"Life is like a box of chocolates... Full of maggots and roaches. Oh, that's just me?" ~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~ The thought of Zhori doing everything with her feet was highly disturbing, and with Simon's way of thinking, his train of thought only got more and more disturbing until she managed to break him out of thought. He looked away when she noticed that he was tired, not wanting to worry her. He was about to deny it when she mentioned a great idea. He rose an eyebrow when she mentioned the snow, fire, and being in the middle of nowhere... Just where was she leading this to!? Oh. Scary stories. That's totally what he thought she was going to say. Yeah. Blushing slightly at his first assumption, he had to smile at the idea. It was absolutely perfect. Some students would enjoy it, others would be terrified, and he could feed off of the fear. It was wonderful! He wrapped his arms around Zhori, glad that he had such a brilliant woman as a... a... ...................... Well, she was amazing, and he just had to tell her that, "Why are you such a genius? We need to get dry ice, spiders, cockroaches, maybe a little fake blood... or real blood. Either way." He was getting a bit excited as he thought of plenty of ways to make her plan come together nicely. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ KISS THE COOK - Mr. Sweet

Zhori
"I have no idea where to get any of that--well, except real blood. But I'm not up for donating today," Zhori said, laughing as he hugged her. Well, this was nice. It was just really nice that she wasn't the one who always had to initiate physical contact. Simon did it--just not that often. She had to take the time to relish in it when he did.
"But I'll help you look," she added, wrapping her arms around him as well. "I'm sure we can find everything by tonight. If we can't find it up here, I'm sure we can get things down in the town as well. And...I'm also going to be suggesting great ideas more often if this is the response I get."
Mmm. Body heat. Even if he didn't produce as much as her, it was still nice. ((Mwa ha ha ha. Another crazy plan! emotion_awesome ))

Simon clicked his tongue and his two little cockroaches crawled out of his pocket and traveled down his pants, apparently on a mission to find recruits. He smiled and blushed when Zhori hugged him back and seemed to be enjoying herself, glad that it wasn't as awkward as he was afraid it was going to be. He wanted to rest his head on her shoulder but... she was taller. Just by a little, but it made him change his mind for pride's sake. And she seemed unnaturally warm too. "Are you sick or something? You feel really wa-- .... Nevermind," He realized the stupidity of that thought a little too late. He noticed the heat before plenty of times and each and every time his first thought was a fever. It was only now that he remembered that she could burst into a big ball of fire if she wanted to. He felt really slow, and he couldn't even use his exhaustion as an excuse because he had the exact same thought before. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ KISS THE COOK - Mr. Sweet

Angela.Tremaine The goblin remains and the princess will die, the right road to Faerie, is the blink of an eye... "Maybe we can sneak into the kitchen and make some," Zhori said. "A little corn syrup, a little water, a little red food coloring. It shouldn't be too hard to make something convincing. Well, I mean, I was in this play a few decades ago, and that was the mixture we used for the play. Kind of sticky, though." She laughed slightly. "There was this one scene where I was supposed to be beating up this guy who was covered in fake blood. But because of the size of the stage--it was this enormous amphitheater--the audience couldn't really see what I was doing. So I just drew smiley faces in the fake blood. And he had red dyed smiley faces on his flanks for days."
Oh...she was rambling and telling random stories again wasn't she? She cleared her throat and smiled sheepishly. "Um, anyhow. First rule of fire elementals: we never get sick." And while he was not suspecting it, she leaned in for a quick kiss before releasing him. "Alright, since I am now sufficiently warm. Let's go find all the things we need!"
This was going to be fun.Where charming old stories, in blood are expressed, like tears of cream on a strawberry dress...

"Life is like a box of chocolates... Full of maggots and roaches. Oh, that's just me?" ~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~ The corn syrup and food coloring idea was perfect for the blood, and Simon was disappointed that he hadn't thought of that. Being a Nightmare and all, he knew how to make plenty of gross things, and that simple recipe for blood somehow managed to slip his mind. Did she always have such amusing stories to tell? Well, she was old, so of course she had plenty of ramble material. The thought of having red dye all over was terrible, but the fact that it was smiley faces... It was hard not to laugh. Simon was glad to hear that she would never get sick. When it comes to people that he actually cares about, he knew he had a habit of getting pretty panicked when they were ill. Hell, he freaked out for no reason over Zhori's blue hands! Well, there was a reason. People don't usually turn blue, but still. He blushed when she leaned in for a kiss, really hoping no one was around to see now. A bit flustered, he asked, "W-what do we get first...?" The roaches were already off collecting bugs for them, so next was either the blood or dry ice. [I know the horrors of fake blood D= *total Halloween junkie* Had to use a mixture of bleach and dish soap for half an hour just to get it off my hands.] ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ KISS THE COOK - Mr. Sweet

Zhori
"Dry ice," Zhori said without pausing. "We should mix up the blood as late as possible so it doesn't go all gross on us. And besides, we really need to get the dry ice before the shops in town close. It makes more sense to do that now while we know everything is still open. So...I guess we should be running to town, then figuring out how to sneak into the kitchen!"
"Besides, it'll be nice to head down and see what is there. not that I expect anything to interesting but eh, might as well have a look instead of lurking by the fire all day. As wonderful as the fire is."
((Fake blood is so horrible. But that story really did happen! Not to me. A friend of mine did it to a fellow actor on my behalf. emotion_awesome He was defending my honor against the evil Cory because Cory liked to greet me by kicking me. The dolt. Not only did i get to see the smiley faces and my name emblazoned on his side. It apparently got in his pit hair and hurt like hell. After the play, he walked over to me and just lifted his shirt and was all -.- And I, of course, pointed and laughed.))

