C O L E xxxxxxp i l f e r Seriously, Cole was pretty sure he would beam so hard, he would soon outshine the sun if Precious kept laying on the praise the way she was. She was always this way, he knew that. He vaguely remembered making a mental note to himself sometime last year not to talk to her too much, for fear of exploding from self-admiration.
As he held the door open for Precious to go through, he felt the slightest bit of pity for her as he watched her come face-to-face with Mrs. Collins herself, but that was quickly dispelled when the teacher turned her beady eyes on Cole. Cole gulped and managed an easy grin at the teacher.
"Jus' bein' gentlemanly, Miz Collins," he said, attempting to start off with light humor.
Mrs. Collins stared at Cole for a while, pursing her lips, then said, in an impossibly long, drawling voice, "Well, there's no need for that in my classroom. Take a seat, young man."
Cole only paused to give the teacher a loose salute before gliding down the aisles to his preferred seat in the back row, corner chair. He was pretty sure he wouldn't be able to sleep for the first half hour of this class, but maybe he could try just this once. Then, as Mrs. Collins turned a level eye on him, as if she knew exactly what he was thinking, Cole reconsidered. Disheartened, he rested his chin on his hand and sulked until it came time for the morning announcements.

After all the attention had been taken off Donald, he felt unwanted, so he slunk away to class so he could start being a clown before class.(Short post is short, I'm just now getting back into all the role plays I had to drop previously, so a synopsis would be appreciated)

RileyxxxMcDowellxxx•xx•xx•▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬Never complain, never explain. The bigger the hat, the smaller the property. Winning needs no explanation, losing has no alibi. All our best heroes are losers. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬"Yeah, ya should've been there! Well, I wasn't really there to see the whole thing, but from what I saw of the aftermath, it was pretty intense." The female twin replied with a light chuckle, mimicing the one that was currently escaping from her brother's throat before she noticed the teacher's stare in their direction. When the woman decided to move him to another seat, Riley had to use some self-control not to slam her hands on her desk and barate the woman for forcing her brother to move to a separate seat when they weren't the only ones causing a slight ruckus in the classroom. But when she saw that Randall did as the elderly bat instructed him to do and moved to a seat away from her, the green-haired girl sighed heavily as she placed her chin back on her open hand, glancing towards the door, wondering what would happen if she just ran out of the classroom.
But hearing her name being botched by the professor, Riley turned her head towards her as a frustrated snort escaped her nose. "Present." She stated nonchalantly, raising her free hand and waving it around, to draw attention away from her twin, who was constantly getting a weary stare from the teacher, now to her. She honestly didn't mind getting in trouble, no punishment that any school system could be worse than the hours of military training that her and her brother had endured over the passed few years.
[OOC: Again, sorry for my more recent absence. I was stricken down by a nasty flu that has been ravanging my family for the past few weeks and it seems to have hit me the hardest. But I've gotten better enough to read everyone's posts and I'm caught up on practically everything. Now to address some of the more recent topics.
Irako: I appreciate the idea, but I can't see a school just placing a wide variety of students in a single classroom without a good reason. Perhaps they're in an 'advanced' class? Maybe. But I would think that more people should interact with each other by just that, whether it be at lunch or at club meetings, etc. I'm all for that, but as for them being in a classroom together, I think subject matters that seniors are learning would be out of reach for some of the underclassman, no matter how bright they are. So as it stands, all students who are in the same grade go to the same classes together. Maybe they can all get sent to detention for some reason or anything, causing them to be forced to spend more time together after school? Again, not a bad idea, but sorry for the inconvinence.
Slag: And it's no problem really, mainly nothing really has happened besides the bell ringing and everyone getting to their respectable classrooms, and some more people has recently joined, so that should incourage some more interaction for you! :3] ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ As we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

____ ____ ____ _L e d e l l __H a r r i s ▐ ⊰ εїз ⊱ ▐ Ledell stopped in from of her History classroom and let go of Brianna's arm. "Well, here's my stop," she smiled. "See you later, Bri." She headed into the classroom and took a seat near the front, smiling at the teacher on her way. History was one of her favorite classes, though she liked all of them more or less equally. She took out her notebook and pencil, ready to learn.

