 Kagome Higurashi Kagome watched as Sesshomaru left and she lowered her bow, returning her arrow to her quiver before turning her attention to Shippo. She hugged the small fox demon back and said, "I missed you too." When Shippo asked her where the others were she shrugged and said, "I honestly don't know." Her gaze drifted over to the injured fox demon and quickly recognized him and smiled as he asked her how she got back and she ran her fingers through her hair before saying, "Well it's a really long story, maybe we should find somewhere to rest. It's been a long week." Kagome silently thought to herself, hoping that Inuyasha and the others were alright and would make it back safe and sound.

Kurama
☆═━┈┈━═☆ Now then...
Kurama stayed in a guarded position as he warily observed Sesshomaru, a barrier of pedals and thorns fluttering around his person. But it didn't appear as though his challenge was even acknowledged. Gramps had persisted in begging for his granddaughters life, but then in the end Sesshomaru backed off and murmuring that he does ave someone to protect, left the area all together. Kurama banished his barrier and only a few minutes after Hotaru called him to join the others to eat did he turn his whip back into a rose, turn and approach the camp to sit and join them to eat. As the evening settled in, he already planned to scout ahead while the others rested to ensure no night time demon attacks. He doesn't need sleep as often as normal humans do.
He'd sit down and serve himself up some stew to eat, while Kagome had come to join them, chatting about her experience in the other world as Gramps and Shippo sit nearby to talk to her. He suspects that Inuyasha and his group should be arriving some time shortly now that the Lady Kagome is back in this realm. All the more reason to scout ahead in his opinion.

As he stumbled through the portal last, he panted. He could feel himself shivering violently and he intensely nauseous. He didn't even look toward his lady. His gaze was for Rin and Rin alone. Closing his eyes as he gave a shuddering breath, he literally stumbled to attempt to leave the campsite. As a youkai, it was even more odd to see this. He fell a couple times and caught sight of silver rising but he refused to look. he had failed in all things. He had failed his Lady, he had failed Rin, he had failed his people. He was nothing. No one would ever look on him again with Rin's eyes and her smile and her personality. He barely heard his Lady whisper his name in confusion and worry. As he reached the edge of the trees, his body gave out as nightmares assailed him. He would be fine by the morning but the night would indeed be long.
 As Inuyasha stepped foot on the ground, he looked around. They were back. He settled Miroku down. The monk would be fine. He hoped. Then he inhaled. Where was she? Her scent came to him sweetly. Without thinking, he darted forward, ignoring the others completely around him. As he reached Kagome, he pulled her into his arms, pressing his nose to her neck by her hair and breathing deeply. "Kagome... I failed you..." His voice was nothing more than a soft whisper that only she would ear as it was right next to her ear. Hotaru felt her General struggling and began to mentally shift her powers, opening a portal near the far edge of the camp. She continued to be seated. Her hands moved to Gramps and a faint pink light appeared. It burned but she could deal with it. The damage wasn't very much and would only take a matter of minutes. Once he was healed, she leaned back and shut her eyes, listening.
As she felt the portal snap into place, her eyes snapped open. Within moments, she watched the others appear. Inuyasha came first with monk, whom he set down gently nearby. She watched him inhale and then run forward, grabbing Kagome into a slightly tight embrace. The last to come through was Koto. Her eyes studied him. He didn't look well. A thread of worry appeared inside. Her eyes widened minutely and worry speared straight through her as she watched him stagger across the camp. He refused to look toward her. Standing, she watched him continue. As he fell at the edge of camp, her heart thumped loudly. Turning toward the others, her eyes hardened. "What did you do to brother?" Her voice was dangerously low. He should never have been that weak while opening a portal. What had they done to her brother. This was after all Hotaru's beast talking and not her logical side. Her red eyes stared at each of them intently though she remained where she stood.

 Kagome Higurashi As Kagome informed the others of her journey, she found herself constantly looking out for Inuyasha but he was nowhere to be seen. She looked over hastily at the sound of approaching footsteps to which she rose to her feet. Kagome was nearly sent crashing to the ground as Inuyasha reached her. As she felt his arms wrap around her, tears started to roll down her cheeks, wrapping her arms around his neck as she buried her face into his chest as she stood in his embrace for a moment. The entire time that she'd been away from him she was afraid that she'd never get to see him. Kagome pulled back after a moment and smiled at Inuyasha upon hearing what he said she smiled faintly before saying, "You didn't fail me Inuyasha, we're both safe now." Kagome then leaned in and kissed Inuyasha, expecting him to pull away or at least break the kiss but she hoped that he wouldn't.

