She awoke lying on her back, looking up at the crowd that had gathered around the portal. Ah, Rikki was here, good for Daany then. Edel sighed and closed her eyes, just wanting to rest for a moment. She'd have to figure out what exactly happened later.

[Entering]

"Wild party," Kettil observed in a glib tone. His expression just basically straight faced. For now he hung out here for a moment trying to figure out where he wanted to go next.

He still didn't feel safe enough to summon his Owl back into existence.

((Entering & exiting to War))

Fight! Wylfenne was eager to fight again. The Death room collapsed to soon, and the Fae didn't want to miss all the fun with hunters attacking all over the places. They were literally going to war.

Imryn groaned a little and turned her head in the direction that Mitzi's voice was coming from, keeping her eyes closed still and feeling too lazy to get up just yet. "I'm as ok as one can be after being crushed. How about you? You and your other friends doing ok?" she replied, figuring that the others might be there somewhere since she'd reappeared here.

"Ugh... the other islands might be dealing with these too. Wonder if the other Horsemen know that they are being attacked. I saw what might have been one of them in there in the temple, but no one else since then."

((Dissipated and Entering))

Alexander had fallen into the void, which was convenient because he had rather felt like and empty void moments before it had happened. He didn't know why exactly he had become so incredibly useless during the last half of the battle, just that he had, and that in that time, his weremantis, his bonded, had dissipated while trying to protect him.

It had all happened too quickly, though it had almost seemed to happen in slow motion. The hunter he had bitten, the one he had actually managed to feed on, had stabbed at his face. Alex had managed to flinch away in time, raising his arms so that they took the brunt of the damage, though they became fairly severely sliced up in the process.

And then he had stumbled back and away, finding himself on a new tile, finding himself suddenly made much weaker by a shock wave that had hit him and left him with only half the strength he had before. And then the fear...it had been overwhelming. He hadn't been able to get up, to move, to do anything to help, he had only been able to sit by, useless and incapable of helping when Yin had been stabbed and dissipated. He had felt numb, stunned. He hadn't been able to scream, or yell, or cry out. He hadn't been able to even get up from where he had stumbled.

He couldn't protect Yin.

Some bonded he had turned out to be.

Another shock wave had hit him shortly after that, and his fear had begun to wane ever further, but he was having a lot of trouble even caring at that point. Without Yin, he had nothing. Nothing to fight for, nothing to care about. Dimly he remembered when the floor began to shift beneath him, getting up to try and shamble away, though his efforts had been half-hearted and slower then usual. His arms were leaking a thick, dark, and foul smelling rotting ooze, his clothes were a tattered mess. It was not even a surprise when the floor finally collapsed beneath him and he was sent free falling into the abyss, dissipating into a million fear particles.

Awakening again at the death portal.

His eyes blinked open. He felt weak, but not incredibly so. His arms had mostly healed, as had his other wounds, though there were a few that were...well, the wounds had been fairly deep, and these might require some attention. But those could wait, for now. Alex had dissipated, and had reformed here, which meant that maybe, just maybe...

"Yin?" He called out, his voice hoarse and low as he pushed himself shakily to his feet. It seemed that several students had ended up here as well, but many were leaving just as quickly as they arrived. Alex would not leave though, not without his bonded.

She's alive.

Those were the words that Yin wanted to hear. Miss Danny was going to be okay, she was still alive and Rikki was there for her. As much as he did not want to rely on someone else to take care of someone who was important to him there was someone else he was worried about even more.

He scanned the area, watching as more and more students appeared, until finally a voice that was almost familiar reached his voice, calling his name. And yes, there was the tall zomboil, his mostly white hair helping him to stand out. Yin pushed himself to his feet, feeling much more recovered than when he had first reappeared, and, only staggeringly slightly, began to make his way to him. "Alexander," he called out as he got closer, though he waited to speak until they were together and he was eyeing those wounds on his arms unhappily.

"I need to go check on the others. Mort is no longer here and I have not seen Miss Xiu-Ying." His tone was slightly pleading, all but begging the zomboil to understand why he needed to go. He did not say "we," because really, he would prefer it if the zomboil stayed in what so far seemed to be a somewhat safe place, but he would not try to persuade him not to join him either as he turned toward the portal.

((Exiting))

Alex must have still been in a slight state of shock to have not actually seen Yin until the boil was almost upon him. He visibly relaxed when he heard the weremantis say his name, and he turned to look at him, ready to ask him if he was okay but stopping when he saw the wounds on Yin's neck. The marks were harsh and red and they made Alex's heart plummet into his stomach. Somebody had done that to Yin, to his bonded. Those hunters had hurt him, and had attacked him to the point of dissipation. He wanted to reach out and grab Yin into a hug but something told him that now just was not the time. And Yin was speaking to him now, rapidly, with an almost pleading tone. Could they not just sit here a while longer and just be safe? But no, Yin was right. They had friends that might need their help as well, though the weremantis wasn't exactly telling Alex that they needed to go together.

As though Alexander was about to stay behind? Ha!

"Of course." He mumbled, nodding, though he was clearly quite unhappy with all of this. "But you are not going without me."

And so, when Yin left, Alex followed, as closely behind the other boil as he could.

((Exiting))

[[Dissipating and Entering]]

Reiko reformed by the portal, feeling achey and dizzy and fully useless. This was the second time she had failed to escape one of those collapsing rooms, and unlike the last time she had not even been able to get in a single hit. At least in Conquest she had taken one of those...not-Reapers in the strange coats down before she left. Briefly, she wondered if he had survived. She decided that she didn't care.

She also decided that she didn't feel like moving for a bit. So she looked around, and...a familiar head of lavender hair. "Mitzi?" Reiko was infinitely relieved to see her here. Despite their argument, she loathed to think of anything truly bad happening to the ghoul.