((So. Should we all just do one post each for the first period, and then either go to the next period or time-skip to lunch? Because really, the roleplay won't progress all that much when the characters are in class. Not much happens during class.))

War is a necessity so that we may know peace...xxxxxxxBrianna nodded and did a victory fist pump. "You rock, Leddell. Let me know how it goes, ok?" As the older girl went into her classroom, Brianna waved, and began heading for her English class.
She arrived to find Donald already there, clowning around as usual. Brianna frowned slightly, then took her seat and began shuffling through her backpack for the right notebook. English was a tedious subject, but she managed well enough. Other students were shuffling in or gathering in little groups, sharing summer stories. Brianna yawned and pulled out a pencil, then began doodling in the margins of a blank paper.
Finally, class started, and there was a mad scramble to get seats next to besties. One guy gave her a dirty look before taking the seat in front of her. Once everyone was settled, the teacher started off with introductions. Gods, this was going to be a long class...xxxxxxxx... And Athena, goddess of war, enjoys every second of it.

[[ OOC: Trying to make the picture do what I want it to do is apparently harder than I anticipated. Hold tight! EDIT: Yaaaay, finally! :3 ]] OLIVER grinned as he strolled up to school just late enough to hear the bell go off. Psh, who cared? Its not like his grades were bad, and for some reason, his teachers rarely seemed to care. I mean yeah, its the first day back and all, but come on, we're all human. In truth, he'd woken up late and decided that it was worth taking time over his appearance. Especially since he was seeing Ledell again today. Sweet.
Despite his carefree attitude, his attire bordered on the meticulous. His hair was sculpted just so, a little up, a little down, the epitome of ordered messiness, and his thin V-neck jumper was perfectly fitted, hugging the not overly-muscled arms and torso without outlining every contour of his skin. Camel chinos - slightly tapered - showed off his legs, stopping fashionably short enough, allowing the tongues of a new pair of boat shoes to be seen. The sleeves of his jumper were the only thing that displayed any disarray, rolled up to his elbows just a bit scruffily, but still somehow looking cultured. The slight bite of the crisp morning air on his bare forearms wasn't unpleasant, he noted as he strolled through the doors and was hit by a wall of warmth. Leisurely, he made his way to the office, where he charmed the receptionist as she gave him his schedule. First lesson, History. He shrugged on his way to the lesson, readjusting his bag strap on his shoulder; not exactly his favourite subject, but this teacher was pretty good, and made everything simple.
Oliver knocked on the door and entered quickly, offering a smile of consolidation and apology for the teacher before turning his eyes to the classroom. They lighted on Ledell quickly and his grin reappeared, his boyish face brightening as he made his way to the seat just next to her. A part of him wanted to sit behind her so he could annoy her slightly, by nudging her chair with his foot or something, but she hated having her learning disturbed, and he knew better. So he slung his bag down under the table, retrieving notepad and pen as he sat down fluidly.
"Hey Del," he greeted her softly, following it immediately with a chaste kiss and a slight smile, eyes twinkling.

____ ____ ____ _L e d e l l __H a r r i s ▐ ⊰ εїз ⊱ ▐ Ledell chuckled and shook her head ruefully. Of course. That was just like Oliver. Late on the first day of school and making her worry, then making everything all right within the first five minutes of class. "Hey Ollie," she smiled back. "You had me worried. I thought something had happened to you."

OLIVER smirked. He recognised the certain little uptilt in her smile that meant she had been worrying. Honestly. "Something happen to me? I'm offended," he said, winking and settling back in his chair, one hand reaching up absently to ruffle his hair. Long legs stretched out from underneath the table as he slouched a bit and crossed his ankles, his attitude unchanged from last year's. [[ Time Warp? ]]

Before class, Donald saw Brianna come in. Now here was a world class hottie. Or, at least, she could be, if she wore more flattering clothes. He walked up to her and took his seat next to her. "So, Brianna, how was your summer? What did you do, beautiful?"
After class started, he kept watching her out of the corner of his eye, and wrote a note on a piece of paper. He passed it to her while the teacher wasn't looking and was hoping she would be wise enough not to open it up until it was clear. The note read "What are you doing after school, today?" When she took it from him, he gave her a game-winning smile and looked back at the front of the class.