The sky... The sea... There is always a place to be... Izuna! Masato Tanaka Go Shikigami! Masato had helped himself with the food prepared from earlier, he hadn't ate since they left the village. He dig into the food and smiled softly on how appetizing it was to eat. It wasn't anything fancy, but he wasn't picky about it either. He turned his attention to Kagome, watching her impatience and nervousness about her friends not returning from the realm. He could understand, but it wouldn't be long till they make their appearance. He was relaxed, eating his meal slowly next to Hotaru while she treated Gramps. The old man had lived which he was happy about, but now they would have to move on by sunrise and hopefully that Gramps would recover by then. He turned his attention to Kurama, who also join them on their little get together. Everything had gotten quiet, many times after an incident that the sounds of outside were settled down and silent. It was peaceful and help make the food taste better in mind, he continue to eat until his bowl had been emptied. He went for seconds, he was hungry all of the sudden and slowly ate for his fill.
After a few moments of silence, Inuyasha and the monk had arrived to the scene. He smiled, happy that Inuyasha had returned without problems. Although, one particular person he had noticed wasn't in the best shape and only that Hotaru had made a low growl it seemed. She hadn't return to her normal self, but the same aggressive personality that had been with them since her return from speaking with Sesshomaru. She stood there for moments and Masato kept looking at the man that had limped and struggled till his energy gave out. He set his food aside, he would eat it later and helped the man. Masato rose to his feet and walked all the way across till he stopped in front of him. He bent down to examine him, checking if he had any problems. "He exhaust himself..." He spoke with a soft tone. He wasn't as bright that he would thought to run away with no energy. Seeing how he passed out, Masato put all his strength into helping the man up. Twice already today he had helped someone to be relocated. With his might, he carried the youkai back into the campsite and set him by Gramps. He took a few breathes, he was pretty heavy to carry on his own and wasn't happy about it.
After helping the man to be settled in place, Masato turned to see Kagome and Inuyasha embraced. He was glad to see that they were reunited and soon watched Kagome kiss Inuyasha. He broke his gaze away since it was rude to stare,facing the forest. He ventured away from the campsite, his appetite settled without warning and leaving his remaining food behind. His Shikigami remained with the others, watching their master taking leave from the group. They knew not to interrupt his time alone as he vanished into the forest. They all stared at each individual they sat next to except for their friend's return.
Masato continued to walk on his own, appearing to search for something in the forest. After small walk alone, he found a large flat rock sticking out of the ground. He made his way to sit down, studying the forest around him and then turned his gaze to the opening of trees above him to see the evening sky. He felt that some alone time would be best in order, too much mixed feelings were happening in the camp and some escape from all that would help clear his mind for the moment. He took a deep breath as he continued to look at the sky above him with the stars shining over the sky.Location - Forest Action - Walking and star gazing. Touga steped out of the portal after Inuyasha had and for the moment looked around at their surroundings, which appeared to be in a clearing a little bit away from a road. He watched as Inuyasha set the monk down and seemed to close off everyone around him as he seemed to be searching for something or someone. Just about the time Touga picked up the smell of a cookfire did Inuyasha suddenly take off at full speed like a hound scenting a fox. Curiously, he followed him and stopped when they came to a campsite. he instantly recognized Lady Hotaru and sorta recognized the foxes. Didn't really remember Kurama and then there is Kagome whome he also didn't really know. Inuyasha had nearly bowled her over in a tight but gentle embrace. When they began to kiss one another the pup hung back awkwardly and feeling a bit digusted for the adult content.
He'd brushed by a thorned bush and flinched as some of the prickling thorns touched his burns. He had still been wearing the fire rat robe before. He'd taken it off by the campfire and grimaced as his body protested the movements he has been making. As the others joined the area it grew to be tooo crowded. Not knowing what exactly to do and no willing to complain about his injuries he moved back into the shadows of the trees a little ways, slowly sitting down against a tree trunk, observing the others but staying out of the way.

