Adding more Gum of Arabic to the mix seemed to finally get the substance to bond to the sticks. The mistackes earlier however cut much into his work time so unfortunately he couldn't let it sit for as long as he would have liked...sighing he decided to just leave for the rest of the day and hope for the best. Step 1 Result: Frankincense, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Lemon Balm, Citron - 10 Step 2 Result: 9 Step 3 Result: 4 Step 4 Result: 9 Step 5 Result: 2

Welp- first went inta'tha barn seein' some smoke. Tha critter'd been puffin' away at tha candy sure enough, but wasn't nothin' too serious. Ma folks don't take too kindly ta Popcorn cuz'a that though. The mix, like Xiu's, didn't seem to want to stay on the stick. Looks like more substance was needed here as well. ...Oh dear. "W-well, it's good that there wasn't too much damage done, at least!" A pity that Levi's parents weren't fond of Popcorn, though. It had just been a bad first impression...right?
"Oh! Well, um...what is Popcorn like now? He's not still trying to burn things down, right?" She assumed that he was on his best behaviour with Levi since they arrived at Amityville. Her own minis that came from home--Shu and Jian--were definitely a lot more serious at Amity than they usually were.
...Though that could have been because of her uncle's orders.

Apparently touching them during the curing process probably wasn't the best of ideas. But Olivia really couldn't help herself from her curiosity. With the rest of the process having gone pretty okay, it was the last step and a bit of impatience that didn't make it perfect.
Though, the pale ghoul didn't really mind that she had messed up at the end of it. It was still a neat process, and one to write down in her notebook when she managed to get it out.

'This can't be! Am I late?! I shouldn't be spending so much time gazing at the ornamental and eerie beauty of the Lotus pavillion!' Wylfenne cursed themselves for being that inattentive. What if they were too late? What would the Family say?
The fae entered the classroom quietly and slowly, as if performing a complicated ritual. Light, aerial, cold. They stared distractedly at the clans man in the center of the room. So this is their tutor. So this is the Heir to the Clan.
Wylfenne shuddered. They knew too well the importance of the first impression; and now - such a faux pas! To be late to the first class of His Royal Highness the Heir! Unforgivable. To think what her Family would have done to the miserable creature who would be silly enough to be late to the Unseelie court meeting. Better not to think about it and concentrate on what they are supposed to do.
The air smelled.... of all sorts of things. The fae rummaged through the ingredients and picked some of them. Rosemary. At home it was given to the mad to drive them back to their senses. Nutmeg and Juniper berries. Smelled weird. Rose petals. That was unbearably sweet - and sweetness was frightening in the world that was supposed to inspire terror.

It looked like everyone else was ready with their.... thing. Wylfenne was still unsure at what exactly they were doing. But with three charcoals it was burning fast and ready to pass to the next step and add bonding agent....
Bonding... The whole mission Wylfenne was entrusted with was about bonding. Gum of Arabic sounded safe enough, they smiled unhappily to themselves. How they were supposed to make bonds if they didn't know anyone? If noone was even noticing them, too preoccupied with showing off. If it weren't for the Family.... Now the fae kept asking themselves if it would stick...

...not exactly stick. Wylfenne was disappointed. Bad luck, wasn't it? And sort of bad omen... The fae signed to themselves. Then as if snapping out of their melancholy looked around and grinned. It wasn't that bad to despair....

Bongani huffed in irritation as his first try at bonding the agent failed. Trying to stop himself from flinging the batch against the wall, he tried again. Thank the gods it finally stuck, otherwise he wasn't sure what he would have done. Unfortunately the mixture didn't seem that good and he sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose in irritation.
