probably solve this. I'm not sure if you can do that? So... Try that? And, uh, if not, let's," She sighed a little, but smiled "try the pulling thing again..."