__________⇢xxKeita Hideyoshi █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ █ _____________________"Everyone tells me I'm a reincarnation of some Saint, but their wrong. I am me."Possessions: 1 Jewel Shard (Constantly being purified) With: Kagome, Inuyasha, Masato, Kurama, Kouga, GrampsThey actually tried to leave him! He was the one who tried to save the two girls when Masato arrived, and yet they tried to leave him. All he said he was doing, was getting arrows for his quiver, and then they took off. Kaede had pointed him in the direction they had taken off in, and Keita had merely continued running straight on the path before him; following the demon presences he could sense from even his distance. As he continued running along the road, the strong presence of a demon with great power (Sesshomaru) had caused him to stop to wonder if a fight had begun. Taking an arrow from his quiver, he quickly made his way into the trees before continuing from there. After finding a blind spot where he assumed the dog demon could not see him, he drew his bow. The male was about to attack, and Keita refused to allow his new friends to be injured.
If the monks were right about the spiritual powers he possessed thanks to being Saint Hakushin's reincarnation, then his arrow should hurt when fired. Luckily, the dog demon halted his attack and left the area, causing him to breath outwards in relief. Sliding the arrow back into his quiver, he jumped down and onto the ground only to get a better look at the group emerging from the portal. After spotting Kagome, his face lit up with emotion. Someone from his world! He wasn't alone! He had gone to school with Kagome, but had not been in the school since he saw the shard of the jewel in the river that day. True enough, Masato was also with them, but Kagome made two people from his world in total! "Kagome! Your Kagome right!?" questioned Keita as he ran towards the girl's back, unaware that she was leaning in for a kiss. When he got closer however, he was quick to notice, and immediately turned as the two began kissing. Not wishing to intrude, he moved into the forest at break-neck speeds only to see Masato sitting on a rock. Walking up besides the male, he sat on the ground before speaking. "Do you miss our time period?"
Kouga
" I'll avenge my comrades with my own hands!" a n y w a y s ;
Upon stepping from the portal, her scent immediately hit him. She was alive, and before he could move, Inuyasha had taken off. Never did he except to get beaten in speed or reaction, but he assumed it was merely because Inuyasha had entered the portal first. Otherwise, that mutt-face would have never gotten the better of him. As he got closer, it seemed as though the two were about to kiss, to which, Kouga instinctively wanted to punch him, but he would leave him alone for Kagome's sake. Besides, he had seen Touga back away into the shadows, and from the blood in the air, it was easy to tell that the pup had been injured quite badly. Following after the male without saying a word to Kagome or the mutt, he moved into the shadows of the Forest only to find the pup observing at a distance. "Kid. I know your injured. So I need you to sit still and not struggle too much, okay?" questioned Kouga before kneeling down behind the pup.
Without waiting for an "okay", Kouga sat on the ground and forcefully spun him around, and began to remove the torso of what remained of his robes. The wounds weren't exaclty deep enough to be life threatening, but the fact that they were there made everything a problem. Sighing quietly Kouga spoke. "I swear, at this rate you'll die before we get back to the village. How'd you get these wounds anyway?" questioned Kouga as he held the male's shoulders in order to get a good look at the boy. Naturally, he was unaware that holding his shoulders could possibly damage Touga more than he already was.

