Suddenly Zar found out why it really sucked to be covered in butter and face down in the sand, as he got back up he cringed with every movement, his wings fluffed up like a disgruntled cat as the feel of the sand made his skin crawl. Jack it was horrible.
He shot the crab a look of serious business, his pupils narrowing to slits. This demon had had enough.
He ran towards it, tail held out behind him as he launched himself in the air and kicked the bloody thing right between the eyes with both hooves like some strange bird of prey.

A hand shot out of the sand, and it was golden.
The sun cast heavy shadows as the creature pulled itself out of its gritty tomb. Its body was coated in a fine layer of whiteness- it sparkled in the sunlight.
It also reeked of butter.
JD flopped bonelessly behind the castle, sand chafing in nearly every orfice. He squinted - he swore he could feel little granules digging their way into his eyeballs. He officially HATED the beach. After this, he fully intended to go skinny dipping in the big lake thing over yonder. His skin crawled.
He sizzled wordlessly. Let the others deal with the crab problem, he was done.

After his last (and final) blow, Herryk staggered just a bit. He loomed over JD's prone form, wibbling slightly before collapsing atop JD's smaller, frailer, crispier body. After flailing wildly for a moment, buttery skin to buttery skin, Herryk rolled off of JD and merely closed his eyes. He was hot, greasy, gritty. "Is this real life?"

After watching Freya go, Emily decided add a few more small Johnny Danger ornaments to their sand castle. She was just putting the finishing touches on a miniature bust of the idol, pleased that her tiny size enabled her to really get some nice detail work in, when she noticed the rockstar on the ground...he was looking...injured... "b***h...you do not hurt Johnny Danger." HP: 25 Damage to crab: 6 Crab HP: 2

Raising her hand to unleash a vicious finishing move, Emily got distracted by the smell of Johnny Danger's slowly roasting flesh. Was he supposed to do that? Taking advantage of the distraction, the crab flipped Emily over a delivered a firm right claw.

But then Emily kicked that shitty crustacean back and turned the ******** tables. Even after the crab stopped moving and instead rapidly transformed into a bloody mess, Emily kept hitting. Do crabs really have that much blood? Her teammates may ask in confusion. The answer? They do now.

*** ROLL 4 20-sided dice*** THE TIDE COMES IN AND...Underneath all the blood, Emily's face was flushed with victory. And then... ...disaster struck.((OOC: ROLLED DAMAGE DONE: SUM OF YOUR DICE ROLLS OFFENSE OR DEFENSE: IF ODD, offensive damage, if EVEN, defensive damage. Now, if offense damage, subtract your defense FROM the offensive damage, vice versa. For example, if I roll a 77, that is OFFENSE. I look at my DEFENSE points. I have 10 defense points. I subtract 77-10. That is 67 damage done to MY CASTLE. SUM TOTAL OF DAMAGE DONE TO CASTLE: 15-5= 10 ))

Okay so it wasn't that bad, in fact there wasn't even any real waves, just more of a gentle tide. Mr. Monty didn't mind, as he had relocated to the top of the castle, and was currently high and dry, sippin' his gin and juice. Emily, however was devastated, as the main Johnny Danger tribute statue was starting to sink down into the sand. Panicked she began to repack the sand around him, and firm up his foundations. Somehow this involved a lot of sculpture groping. Fortunately her efforts also resulted in a slightly more stable sand castle. Quote: *** ROLL 1 100-sided dice WITH THESE MECHANICS: - 1- 20: You manage to pat a few pieces in place! +1 foundation points. - 21 - 40: You manage to get quite a few pieces in place. +2 foundation points! - 41-60: While shifting the grains of sand around, you accidentally drop one on your foot. Ouch! +0 foundation points. - 61 - 80: You spend a long time picking up a few pieces of sand, but better than nothing. +1 foundation points. - 81 - 100: You are really getting the hang of seeing which parts of your castle need the most work. +3 foundation points. (Obviously, please don't include this part in your posted final product form)****

Seeing Emily's efforts, Mr. Monty decided to contribute in his own way as well. Fortunately for Herryk, the cat squatting from on high missed the draugr, and instead hit the castle's foundation. It was highly effective. If a bit smelly. You should probably thank him, Herryk. Quote:

The small witch absently patted at the castle while looking for just the right sand to firm up Johnny Dangers rear with. It couldn't be anything to coarse or rocky, but it couldn't be too weak either. Johnny Danger's physique should be both smooth yet hard in all ways! It took awhile to find the perfect material, but eventually find it she did. And, really, how could a perfectly sculpted rockstar's a** not help the castle effort? Quote:

The waves were a welcome respite from the buttery sand that caked their bodies, but they also presented a rather immediate problem as the water sought to wash away all their his team member's hard work.
He tried not to stare as Emily cupped his sandy effigy's nethers.
Scooping up sand, JD awkwardly slapped it around the top of the skull. Sure, it looked kind of like it had some sort of horrible alien latched onto it, but it kept the driftwood and real fake speared bird from toppling over. And that would just not do.
Besides, the sunlight shone off gratuitous exposed skin with it's light oily butter coating. It dripped down his torso as he worked. JD was in business mode; he paid it no heed.

If there was one thing Zar hated more than anything else. It was water. So when the tide came in, he started running around like a cat with wet feet, trying to get out of the impending water, wings held as high up as he could possibly get them, terrified of getting his feathers wet.
However as he noticed the castle was starting to crumble, he did at least make himself useful, using his tail and hands to actually try and pat some of the sand back into place.

Nuru tried to jump into action and help. Tried.
Instead he dropped a grain of sand on his bare foot. He quickly looked around at the others hesitantly before moving to grab his foot with a loud, "Ouch!"
Dropping all the sand he'd gathered in the process.

Businesslike, JD hefted another pile of sand to rebuff some of the base, giving Nuru a sidelong glance. What was he grabbing his foot for? Maybe the boil found another crab. Whatever.
JD was too busy being a sandcastle-repairing machine.

JD patted the last bit in place, and stood back to observe his handiwork. A slow, surprisingly genuine smile spread across his face. ...And then he leaned against the nearest thing that was immediately convenient. Couldn't do ALL the work, now. He had to let his teammates get a hand in, right? Right. (( OOC: Foundation points earned in this post: 2 Total foundation points earned: 17 FOUNDATION REBUILDING TRY: 3/3 ))
