"A spy. A fighter. Victoria Saraghetti."For a moment, she blinked, taken completely by surprise. She'd been expecting that eventually, she would need to fight. Well, this wasn't so terrible then and she could leave without any more trouble. His demands were simple enough, and she nodded to agree before turning around sprinting away from the house. She paused by the street, knowing that Amelia's car would be useless to her now. Sighing, she went to her phone, only to see the screen light up with a new message. Thrilled, she looked up to see her boss pull up, and she wasted no more time in getting in. They would leave, and figure out what to do from there.

Lloyd sighed deeply, calling out "It's over, it's been taken care of. You two can come back in now." to his wife and daughter, his eyes taking on their usual appearance as they reverted back to normal.

A drummer? Yes, that's me, Cynthia Dias."Hearing her husband, Cynthia managed to stand from her position, still holding a worried Lyndis in her arms. Despite the situation, she was surprised that the girl hadn't started crying, causing her to hug her step-daughter even harder. This whole thing was just wrong, and she wished fervently to make everything go back to normal. After a quick check on the twins, she re-entered the living room, unsure of what to say. "I'm sure she's fine." It was all she could think of, and she felt no need to explain that she'd meant Amelia. He would know that, and hopefully, she was right.

Lloyd nodded, managing a weak smile. "Yeah. Amy's too tough to just give up..." He then crouched down to his daughter's level, his claws starting to retract as he grew calmer. "Sweetie... I'm not going to lie to you, your a VERY smart little lady, and you'll just figure it out on your own if I don't tell you: Your mommy's... gone. I don't know where she went, and I don't know when she'll be back. I'm going to ask uncle Adrian to go look for her, but I just want you to know that she didn't leave you because she wanted to. You know she loves you more than anything in the world." He sighed. "Now, do you want to stay here, or with Grandma and Grandpa until she gets back?" He asked her, his anger subsided, and replaced with concern for his eldest child.

A drummer? Yes, that's me, Cynthia Dias."Setting Lyndis down at her feet, she stood awkwardly, letting her husband speak without interruption. She looked down only when she felt a squeeze on her hand, and she returned it quickly. The answer was her own, and she knew that Lloyd's daughter would be safe with either couple. "I want to stay here." Letting out a breath at the confirmation, Cynthia gave a weak smile, completely lost as to how to act now. Kneeling behind the girl, she reached over to hug Lloyd, making sure to hold Lyn between them. She stayed like that for several minutes, her eyes squeezed shut as if to will their problems away. When she finally leaned back, she looked at her step-daughter, noting sadly that her eyes were far too watery for a little girl. "Let's go have a nap, okay?"