As the evening came and dusk settled for the night, Touga had began to rock a little as the pains from his injuries and multiple burns steadily grew more painful. He had the strongest of ergs to shuffle back deeper into the shadows, an instinct any half-demon has when it is their weakest time of the month. what any injured animal has an instinct to do, is to hide. Judging by how the other people began to scatter to different areas nearby to settle for the evening no one would notice the change in him. It didn't look like that Inuyasha or Kagome would come up for air anytime soon, so wrapped up with each other to notice either. But as Koga approached him, probably not noticing the difference in his scent beyond the blood smell, a shimmer of dispersing energy fluttered over the wounded pup. A moment later he didn't look much different and would appear much changed from a distance.
"Kid. I know your injured. So I need you to sit still and not struggle too much, okay?" He heard the wolf leader speak as he knelt down behind him, before he could really acknowledge the statement he had been roughly pulled around and had his robes pulled open, all but tearing the semi ragged cloth off of him. Stunned and awashed with fresh pain from the rough handling he struggled to stop him, "No wait!...Stop I don't...." he protested, finding to his immense irritation that there is nothing he can do to stop Koga from stripping him or stop him from doing anything. His instinctive reaction would be to use magic to defend himself but...he has no magic. and won't have any magic for precisely 24 hours from now.
Koga held him by the shoulder tightly, well tightly enough for a half demon to keep him still, but for a human child, the hold is painfully tight and more painful as that happened to be his badly burned shoulder at that. Touga struggled not to cry out in agony as some tears of pain came to his now deep dark brown eyes, trembling. He didn't seem to be aware of how much he was hurting him as he spoke with exasperation at the injuries; "I swear, at this rate you'll die before we get back to the village. How'd you get these wounds anyway?" Shaking from another trauma at the question to remind him about his b*****d father he struggled not to cry like a human weakling. "My father...burned me alive when we got to that castle........." He managed to get out..but after a moment longer, "P...please let gooo..." He barely managed to get out through gritted teeth, he'd have whimpered by now befoe he had that toughening training with Inuyasha the last few days.

Kouga
" I'll avenge my comrades with my own hands!" a n y w a y s ;
When he was just about finished with examining all of the boy's wounds, his voice crying out to be released rung through his ears. After which, his scent changed completely, causing Kouga to stop touching Touga altogether. After blinking twice, he looked up to the sky to see what phase the moon was in to understand whether or not the pup shared the same day as Inuyasha. "I'm sorry you had to go through that, but you don't need him, and you'll never see that b*****d again." Looking in the area around him, he grabbed a plant from out of the ground before holding it up in front of the pup. "Since the mutt decided to train you physically, I'm going to help you survive mentally. Rule one. Any plant that looks like this can be rubbed on a wound in order to stop your bleeding. Rule two, never doubt your instincts. If they tell you to leave a battle, leave. Do not stay and fight." It was easy to be called a coward by someone who was watching you run away, but if running away meant living another day, then Kouga had no problem in doing the latter of the choices.
Taking the plant, he began to rub it as gently as he could against Touga's visible wounds. He may not have been great at giving medical attention, but he could stop the bleeding of others and himself. "Tell me the truth. Be a smartass, and I punch you. Are you okay?" Kouga had never been burned alive by his father, but there were times when he got yelled at as a kid for the actions he did, and he never felt good afterwards.

 Tsuki and Rusty followed the others into the gathering of people. Rusty smiled at the sight of Kagome with Inuyasha. He nudged Tsuki. "She's okay." The wolf girl nodded and looked up at her brother. Her voice dropped low. "Yes. But notice everyone that is here. And who is not." She knew the moment they set foot that something was wrong. She'd scanned the group and Kino was not among them, nor the little fox girl Lorelai. Rusty's eyes flitted around, darting from face to face. Panic struck him. He turned to Kurama. "Where is my sister? Where is Kino?"

