Sydney caught sight of the wave and smiled slightly, heading for the group with a sense of relief. Wilson, Aleister, Vanessa, all her friends, and although she didn't know the other girl, she was sure she would like her, judging by the company she kept. "Hello," she said, her relief showing on her face as she greeted them all. "I ah... was feeling a bit self conscious," she admitted, moving to a spot next to Vanessa. "Has anyone heard what this will be about, exactly? And forgive me," she said, holding out a hand to Sherry. "My name is Sydney Lowe, Mist Division trainee."

"Alright." Candace said softly, leaving a kiss against Jerry's cheek. "If you need help give me a shout, okay? We did work pretty well in tandem before..." With him shooting and then her going in to finish it off...that had been a great partnership. Sigh. Candace released him when he made it clear he wanted to be let go, watching the man walk away before heading over to approach Mercedes and Molly. She put on a big smile and draped an arm over Mercedes' shoulder. "Hey there, my little chickadees. Good to hear you're ready." She commented after hearing about Hadjoc. Were he and Mercedes having any better luck communicating? She hoped so, but it'd been awhile. Let's see..who else were they missing? Cass was here. Good. "We'll let Moon and Sun do their own thing." Candace saved a hand at Harrison, Marcus and Jerry. She liked them and all but they weren't her Mists. She and Cass were like...role models or something. They should give a pep talk of their own. "Guys, come here a second?" Candace called out to the other Mists nearby, waving them over.

Jerry nodded, looking a bit more composed as they parted ways. Right. To Business. He turned, scanning the crowd for sun-emblems. Rep and Jordan stood out like sore thumbs with that red hair of theirs, but the others... He lifted Roar's unsummoned form up to his lips and gave it a little toot, a high, sweet sound that cut the crowd without being offensive, "Excuse me? Any Suns, gather here a moment! Jordan!! You too, Rep!" He waited for a few faces to turn and approach before wasting no time, "Now... we have a big mission ahead of us, and it'll be our job to make sure nothing stands in our way! Some of you might be scared," He sure was, "But don't you worry! We are a sharp, polished, honed weapon! But it is good to find a Moon to cover your back." He beamed at anyone who made the mistake of turning their head, "Just remember..." And then, of course, he sang: "There are demons in the shadows Who creep and kill and fright- We'll bring those monsters to the gallows but they will put up a big fight....! WATCHOUT! Here we come! WATCHOUT! Here comes the Sun! They might burn us, They might bite us, They might curse and scratch and claw! But we won't stop, we won't rest Until we've gone and killed them all! WATCHOUT! HERE WE COME! WATCHOUT! Here comes the sun!" They could DO this!

"Nice work," Sherry replied to Wilson, nodding at his coat. "Congrats!" She simply nodded as he answered her other question, realizing that yes, it might not be the best time. At least she wasn't alone with her worries. Luckily she didn't have to think about her worries for long, as they were quickly joined by two other trainees. She smiled at the pair, feeling just a bit shy. Sherry was sure she had seen them around, but they'd never talked. Luckily, Wilson handled introductions. "Morning! Pleasure to meet you as well," Sherry nodded at Vanessa and then Aleister, committing their names to memory. A few moments later, they were joined by another trainee, again, someone new. Sherry's first impression, as with the others, was a good one. Sherry smiled as she reached out her own hand, "Sherry Greyson, Life trainee. Happy to meet you." "Can't say I know what this is," Sherry gestured to the gathering hunters. "But it seems pretty significant."

Rep wandered over to see what in god's name Jerry was up to this time, expecting maybe something important, like a mission folder or some sort of information.
Instead he got, a song.
He could not have poker faced any harder if he tried.
"That was ******** ga..wful." Nice save. It was gay though. Unbelievably.
"Sing that during the fight dude. I'll gladly ******** run to my death."

 Well, at least Jerry was trying to keep morale up. To any Suns who'd actually gathered, Jordan said, "Give it all you've got, but if your shield is about to break, it's no shame to fall back. We're much more useful alive than courageously dead."

Cass seemed to suddenly jerk up from her own thoughts when she heard her name, looking towards Candace and smiling, offering her an awkward wave. "Hey, Candace." she greeted, her mind suddenly rushing to those strange first meetings she'd had with so many of the people who were there.
Like Candace talking about her aiming with the gun when they were all out on the beach, fresh out of the chopper. Back when all she had was a gun and a baseball bat. Was that so..different from what she had now? She pondered it only briefly, her eyes flickering over to Leon as she offered him an awkward smile.
They'd laughed about their first meeting and how it compared to who she was now a few times too. A girl who broke her nose on the edge of a table. She waved to him as well. "Hey Leon!" she greeted to him as well, her grin getting just a bit brighter.
You'll be fine, I promise.

Jeremy loitered around as prompted, and really did nothing more than sing along with Jerry. Only...he still didn't know the words to the apparent sun division theme song, but who said he couldn't ever hum along and pretend.
Hmm-hmm-hmm-hmmmmm lalala WATCHOUT something something SUN something and things REST something killed them all and then some other things YAAAAAY SUN

"Go Suns?" Jerry ended lamely with a weak smile to his two friends, but beaming at Jeremy as the dark-skinned young man even tried to sing along! He beamed at Jordan and Rep, holding his hand out for an attempt at a team-fist-circle for everyone. What did you call that anyway? That thing where everyone put their hands in the middle and went GO TEAM! He had done it before Robe Choir back in highschool before they went to competitions.

Unfortunately for Rep (aka the red-head-that-Jeremy-didn't-recognize-to-save-his-life), Jeremy was one for pep. "C'mon Buddy, the quicker you amuse him the quicker he shuts up." He said with a voice filled with crushing optimism. In fact, he was two steps away from grabbing the man's hand and forcing him to join the pep.

Instead of the hand thing, Jordan extended his fist for a fistbump, because embarrassing as it might be to switch gestures, it would be worse to just leave the guy hanging; not just embarrassing, but bad for general solidarity. Come on, Jerry. Play along here.

Quietly wandering around the ground waiting to here what the mission was going to be but she did have a feeling on what it was going to be about. Then Tori spotted a girl smiling that was in her division by the look of her coat and Aklin poked her to at least to say hi, since she didn't know her. Nervously Tori went up to Sasha. "Ummm, Hi I see that we are in the same division. I'm Victoria, but I go by Tori," she said sheepishly as she tried not to make herself look bad.
