If trying to get their little castle back up to something even RESEMBLING a castle again, they now had MORE trouble. One that the announcer was all to nice enough to warm them about. The kraken.
"The WHAT now?!!" He called out, patting their castle and then looking up as a massive shadow rose up over them. In the burning sun, it was hard to see the kraken at first, but a wavering tentacle was soon spotted. "UGH! Why do all the things I have have tentacles?!" He cried out, and then suddenly the waving, slippery appendage was on the move, out to destroy them and their castle.
As the kraken went to take away his pile he worked hard on, Calder kicked out. "I just fixed that!" It seemed that being kicked was not liked, and tiny as he was, the kraken threw him back. At least the sand wasn't stone, but it wasn't super soft either. "Oww."

Getting back up, Calder shook the sand off his shoulders and rose back up, jumping on to grip the tentacle as best he could. This didn't work as he thought, as the tentacle just waved and lashed until it shook Calder back off.

Falling off, Calder then grabbed a handful of Sand and threw it back at the kraken. To show that it could do better, the appendage curled up some sand and threw it on Calder.

That was it. This thing came from the sea. He was a water creature. There was only way to handle this.
Rushing over, Calder grabbed as much of the limb as he could, and them bite down. HE WOULD EAT THIS THING! The tentacle tried to pry the pest off, wrapping about his leg and pulling on it.

Barth stayed discreetly out of the way as the tentacles began to rend the castle terrace from parapet. His teammates bravely fended the thing off, throwing sand and avoiding the suckers...but his stomach dropped when Calder was pitched hard into the sand, and stayed down.
He oozed carefully out behind the collapsing castle.
"Calder? Are you...?"
When the Tentacle veered back his way, it found five very sharp reasons not to.