Koto dimly felt himself being moved. He stretched youki out but found that his Lady was keeping her aura from him. She was angry somewhat but at the same time he knew she was disappointed in him. He could feel others but his outer awareness soon lapsed into delirium and dark images as his body began to sweat drastically.
 As Kagome kissed him, he felt utterly content and at peace. Instead of pulling back, he tentatively kissed her back. After a few moments, he pulled back, resting his head against her forehead. He stared at her with intensity. He would ask her to become his mate but he didn't want to do it here. Now was not the time or place. Miroku was injured, the pup was most definitely injured, Sango still needed help as well. He gently released Kagome with a soft smile before it faded away as he looked around. Blinking at Hotaru, he scowled. "Your damn fox did it himself." He wouldn't stand for them to accuse his pack of anything when they didn't do anything wrong. When he had pulled back, he had taken Kagome's hand and still held it. Glancing over at her. "We have to help Sango and Miroku. Also the pup." He knew Kagome would be able to help them heal. Hearing Hotaru's words, he scowled over at her. "He ain't goin home with you. He belongs to my pack now. I trained the kid and I claimed him as pack." He watched the humorous smile appear on her lips before she waved a hand. He had no doubt Touga would tell her that he wished to stay with them. Glancing at Shippi, he gave a slight smirk and gently patted his head. "You take care of the village runt?" With his return, Inuyasha seemed a slightly different person. At Rusty's words, he scowled. Where was the fox? "What the hell happened while we were gone?" Hotaru watched the others carefully. Finally Inuyasha answered her. Her eyes narrowed. He was a damn fool then. He would heal by the morning and then she would discover the reasoning behind his actions. Huffing, she began to sniff, looking for Touga. She could faintly smell him. At Inuyasha's words, she tensed. "What has happened to my heir?" At Inuyasha's vehement answer, a faint smile appeared. So Inuyasha had bonded with him. She was surprised though. Why hadn't her general ensured the pup received his training. From his words, it appeared that Koto hadn't bothered much with the pup at all. It mattered not to her. She had no need of an immediate heir. "I will speak with him then to hear his choice."
Settling back on the ground, she kept herself away from Koto's body. He would not receive any help from her. He had done this to himself and he would heal himself. Hearing Rusty's question, her gaze became cold. "She and the hanyou Lorelai were taken by a creature named Naraku." She could hear the immediate growls within the camp.

The sky... The sea... There is always a place to be... Izuna! Masato Tanaka Go Shikigami! Masato sat there in silence, staring at the stares in the darkness of the forest. He could hear the voices of his friends, they were rather loud bunch and paid no attention to them. The volume of their voices had died and returned to silence. It was a soothing moment when his gaze turned to the moon, peaking through the forest. It was quiet, but only the sound of the forest remained, that is when someone had taken a few footsteps into the area. A young boy sat on the ground next to him, Masato turned his head to the male seeing it was Keita who had arrived. He listened to his question, giving one nod while his gaze focused on his guest. He hadn't thought much about it for a while. "I do." He was honest about it, he had been away from his home for a long time. His parents would've known about his disappearance long ago, they must be worried, mostly his mother. His thoughts wasn't on the subject, he had accepted his situation and adapt to it as is. His stare return to the moon again, the rays of moonlight rest on him and illuminated the darkness of the forest. It wasn't much, but he could see a bit clearly than earlier. His tone softened. "I haven't thought much of our time ever since I came here. I do have the feeling of coming home one day, but for whatever reason why we came here that I do wonder." There should be a reason why the well had transported them into this era. What was its purpose to bring them into a different world? Kagome Higurashi Kagome was surprised when Inuyasha didn't pull away from her kiss, instead he was kissing her back. When he did pull away though she smiled slightly before glancing to the others. She brushed her bangs out of her eyes with her free hand, her other being held by Inuyasha. Kagome's face was now a bright red as she stood there, pondering what she should be doing. She watched as Inuyasha snapped at a few of the others and gently placed her free hand on his arm and said, "Relax Inuyasha, we should just relax and have some dinner." Kagome lead Inuyasha towards their fire and sat down, hoping that he would calm down and just take it easy for the evening.

Demon Form: Thanks to Lady Hotaru's treatment, Gramps was no longer in pain and sat eating his stew next to Shippo while listening to the chatter of what had taken place in the shadow realm. He'd found a way to morph his paws so they looked like a mixture between fox and human, but at least this way he didn't have to fully morph into he usual human form whenever he needed opposable thumbs.
At Rusty's question and Hotaru's answer, Gramps's face darkened as he put down his empty bowl. "Aye...and I for one won't rest until we get both Lori-chan and Kino back. Lori-chan is me granddaughter so she's me first priority, but Kino is a fellow fox as well. We foxes must stick together and look out for eachother."
Gramps stood up as he addressed the whole crowd. "Everyone! May I have your attention please? From what little I have managed to hear, I know you have all been through quite a lot in the shadow realm. You must all be tired and there are a few of you who are injured, so if you wish to head back to the village we'll understand. For anyone who would like to stay, know that your help would be most welcome as we go to face another formidable foe. Whether you wish to stay or go is up to you."
Turning to Keita Gramps quickly apologized, "We're sorry for leaving you behind Keita, I'm afraid we got impatient and just rushed on ahead. I do hope you didn't have too much trouble finding us."