[Oh god... XD That's hilarious.] "Life is like a box of chocolates... Full of maggots and roaches. Oh, that's just me?" ~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~v~ Simon nodded in agreement, really not feeling like bringing a pot of blood around town to stir it every few seconds to keep it from getting gross and chunky. It would probably freeze if they took it outside anyway. Unfortunately, Zhori made it sound like she was going to turn it into a shopping spree. He really hoped she wasn't that kind of girl, or else he was sure he was going to die. If he was forced to carry anything around besides a bag of dry ice, he was just going to lay down in the snow and die. He was that exhausted. Setting his possible complaints aside, he hesitantly grabbed Zhori's hand and pulled her towards the door, blushing at how awkward he was about these things. But, if she enjoyed the hug, then she would be fine with this, right? [Exits... awkwardly =D] ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ KISS THE COOK - Mr. Sweet

Susan Chang This was the first time Susan was ever seeing snow, she was incredibly excited to be going on this field trip. She was dressed in her usual kimono style wrap, but she was wearing a scarf around her neck. 'Hmm, I wonder were I will be staying' she thought to herself and looked around the lodge. There were a whole group of mingleing students. She had only just arrived, and was eager to meet people and make friends.
She grabbed a tousle of her hair that was hanging over her shoulder and stroked it, it was soft and smooth. Susan went and sat at a couch that was in the lodge, it was very comfortable, she grabbed a book from her bag and became captivated in the book. She hoped someone would notice her and start conversing with her. Every now and again, she would look up from her book and examine the room to see what was happening.

Synthallyn Theax Syn settled herself by the fire, snuggling into a chair she found nearby and basking in the heat that radiated from it. She wasn't fond of the cold, obvious by the oversize sweater and scarf that dwarfed her, but she did enjoy to way the snow looked as it blanketed the world in soft ice. It was new to her like so many other things about the Academy but she adored it none the less. Sipping from her over sized mug of tea, she watched the few people that meandered in and out of the lodge. She liked to remind herself of why she had come on this field trip. To socialize and make friends or so she liked to think. She had been doing a poor job of it. Instead of socializing with her peers she drew them or the scenery around them. It was lonesome but she enjoyed simply being around such a diverse group of beings. The thought made her smile and giggle to herself. Looking around, she noticed a kimono clad girl reading on a nearby couch and offered a timid but friendly smile before the girl turned back to her book and she herself pulled out a moleskin and a pencil to sketch. The pencil caressed the paper furiously, inspiration filling her by this winter land and a legend she had recently learned about from a woman in town.

"Hey Syn!" Fin called as he waved one of his branch hands in the air and walked on over to the the girl. Nash followed closely bheind the scarecrow with his hands in his pockets and a smile on his face. "Are you okay?" Nash asked as he tilted his head a bit and knelt down in front of the girl so that he could be in direct eye contact with her. "You don't look very.... happy..."

Synthallyn Theax Syn looked up from her sketch with a start and blushed when she came face to face with Nash. Instantly a small smile came to her face at the familiar face. "Oh hello Nash." Putting her sketchbook to the side, she adjusted her scarf so that her face was uncoverd. "Oh I'm wonderful. I was just concentrating on my work. I....tend to zone out. Besides...it's cold. Dragons and cold....we get a bit slow." She giggled at Fin and lightly played with the straw collar of a moment before tuning her gaze back to him.

The elf boy snickered when he caught a hint of blush on the girl's face. He then sat down in front of her chair and wrapped his good arm around his legs, "I didn't know you were into drawing.... though I don't know that much about you anyway," he chuckled. He then watched as Fin climbed up onto the arm of Syn's chair and sat there, swinging his legs. "I bet you like the fireplace.... especially considering how cold it is outside."

Synthallyn Theax "I...um...well I'm decent at it. My family has a knack for it you could say." she murmured, staring at the fire crackle and hiss. She idly turned her attention towards the scarecrow who now perched next to here. Again her eyes caught that eager curious gleam as her fascination with Nash's possessed companion. "I do like the warmth, yes." She smiled and lifted up her arms, her sweater hanging off of her like knitted wings. "Can't you tell?" she giggled. Noticing he was favoring an arm, she cocked her head to the side and edged' closer to him from her seat. "Is your arm alright?"
